Cool video. In the UK Levi's 501 jeans were iconic in the 1980s and there were a number of famous adverts. All the young people wore them, although you were not allowed in most clubs with blue jeans. Then that generation became old with beer bellies and they were still wearing Levis and it actually put young people off wearing them. So instead of being associated with cool rebellion, they were associated with middle-aged guys walking their dog...haha.
They say fashion is cyclical. Maybe the cycle is mostly younger generations rejecting what the previous one wore and trying to make something their own... until a new generation arrives on the scene.

When I think of blue jeans I think of workers and long lasting clothing. And I’m in my 20s.
in teh 60s and 70s blue jeans were seen as a sign of political support for the blue-collar workers/proletariat
Interesting topic, video doesn’t play well
Good vid until it turns into an advertisement
Disrespected the locals and didn't treat the town very well. Sounds like police and rich people.
