Medical costs in the United States are too expensive to easily go to the hospital. Japan has a national health insurance system. In Japan, if you give birth, you will receive a subsidy of 420,000 yen($4,000), so the actual cost of childbirth is about 100,000 yen($950). Thank you for always having fun videos.

Sounds very comfortable and safe to give birth in Japan! Here in Finland🇫🇮too, everything is very clean and you are very well taken care of. And we get a maternity-box before the baby is born, wich is FULL of high quality babyclothes in different sizes to cover the first year. Also some toys and other important items like baby-bottles, pacifier, lotions, powders.... And the box has a matress and can be used as babys first bed! I slept in my own box 55years ago(!) And both my sons slept in their boxes 27 and 18 years ago!

My eldest was a c-section and I was inside for a week. My middle daughter I had issues and had to stay 10 days! Youngest I was out six hours later! In England you are encouraged if you are well to leave the same day. Japanese hospitals look so nice!

ご出産おめでとうございます。見覚えがあると思ったら、登戸の同じ産院で息子2人を生みました。早産でクリスマスに出産になってしまい、ずっとクリスマスソングを聞きながら36週になるまで陣痛を耐えた思い出があります。母乳のケア、お風呂の入れ方、オムツ替え、色々教えてくれて入院している間に訓練できたのはありがたかったです。退院するときはこれから1人でやるのかあ、、、とちょっと心細くなりました。病院のベッドが恋しいってすごくよく分かります。退院すると寝不足の日々が始まりますからね。でも皆さんお友達が近くで気にかけてくれるのは心強いですね。健やかなる成長をお祈りします。

In Canada it is free to have a baby, as is most medical costs, but some of the procedures can be quite a wait. Giving birth however takes a priority here. I’ve had two c-sections with my boys. My pelvis was too narrow and my boys were just too big; both of them weighing in over 10lbs. And even though I had major surgery both times, I was just in the hospital for a little over 48 hours before they are pushing you out the door. However the beds are so awful and the food is so gross, you are so happy to leave and go home.

It depends on your insurance, I paid $1000 USA out of pocket with a C-section - 4 days in the hospital for me and 12 days in the NICU for my son, it would of been over $50,000 but with my insurance it was $1000 . They gave me 3 bags full of baby items,( diapers, formula, pacifiers, hand sanitizer, baby shampoo,, etc… . Also got a stuffed frog, baby spoon, books, food was horrible , but that was the only thing that was bad.
I never had a child, but here in Germany you mostly stay 2 days in the hospital when you get a baby

This makes me want to have a baby in Japan. Lol. Wow she stayed five nights!? I just had my fourth c-section 3 months ago in Texas. They really do get you in and out quick. I only stayed 2 nights. Pain medicine was offered but I only took ibprophen and recovered nicely. The birthing wing in our hospital is also separate from the rest so no running into other people. The food is terrible. Japan’s hospital stay looks like a treat.

Good thing the husband was allowed in the clinic. No visitors were allowed in hospitals and clinics for a long while because of Covid 19.
It was a special consideration they made for Paul and Pri.

When my children were born in the US the security was very strict. The moment that the children were born a bracelet was placed on their foot and on both parents.At that time I think that one person may have been allowed in the hospital room but there had been some incident around the time and it was not easy to get into the maternity unit.When leaving we were escorted to the car with the baby.

それにしても日本の出産率低い原因の一つとして出産費が高いから低いのかと思ってたけど、海外と比べても低いって聞かされて少し驚いた。アフターケア等もかなり充実してるんですね日本って・・・
この状況で出生率低い日本っていったいどうしたらいいんだ・・・
夫がどれくらい育児に参加するかですね。
現役世代の賃金(懐事情)でしょうね。出産に限らず諸経費が高めなのに手取りが伸びないのでは、気が向かないでしょう。
ベビーブームも社会が登り調子の時のものですしね。

If the parents are foreigners and the couple have children, they cannot have Japanese nationality.Therefore, in order for the child to stay in Japan as it is, it is necessary to obtain a visa. US is a birthplace-based nationality law, and Japan is a pedigree-based nationality law.
But no, it's possible Japanese nationality that children were born and then they grew up in Japan
@@SooKyung05estelle05sookyungx The child would have to prove significant ties to jape over years. There are other Asian people born in Japan and they don't even have Japanese citizenship.
