Just did the same thing yesterday. Not to try to correct you, as your unit might be different. But, with what I have seen, W1 and W2 are not split from left burner and right burner sections. Gas valve one and gas valve 2 both energize on a W1 only call. Just on low fire. In other words, both burner sections will be lit on a W1 only call. When second stage is needed both gas valves go into high fire. Nice video though. Keep doing what you're doing.
I'm new to hvac world, at my job we have a roof top unit trane yr 99. I replaced the induction blower , the unit heater now does every step like it should, but will only keep the flame for maybe 10 seconds.... can anyone help pls!!!!!
Squirtle Hvac hi, I did find the problem. .. when I kneeled to inspect the the flame, I noticed the flame coming out the opposite way hitting the sensor and cutting the unit off. Heat exchanger had cracks all the way.

Take photo of wiring before you change things because sometimes wires come off all by themselves and you don't know where the hell they were.

francisco munoz oh ok nicr. Dancing flames is indication of cracked heat exchanger. Package unit or furnace?
