My father used to have a clothing store during the 90s in Perú and i remenber when i went to the Levi`s factory in Lima to see some collections, it was AMAZING!!! So many models, merchandising, colors, etc everything made with Peruvian 100% cotton good quality, prices, many wholesale buyers trying to get all what they need like crazy, it was the best moment for many years till the goverment at that time let the polyester fabrics get in with so low prices and bad quality, the factory closed and levis is now coming from Chile or el Salvador, so thin and expensive, not more the quality it used to be.
@@ayyy3606 A pair of Levis last me well over 7 years and is still going strong. Sure the color have faded but the stitching and the shape of the jean is still there. Also, Levis outlets are always jammed with European, Asian and foreign tourists buying bags of Levis when I visit fashion outlets in California.
M j G I have a completely different experience in the USA, particularly after Levi’s started manufacture overseas in Bangladesh, Asia, after 2004. Most commenters on this video agree (see below). But, you’ll have the opportunity to buy Levi’s stock this year; it’s a one-trick pony company, but if you feel invested in your thought about gangbuster sales, buying the IPO of Levi’s should be a winning idea for you. 😃 💵 I’m not being facetious...It could make you rich if you are right. Peace, MjG
They forgot to add that Wiz Khalifa was a huge boost to Levi between 2010-2017 with 501 jeans and camo shorts he made it very popular
Boom or bust I still love my 501s since 1985 (I was both at 1979)
My father used to have a clothing store during the 90s in Perú and i remenber when i went to the Levi`s factory in Lima to see some collections, it was AMAZING!!!
My fav denim brand
Great video,keep it up!×
Levi’s is the best 👌🏻
Calvin Klein jeans are garbage
me ow Levis isn’t the best and obviously Calvin Klein isn’t either. Nudie, Acne, Naked and Famous, and unbranded have one of the best denim.
@@ayyy3606 A pair of Levis last me well over 7 years and is still going strong. Sure the color have faded but the stitching and the shape of the jean is still there. On the other hand brand like Naked and Famous and unbranded jeans lasted maybe 2 to 3 years before the crotch area needs re stitching already. I usually wait till there is a sale on Levis and just grab a pair of two.
Michael Yun Naked and Famous is on the cheaper end of high end jeans, same for Unbranded but I seriously doubt that the crotch will break on selvedge denim that easily. I’ve seen people with Levis have their jeans practically destroyed after only a year or 2.
Noah It’s much bigger of a problem with Levis with their lack of quality control
me ow RL is quality
I miss Levis Orange Tab Jeans. Bought a few in the late 70's and early 80's.
Levi's were great. I dunno what happened. Used to be they would were all consistent size wise right off the shelf. Now you can buy a bunch of the same size and they're all different.
We can easily say that Levi’s sell “EMOTION”
Japanese denim is where it's at.
Phillip Leong THIS. I stay wearing Iron Heart denim all day.
Yes but my wallet says otherwise
Phillip Leong only if constructed well
I love this Brand
Levi's 501s the best Jean's ever, that's all I wear since a teen I need levis sponsorship for this loyalty lol
Levi’s are not Levi’s anymore and haven’t been for a long time. A pair of Levi’s lasts less than a year these days. Compare a pair of 47MWZ’s to Levi’s 501s. It’s laughable.
@@devilzdandruff9199 ok I only wear them once or twice any ways so what idc 😂
DroopyHussle You just said that “they are all you ever wear” and now you say you wear them once or twice? Lol, ok.
It's still a respectable brand and I always enjoy making Levi's jeans try on videos.
I come here for aot Levi
I love Levi's and will keep buying them over Gap, CK or whatever brand..
I never have had Levi's.
These videos are soo informative.... i sound smart infront of my peers 😆
All denim heads like Levi’s selvedge, unsanforized and US made. Now they produce only poor quality jeans except some series with high price and not worth it.
cubeeism,
So true. I’d rather pay more for better constructed Japanese repros.
@@nunyabeezwacks1408 Some amazing denim being made in Thailand too.
I can still remember my mom buying all my levis jeans from thr husky section ib Macys, when I was a kid. I'm 33 and I still only wear Levis and get them fron Macys.
The only reason all my jeans are Levi's is because they're the only store to actually carry my size. Im very tall and so many stores dont bother to make their clothes long enough for a range of people
How tall are you?
@@RJLS98 I'm 182cm (6foot)
@@cocoacoolness Im 1.80 and yeah pretty tall for a girl !
Amazing that the Levi Launderette commercial was never mentioned, one commercial that put the brand back in popularity.
501 IS BEST
*how a company can be in debt and borrowed billions of dollars over the years but still running amazed me*
A pair of Levi's are $120.00 here in
New Zealand.... that's why I wear
IFD.DNM's more stylish & 2 for $100...
Levi's will always be 🔥🔥🔥🔥 rite now my favorite Denim brand is Nudie Jeans, Naked & Famous & Levi's.
Don’t really like the jean’s fit but levis got the best denim jackets
Don't forget about their commuter line. Levis is the only mainstream brand that will cater to bike commuters.
The last time I seen anyone in Levi's was in 1978
Where you been
@@michaelgray1803 lol 😂
Levi’s is brand forever!❤❤❤
