Thank you for these videos. Im a residential tech about to start work for a commercial company and while I am good at reading schematics and using my meters, knowing how economizers work will save me a whole lot of frustration. Great videos, straight to the point and informative. A+ instructionals!
Very good explanation. Thank you so much for uploading this. Very helpful for the young bucks like myself who want to learn but don't have good access to training.
Excelsior!!!! Fawking fought with one of these things for an hour today on karate studio... POS !!! After that I bypassed it entirely rather than troubleshoot it...
Towards the end you mentioned the module is faked and thinks it is ok to open and bring in free cooling. If that were the case why did the compressor cooling cycle on if your sensor is thinking it's cold enough outside to economize?
With a 2 stage thermostat on a unit with an economizer, the unit will run the economizer for the 1st stage call for cooling and run the compressor for the 2nd stage call for cooling. In other words it will run both the economizer and a compressor at the same time if you have it connected with a 2 stage thermostat. Pretty much all Manufacturers use this logic where you can see a unit economizing and running a 1st stage compressor at the same time.
You are Very good at economizer system, I would loves to learn more from you sir.👍

So glad it helps, wish I could've found a simple explanation (video) years ago when I had no idea how to work on them
Fantastic video! Thank you for helping technicians . Very kind of you to help techs and taking your time to make a video
Thank you 🙏, it is not easy to make video and work, you made the economizer so easy to work with, God Bless you
I love you brotha. You saved me a big headache with dealing with a current economize issue on a Lennox
David; Great Job! Highly appreciate your passion and valuable time, teaching and so well explained.
Thanks appreciate that
Great job and thank you for teaching us. Young man..😊
Another outstanding video. Straight and to the point. Great job.
David thank you so much for this content it's really helped me understand how these systems work
My pleasure paying it forward
WOW im so glad you did this video , i just had an issue with a RUUD unit yesterday and this answered some questions for me,Thank you brother!!

Wow. Super great information and learning. Thanks alot for sharing!
My pleasure!
Great video! Outstanding job! Thanks for your time.
Awesome video! Very informative and straightforward. I learned alot.
We love us some Dave!
Great video, how do you test the enthalpy sensor though?
Thanks for your training videos👍👍👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏
Awesome walked through
Great content and explanation
on some of rtu units the yellow wire is for stage 2 cooling coming from the economizer like carrier or Bryant
Awesome video! Well explained.
this is gold . thank you !
Awesome video
Great video
Great video. Thank you!!
holy crap, its not like that condenser coil wasn't pelted with hail or anything...
Is that condenser motor spinning backward?
No its not, videos just make it look that way sometimes
so the actuator is bad on this unit and needs replaced?
How do by pass a york economizer?
