Dear Lisa, I want you to know that I've been subscribed to your channel for maybe 3 years now and I have never told you that you've inspired me to learn sewing then... I bought a machine and I'm self taught. I'm so grateful for having found your videos, your such a great artist and I appreciate your kindness for sharing your patterns with us. Thank you!
I’m so happy to hear from you Luly, I’m completely self taught too! It keeps us original😊 Delighted to have you with me and I hope you stay! You should feel very proud to be your own teacher. Lots more patterns on the way for you, enjoy, warmest regards, Lisa
OMG. I don't know how I missed this one. It is adorable and I need a new one. I am so tired of the old red tomato. I watch nearly all of your videos and I think they are wonderful. I have been sewing for over 65 years and I am still learning new things all the time. I have made men's suits, wedding gowns and brides maids dresses, kid's clothes, my clothes, design and sew handbags, make some dolls, made doll clothes for years when I was a kid for money and anything else you can think of, and I still am learning new and easier ways to sew. You have helped immensely. Thank you so much for sharing. Your figures are wonderful.
Lisa, I have made at least a dozen of these lovely pincushions for fundraisers. Thank you for the pattern, and fantastic tutorial. I plan to share this lovely idea once again in November with my quilt guild. on ways to use small bits of fabric to make beautiful and useful items.
Hi Lisa, I made yesterday, it is quite fun! My husband asked me what I am going to do will all this stuff, I told him if I die before him, I am leaving for him in my will to take care and keep dust off :-) thanks again for a great pattern. Have a lovely day!
Thank you for this wonderful pattern. You are kind and generous to share your passion to the rest of the world. I am a beginner and learning to sew from people like you. Thank you. Be safe and stay healthy
Great pattern! Thanks so much for sharing this. My apron was a little long on the body, so I wish I'd checked before heat sealing the floral layer onto the base layer. I didn't have any heavy-duty thread and my thread broke while I was trying to cinch it down. So, what I did was I put pins in the side (into the sides of the carboard to hold it all in place) and then I used a glue gun to glue the fabric down on the cardboard. Worked like a charm!
Thank you for the great class and information, I'm new to your classroom and your so kind and gifted, I truly appreciate your kindness and encouragement!! Have a Beautiful Blessed Day !!
Love this pattern! I use crushed walnut shells in my pincushions. They sharpen the pins, and the oils from the shells is said to prevent rust. You can find it on Amazon .com
i will definitely be trying this but i will microwave my rice 1st to kill any wizzles. such a lovely make. i have seen the Mannequin done before but on a stand and didn't like that thought it might keep falling over. this one look just the job. Thank you for the patten. x
Hi Lisa, found your channel a week ago . Sending thank yous from Canada. I use crushed walnuts that can be sourced from your local pet store. Great tutorials. Thank you for sharing, will definitely pay it forward

Hello Community, New to this type of thing, but I am finding Lisa’s tutorials amazing and absolutely inspiring!. She explains it all so clearly!. Nothing sounds very difficult with a bit of practice. I have bought a little beginners felting kit just to practice packing stuffing, but the instructions are really rubbish! Can anyone recommend a site to watch which will help me understand these little tools better?, what to use them for and why?. Pretty much I need “an idiots guide Thanks in advance X
Thank you for this well explained tutorial i love it. This so cute I will try making one for myself and if its a success I will make one for my daughter in-law's mom since she's a dressmaker I'm sure she will like this 😊
Fabulous pattern! Thanks so much for sharing. I have a basket full of Simply Orange juice bottle caps and they work perfectly as the base. I've made 7 already! Gifts for my sewing friends. I know they will love it as much as I do!
Love these. I just made my second one. Luckilyni have a bunchnof embellishments from making hairbows in a previous life. Lots of small bling to add. Sew much fun.
Omg, I just made my 1st one. They are sew cute. Only thing I forgot out of excitedness, was to put the neckline on. But that's OK, cause I had a strand of small white pearls. No civil housewife would go without her pearls. Haha
@@payitforward9442 it's an addiction. It all started with fixing a bow of my daughter's. Now I have so much ribbon. From there it went to kanzashi flowers, and satin ribbon flowers. I loved making those. Tulips and roses were my fav. So now I have a good supply of embellishments for crafting. This is basically what I do all day. Keeps me busy, and from nibbling all day.
