The amazingness of this video and the unbelievable amount of effort these guys are putting into making CJ4 into a free study level airplane really make me want to cry. I can't thank you enough.
When MSFS2020 was first announced the CJ4 was the aircraft I was most excited about. Out of the box it was not great. You guys are really doing yeoman's work for the whole community. I spend all of my flight time in the CJ4 now. Congrats and keep it up!!!
Been following your videos with great interest. Good work. I have finally purchased MSFS and love the CJ4. What I would like to know is am I required to load all the Working Title mods in order or just the last one?
The flight model changes are still a wip but about as good as they are going to be for now. Some things like the excessive ground effect are going to need further work on Asobo's end to fully fix. Asobo have announced that they are working on flight model changes for an upcoming update so we'll see.
Or the entire cockpit wouldn't even show up... nothing but a windshield frame would show.. so did they fix it so you can actually see the cockpit? That would be a great start!?
I’m used to flying the C510 Mustang. Does the CJ4 have a process for checking annunciations and safety systems? Is there a plan to add these processes to the workflow? Loving the work you guys have done to this aircraft.
I simulated a hydraulic failure, gear and flaps didnt work but my honeycomb bravo didn't indicate the failures and could still hear the gear/flaps sound effects like they weren't correctly recognized.
I'm not a dev so I can't really give you a detailed answer but from what I understand it has to do with something deep inside the Asobo engine models which is outside of 3rd party control for now.
Unfortunately the Longitude is largely locked up behind DRM. There are some limited things you can do like liveries and modifying the G3000 avionics but, as of now, something as extensive as the CJ4 mod would not be possible in the Longitude.
Help me please, I'm interested in this working title CJ4. Thanks for the link to the download but I need to know here how to install it. Does it go into the Community Folder or where?
SOLUTION TO FMS TAKEOFF DIRECTION: Set Departure & Arrival Set both Runways in ARR/DEP (be sure these are in the direction of travel which are always where you first meet the Runway of course). In LEGS where you see the usual DISCONTINUITY by not setting up a Waypoint after the Runway it is not needed to manually delete this via any input although it gets you to that 1st Waypoint if added. *** NOTE doing so will NOT FIX THE FMS DIRECTION like before *** Instead Click 2 times on the Top Right DEPARTURE SEQUENCE which also cancels the DISCONTINUITY and corrects your direction direct to your next Waypoint. It also removes your Departure Leg having already got there. - ENJOY o7

The graphics and mapping tech of msfs, made me return to flight sim, Working Title and FlybyWire made me stay. Thanks.

Out of the box it was unflyable, fms was a mess, fuel consumption, autopilot and aerodynamics too. WT is amazing!

Happy to hear that! Load order doesn’t matter with the WT mods. As long as they are in the Community folder you are good to go :)

Why do the engines surge on Take Off when full throttle is given? I've noticed it on several aircraft in the sim.

Yeah, just put it in the community folder and that's it.
