Crushed walnut shells works great for filling and also sharpens your pins.
OMG. I don't know how I missed this one. It is adorable and I need a new one. I am so tired of the old red tomato. I watch nearly all of your videos and I think they are wonderful. I have been sewing for over 65 years and I am still learning new things all the time. I have made men's suits, wedding gowns and brides maids dresses, kid's clothes, my clothes, design and sew handbags, make some dolls, made doll clothes for years when I was a kid for money and anything else you can think of, and I still am learning new and easier ways to sew. You have helped immensely. Thank you so much for sharing. Your figures are wonderful.

Love this pattern! I use crushed walnut shells in my pincushions. They sharpen the pins, and the oils from the shells is said to prevent rust. You can find it on Amazon .com

Great pattern! Thanks so much for sharing this. My apron was a little long on the body, so I wish I'd checked before heat sealing the floral layer onto the base layer. I didn't have any heavy-duty thread and my thread broke while I was trying to cinch it down. So, what I did was I put pins in the side (into the sides of the carboard to hold it all in place) and then I used a glue gun to glue the fabric down on the cardboard. Worked like a charm!

Omg, I just made my 1st one. They are sew cute. Only thing I forgot out of excitedness, was to put the neckline on. But that's OK, cause I had a strand of small white pearls. No civil housewife would go without her pearls. Haha

@@payitforward9442 it's an addiction. It all started with fixing a bow of my daughter's. Now I have so much ribbon. From there it went to kanzashi flowers, and satin ribbon flowers. I loved making those. Tulips and roses were my fav. So now I have a good supply of embellishments for crafting. This is basically what I do all day. Keeps me busy, and from nibbling all day.

New to this type of thing, but I am finding Lisa’s tutorials amazing and absolutely inspiring!. She explains it all so clearly!. Nothing sounds very difficult with a bit of practice. I have bought a little beginners felting kit just to practice packing stuffing, but the instructions are really rubbish! Can anyone recommend a site to watch which will help me understand these little tools better?, what to use them for and why?. Pretty much I need “an idiots guide
