🙏 My sincerest thank you to Pat and Accu-Stats - This video accomplished two items of my " Pool bucket list " ... Those being #1 : Watch " The Prince of pool play in atleast one match - And #2 : Listen to Mike L. Speak ( For some reason I always wonder what his voice sounded like ) - Also I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary on this match . As always I like the videos before I watch more then one minute of the match because I remember when I use to pay around $ 20.00 for videos like when I ordered them from Accu-Stats on video cassette and never did I dream over 20+ years later I would be able to watch all these historic videos for free - Thank you once again - The best to you and yours infinitely 🙏
Cool old stuff. Interesting to see how the older videos show the distance of chin to cue sticks as compared to today's players. It's indicative of the influence of snooker player's methods on American pool techniques it seems. One also notes, possibly, the lack of walking around, up and down, back and forth and the economy of time spent before a shot . . . I'm just guessing as I've not watched yet . . . Just guessing we're not going to see the habits regular to modern players . . . could be wrong of course . . . we'll see . . .
these guys were also on the Senior Tour at the time of filming. When they were in their primes I am sure they got lower. Players tend to creep higher and higher the older they get.
Why celebrate the guy that was responsible for the downfall of professional pool when it was at its height , pool could be as big as baseball with our players making the money they deserve.i say strike his name from from every record..
If you struck the name of every pool player that did something shady in the HOF, you'd better sharpen some pencils. From what I've been told Lebron was one of many that threw crooked dice at that crap shoot in Vegas.

Thanks Pat or whoever puts these up!
The funniest part is Buddy Hall hosting a Mike Lebron match past '91 LOL.
Would love to see jay Swanson play pat f
18:00'mark,why didn't he take ball in hand?
At 11:05 the player with ball in hand moves the cue ball with the tip of his stick. Clearly a foul. It is called 'Ball in HAND' for a reason.

Game has evolved. Players today have better tools, technology, etc…that make them better than players in time past.
