Yellow brass for me, with this particular mouthpiece! Seemed the most balanced.
I was playing the yellow brass version with a stainless steel lead piece today and it is as bright as any trumpet. It’s true that the Deep Vee mellows the sound considerably. I will post a video with a more standard C cup mouthpiece eventually.
