    Designed specifically for solo and duo performers, the Perform-VG's powerful vocal effects engine captures chordal information from your guitar to transform your voice into realistic vocal harmonies. Add depth to your sound with reverb, echo, and other effects. Maintain perfect intonation with auto-chromatic pitch correction. And employ adaptive EQ, compression, gating, and de-essing to put the final shine on your voice.

    is it possible/safe to plug a yamaha C4 stage piano (L/mono) into this as well as an acoustic guitar? I play both, but don't want to buy both the VK and the VG, let alone switch between the two during a gig. Also, is there pitch correction on this one like the VK? Thanks

    Harmonizer sounds nice at any price point. I'd like to see it harmonize over slightly more complex chords. The rest of the features are also great and should be given how long manufacturers have been making them.

    Compared to other brands tc helicon delivers better harmony and has good harmony tracking. Like from major to minor, Sus to maj, it also depends which chord position youre using so to get the right harmony voice to float out. Ive tried and owned a single blue harmony singer and now use tc helicon gxt the harmony tone voice are a bit different. try test before buying. they have a lot for you to choose that will suit your taste. Example of good harmony tracking using the proper chord position - "sound of silence song" very close harmony to point. If the harmony is out you might not be using the right chord position. (1st/2nd/3rd/ openchords/slash chords.)

    I sure hope this works on banjo...also, the overlap or lack thereof in these products is frustrating. I popped on this, over the VE because it has some things that should help get my live banjo sound to where I want it. Enough cheaper too. If the VE had some of the things this had it may have drawn me up. And also, if this had some of the cool features of the VE I would be more confident in my purchase. I also play bass so I’m concerned I won’t have the right amount of badassery to warrant bringing the extra kit into the band. Fingers crossed, it looks like a great and useful unit. If only it had everything! Such is life

    I always have Tc Helicon staff in my gear. Thank you, guys. I have a request for the next firmware update. Using 3/6 switch (personally I have 6) I'd like to map more than one function: e.g., MIX button boost the guitar (already exist) plus engage ECHO (my request). Totally cool. I don't need ECHO when I'm stumming. I need it when I play solo. Please DO IT

    Once a 1/4 inch is plugged into the thru jack, does it automatically bypass? Or does it recognize an acoustic signal and still send output through the mic out? Am curious of being able to run both acoustic and electric signal through this puppy. Not at the same time, just during a show, it would be great to switch between acoustic and electric between songs and have everything consistent.

      Hi, Marieke. Great question! The Voice Live Play Acoustic manual only mentions the Switch 3 and not the 6, however according to some reviews on our product page, the Switch 6 seems to work as expected when used with the Voice Live Play Acoustic. So, I can promise you the Switch 3 would work, and the Switch 6 probably will! Luckily we have stellar customer service, so if you run into any issues, we will take care of you! Is this only made for plug-in acoustic guitar or can you Mic the guitar if it's the guitar you were using is not a plug-in guitar and still use the product. Basically what I'm asking is can you use this product if you have to mic an acoustic guitar

    • @tchelicon
      @tchelicon 6 лет назад +2

      Hey Andy. There's no second mic input for the acoustic, so it's definitely designed with a pre-amped guitar in mind. That said, there's a small "RoomSense" mic on the front of the unit that can capture your chords from a nearby acoustic, so you can get key/scale for Harmony without plugging the guitar in. That doesn't solve an amplification problem, but you could separately mic the guitar to a mixer while still getting the harmony component.

  • @tonymediati8274

    So basically to turn on or off the harmonies or any other effect for that matter,you would need to purchase the footswitch ,example you want to bring in the harmonies just for the chorus of the song ,how would you go about switching to harmonies when the unit is mounted on the microphone stand,unless you do it by hand and get out off beat from playing your guitar,or again a foot switch is required (mandatory) or this unit is absolutely useless without the foot switch,unless I'm missing something, want to purchase, please clarify.

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  Год назад +1

      Hi Milos, this is a good question! Unfortunately, the Perform VG will not be able to do doubling for you. The Harmony effect does not have any unison modes, only intervals above and below, and the unit itself does not have any presets or the ability to beam presets into it. The only options to get doubling with that unit would be to have another unit in line like their Duplicator pedal.
      If you have further questions, just give me a ring!

      Sometimes you can get a ground loop if your PA/Mixer/Amp are plugged into a different outlet than the VG. Putting everything onto the same circuit can help. Also, there's a tiny "GND" switch on the back of the product that lifts the ground. That can help too. Give it a try :)

"Do you want looping, or guitar effects?". The sales engineers at Sweetwater are great at helping figure that kind of thing out with you and directing you to the best solution for your budget.
