So sorry about the audio messing up when I posted this video the other day! It should all be fine now, love you guys thanks for being patient with me!! ❤️❤️❤️
I'm a medical student I've recommended your channel to so many people Amy (both other students and also some of the lovely patients I've met who are grappling with similar conditions to you. It's so generous of you to share your experience so openly. Learning about your experience as someone with chronic illness navigating the healthcare system has been so invaluable to me. Thank you so much. Sending you so much love for your recovery xxx
As someone who has struggled with keeping their weight up and down at different periods... I remember hitting the healthy range after being underweight for so long. It's a proud -and weird- feeling ♡ good to see you back btw!
I'm so glad you have uploaded another video!! Amy, I can't even tell you how much I look up to you. I've suffered with Gastroparesis for years and years and been following your videos for a long time too. From seeing your social media, you have actually made me finally accept myself for the way I am, as I know there are other people out there too. I struggled to accept myself because I wasn't like 'normal' girls my age. So honestly, this is just a thank you message because you've been a massive inspiration for me. Sending you lots of love and hope you are feeling better soon!! xxxx
I've spent most of my life thinking I just needed to bear through all pain and not ask for things I needed... But I've actually learned recently that it's okay to ask the phlebotomist to talk to you while they inject or draw blood, etc. And it actually really helps me. They can just talk nonsense, sometimes, and it still is such a relief to focus on something else. That's just me, though! Anyways, more importantly, I am so happy to see you back again. ❤️❤️❤️ I was watching some of your older vlogs and you look so much healthier compared to years ago before you started the TPN. We love you and are so proud of you!!
Ohhhh yayyyyyyyyy!!! My favourite girl is back. This brought me Soo much Joy. I needed this joy today. My chemist stuffed up my injections 8 months ago and I'm still suffering for it, so seeing your you, is bringing me endless joy.
I'm so glad you are vlogging again when you are feeling up to it. Since I started watching your videos, I have actually received my EDS Type III diagnosis. I'm much older and not nearly in as bad a shape as many of you are, but I have three daughters aged 14, 17 and 21 who are all experiencing the beginning symptoms in their high school and college years. Couple of more months and I can hopefully get them started seeing some initial doctors for diagnosis and treatment. Love you guys.
Glad to see you Amy. Those Xolair shots sure take ages to go in but I am so thankful for my three every month to help with my mast cell issues and hives 😀
Omg we also take Xolair every second week! It has also helped us so much, since with out it, we experience really severe allergy symptoms. Now we are able to sleep at night without having to take multiple histamine tablets and creams and don’t get demerits and bloody spots on our body. It still doesn’t help much with our food allergies, but this is like due to the fact, that these allergies are triggered by t-cells and not Antibodies.❤️
Omg!!! I have not clicked so fast!!! I am so happy to see a vlog from you. I have been following you IG but still loving to see you vlog. I hope to see you back to vlogging but definitely take your time and make sure you don't over do it, your health is always what is most important to all of us!!! Cant wait to see a new house tour now that you guys have been living there for awhile now... Sending you lots of love!!!
So good to see you back! 😊 I hope the Xolair works a bit better for you now. Had to change mine to every 3 weeks to help with symptoms x I was just doing my own at home while watching the vid 😂 Sending all the air hugs and best wishes to you guys, hope you're all keeping safe and well 💜
I was on the UK Drug trial for omalizumab (xolair) back in 2009 . Then when it was approved after the trial I was on 3 injections every 2 weeks. It really helped me a lot with my anaphylaxis & MCAS the bone pain for me was tough. others that I’ve spoke to who were/are on it said that too. However after 6 years on it one day I happened to have a huge anaphylactic reaction to it and arrested. Luckily mine were done in my respiratory clinic so I was in the right place thank god I ended up spending 2 weeks in ITU ventilated. I was told by my Respiratory team & ITU team when they woke me up I narrowly missed them putting a tracheostomy in as my airway was so swollen in the end they used a peads ET tube till they had loaded me with IV adrenaline, hydrocortisone, aminophyline and salbutamol drips. I had two IO needles in, one in each shin. I’m so glad I wasn’t conscious when that happened! Hope you do as well on it as I did, it for sure served me great for 5/6 years. Sending love to your little furbaby’s too. 💜
I was wondering how you were doing! Glad to see you are okay. Good luck on surgery! I'm getting total knee replacements soon because my OA is so bad at the ripe age of 19. I feel for you!
So glad you posted, I was worried about you. Watched all your videos after finding your channel and love watching. Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Yay! I miss seeing your face all the time to the point I just watch old videos from the start again before bed because your voice and demeanor relaxes me! Sending you all the best love and vibes!
Wow u really know your treatments. Thats great. U just keep rocking through all the hurdles thrown at you. Your so cute even on your bad days. Such a inspiration🥰🙏💜
Just knowing rhat this was followed by a video of a horrible few months with the surgery your isolation and depression..then realising you're no longer here.. it hurts 😢 but i know you are in a better place ❤
So so so happy that you are coping with all the stuff you are going through and doing what you can to get well and put out content but I really wish your life was easier and you could be at least pain free, you are such a wonderful person and I really wish you all the best ❤️
Dear Amy I just wanted to tell you that you are my HERO 🧡🧡.. I also suffer from some serious health problems...and for a very long time I've done nothing but to cry over themm...but when I found you, you made me realize that life holds much more..I need to be strong and not let such things come in my way of fulfilling my dreams... Lots of love and wishes from India🤗🤩🤩😊😊
Sheetal Rathi yes hun, you are so strong you got this. Sometimes we may have to work harder than normal people to reach our goals, but when we do it’s the most satisfying and incredible feeling. You got this, I know you can reach your dreams/goals sending my love! 💕💕💕💕
Amy, you are so beautiful! PLEASE don't worry about your skin. Everyone has break outs every now and again! I certainly don't look or notice them in your videos until you point it out lol. Much love from Texas, USA!
Western Australia is living it's best normal life it's crazy! They are living like the virus doesn't exist because it doesn't in that state, no restrictions no nothing! I'm living in the eastern states of Australia and it's a very different story... Melbourne is recovering from a second wave of covid and has been in heavy lockdown since July!
She said there is pretty much no cases where she is. There is in other states but not hers and all the borders are closed where no one can come in or go out
I was so happy to see you uploaded a video! And I can’t wait until Christmas season, I enjoyed you two opening your Harry Potter Christmas countdown!!!!!! Missed you so much! Glad to see that face of yours 🤩
Also, I am going to be evaluated for gastroparesis soon. I had 2 liver transplants 3 years ago and now I am throwing up every morning, so bloated all the time, pressure... it’s no fun. I’m so happy I started following you ♥️
I've just had my 3rd lot of injections of Xolair, it has been amazing!. Before Xolair I was covered from the bottom of my feet to my scalp in severe hives, and now I just have a few hive heat and there. Stupidly I thought I could stop having the injections 🤦♀️ WOW what a massive massive mistake.q
@@amyslife4457 i didn't know how I could live day to day before this, I took 1 month off and my gosh it hit me like a train! I was off the meds for 1 month and my god it came back twice as hard! I regret ever coming off, I just thought that maybe I could but oh no! I have reactions ever day but 3 days ago my entire body was destroyed in hives,.
She goes over it in a more recent video, but her left hip is even more hyper mobile and the surgery took like double the time and was a lot harder to do.

She said this was filmed in July. Masks weren't made mandatory in Australia until later on! 😊
Caitey B masks are not mandatory every where in Australia. On in Victoria.

Had no idea you were having a full hip replacement? Where they unable to do the same surgery as last time?
She goes over it in a more recent video, but her left hip is even more hyper mobile and the surgery took like double the time and was a lot harder to do.
