Thanks for watching!! GUESS WHAT! I have a new single coming out on the 22nd September! More updates coming :)
Your reaction in this are so very informative for us to understand ( some people don’t understand) your music theory for every Home Free and Voiceplay reaction.
I know and can’t wait!
One of the women who sometimes co-writes with Austin said she really appreciates being able to write for someone with great "vocal agility" and I do believe we saw what she was talking about in this one. His ability to riff is on par with Tim's ability to imitate a standing bass and Adam's beatboxing. Such a talented group of guys - a treasure to be sure.
It all vocals aerobics into melody and harmony.
All of them are astounding. They truly are a supergroup, thought they'd never think of it that way.
I just wish they had let us know who those talented fire dancers were.
They certainly brought the song to life.
My favorite one!! Austin is an incredible songwriter!! Smokin hot!! Lol!
Co-writer Ernie Halter is good at the baby-making music. I'm not surprised Austin let his hair down (figuratively) writing with him and Andrew to come up with this sultry number.
And then Adam's beatboxing arrangement with the double-time heart palpitations. And the little water drop sound at "pour ourselves another drink"! He adds so much, and he seems to be pulling out the stops lately.
Jen, their most sultry & sexy video (IMO) since their cover of Thomas Rhett's amazing "Die a Happy Man".....love this so much !!! The fire dancers was such a great idea too
This was the best reaction ever! Cant wait till you tell us how the concert went! These boys shouldnt be allowed to play with fire.
I LOVE when Jen gets flabbergasted cause she always goes super British and it always cracks me up 😂
I think it may be Austin doing that low part. It sounds like him. Thank you for the reaction.
I agree…I’m pretty sure it’s Austin singing the lyrics “left in me” where you said you didn’t know who it was. It sounds like it’s about as low as he ever sings.
Yep, almost positive it's Austin. Love it!
Yes, it's Austin
I do believe this has become my favorite HF song and that's going some. Our fellas just keep upping their game. Great reaction, Jen.
I really like this one! Adam, the complete drum kit showing out, Rob’s beautiful voice, Austin’s agility, and a beautiful dance by the 2 specialists!❤! Great job Jenn! If you want to see Adam and Tim show out watch the video they recorded that will be played during the video game! Skull and Bones! The video is longer than the live ! Low bass Kenneth!❤
Do you know who the fire dancers are? I have not seen their names in the credits.
No I don’t but they were beautifully artful!
I know one homefree song you should check out if you haven't is skull and bones they dropped a lyrics version and a live performance version of a song chance wrote for a video game with the same name. And they had to wait a whole year with this song secret because they were under contract not to tell anyone anything about it. So when they dropped it was a bit of a surprise a few months ago .
My most favourite off of the album!!! 😊
Less than a month to go 😅
They just released the last video off the So Long Dixie album called Remember My Name
One of my favorites from So Long Dixie. Great writing from Austin and his pals Jeffrey East, Ernie Halter and Andrew Tufano. Love the video, too. Soo moody and sexy. Yum. And another great Saturday morning with Jen!
Thanks Jen-great reaction. Austin's voice sure does emote the steamy love heat of this song.
As a person who is unable to make my voice sound melodic ever, I’m in a degree of awe of someone whose voice DOES sound pleasing to the ear when singing. And, Jen, your voice is pleasing to listen to, even when you’re just doing a single note at a time. This point, all by itself, is the reason why I so enjoy listening to your analyses.
Thank you☺️
Home Free vocal symphony orchestra blessing us with another masterpiece, visually, audio and again emotionally as well!
Thanks Jen 😊
This one is a sexy one 🔥🔥 Couldn't wait for you to react to this one 😁 thx Jen and congrats on your personnals achievements 😉❤️
That "Sound" is just impressive -- AMAZING!!! Appreciate ya Jen!!!! : ) Be Safe
Thanks Jen! 🔥🍟
This is my favorite of Austin's originals and of all the other amazing tracts on the "So Long Dixie" album. Rob starts us off with his sultry, smooth voice, and Austin steps it up to sexy while the guys hold it all together with their seductive harmonies and effects! Simply wonderful. As always, I learned a little more about vocal placements, ltogether with being totally entertained. Looking forward to your next drop and wishing you every success!
Thank you!
@@JenniferGlatzhofer: next: Remember my Name to react.
Nice job, Jen. Besides your analysis, your facial expressions are priceless! ❤
Always enjoy your reactions!
Of course the song, singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific - it's Home Free! The fire dancers are just amazing. I love the ending with Tim hypnotized by the flame and Chance & Adam literally playing with fire - adorable! How blessed is Home Free to have 3 song writers, 5 vocal chameleons & an incomparable beatboxer!
Great R&A! Also love your facial expressions during this video!
Great reaction & analysis. This is such a great original song! Rob & Austin do a nice job taking lead on this. Love the guys harmonies, Tim's bass & Adam's awesome vocal percussion. Also really like the video with the fire & the dancers.
Loved your reaction and continued success with all your endeavors.
I love the visuals where it looks like Adam is causing the heart to catch on fire and then Adam and Chance literally playing with fire in the outro
Hi Jennifer hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Loved your reaction Jen! I enjoyed watching you repeatedly be surprised by the song. This is certainly a sultry bluesy sort of song and I love it. As for the 12 original tracks on the album, Austin has 8 writing credits and Tim has 6 (they both are cowriters on 2 of the songs). They are amazingly talented songwriters as well as singers!
Hi Jen, great analyse to a great song
This is aBLAZEing your reaction in this,Jennifer Glazhofer. You are spitting or breathing Fire musically fact for us to learn from you. Keep in burning your other reaction from Home Free and Voiceplay 🔥. Musically teaching from you are keep me, personally are deeply inspired to be like you because I want to be deeply musically inspired like you.
I really love your analysis and personality Jen! You’re so much fun while enlightening us to the music. Some vocal gymnastics by Austin for sure. Adam killed the beatboxing too. Then the boys were playing with fire at the end. Ha! Austin and Tim write some good songs. Love this one. Loved the fire dancers too! 😍🥰🔥
So much talent. The vocals, the arranging, the composing... What can't they do?
I had been waiting to hear your reaction and analysis, and my you did not disappoint !!! Very entertaining and informative and truly enjoyable. I was waiting to see your expression when Austin did that growl followed by the high note, and it was great. Austins is becoming an exciting songwriter, love this song and their newest video. It is another Austin original and is tied for my first place with this song, "Remember my Name" is the newest video,
I believe I saw the "claws of joy" from you, Jen! They have released videos for every song on this album now. Unheard of when I was growing up:) Enjoy the show!
They are so creative, talented, funny, inspirational. I love your appreciation for them and your breakdowns & insight & analysis. Love from Florida ❤❤❤
Your analysis was so interesting and thank you for that. Also, loved your shirt and earrings! I cannot wait until you do the final one (Remember My Name) from the Road Sweet Road album. It has the most amazing beatboxing in it.
Of course it's the "Road Sweet Road" tour for the "So Long Dixie" album. Love it when artists name the tour after one of the songs rather than the album.
@@DiamondRioFan1I think they did that because So Long Dixie is one of the few on the album that has an instrument in it and, therefore, is not fully acapella
@@DiamondRioFan1 But thank you for correcting me, because you are correct that the album is So Long Dixie!
I believe that "left in me" is Austin echoing.
Rob's opening vocal = Sultry smooth........sensually warm, makes you want to cuddle on the couch with your signicant other......🌠🌜💓🔥🌌
Love how Rob started the song…so smooth! Then Austin steps in with his amazing vocals. Everyone did a fantastic job, on this song! Thanks for your analysis on this song, Jenn. I love hearing your reactions to Home Free😊 Much love from Alabama 😮 I love Home Free😊
Jen you've nearly finished the album videos but I think you still have to react to Might As Well Be Me (which is hilarious) and Remember My Name - looking forward to hearing your views on them.
So much (more) to appreciate than just the recognition "on the outside" (general). The talent within this group - each brings their own! - make 'em the rarity they are!!! Love it! Be Safe
Jen I watch a lot of reactions. This was the most fun I’ve had. You are a treasure. ❤
Fahhh is southern Appalachian for “fire.” ‘’To make a dugout kin-noo, First, you build yerself a fahhh.”
Another great reaction/analysis Jenn!
I hope you saw Tim staring fixedly into the flame there at the end. Like a pyro. It amuses me. :)
I would have like a smidge more in Robs first verse. Just a bit on the word ‘passion’ or ‘burn’.
Then it would be perfect.
This is just Most Excellent. 🔥
What a creative crew. Love your take on what's happening in these HF gems.
Great analysis. Thanks for that. 🙂
Jen, I love your shirt!
I like That halfway through the song you were looking like You are in pain trying to figure out what you're listening to.
Simply put, it's a song that you're supposed to feel in your groin by way of every other nerve in your body.
So much for “country”! … This has a 50’s-60’s soft jazz tone.
I don't believe that they have ever been strictly "country". They were labeled that way when they did the Sing Off.
Austin pretends to be a country songwriter but very little of what he wrote for So Long Dixie is at all country. I suppose it could be labelled adult contemporary, but whatever you call it, it's certainly interesting. This and Everlasting Ground make me think that soft jazz/ bluesy rhythms are his best areas, and rather than aiming to star on the Opry stage, he might do well to think of Buble-type concerts (not that he's at all like Buble), perhaps with someone like Makena Hartlin.
@@patriciamcl54 Austin has a degree in Musical Theater! Check out his solo cover of “Bring Him Home” from LeMiserable. ( not the live version, with Home Free, his solo version, at home, accompanied by a piano!)
His “Playing With Fire” has a very (to me ) 50’s jazz sound. I hear Mel Torme (the velvet fog) or a Jonny Mathis type. BEAUTIFUL! !
@@barbarakennedy2667: their music genre is mixed of country and blues.
@@barbarakennedy2667 I think they SELF-LABELED themselves as a “Country Band” at the beginning. Most of there early performances had a definite country sound. So glad they didn’t box themselves, and showed more of what they can really do.
I like your look today, Jen. (Not that I usually dislike it😉)
And as usual I enjoyed your analysis and was delighted by your reaction! Great song!
I think the unknown singer of "left in me" might have been Chance. (?)🤔
No, that's definitely Austin.
So glad you will get to see them live soon but I'm worried that you might explode from not being able to pause them!!!
Thank you beautiful ❤️
Jennifer! Catching up! Almost to the awesome Voiceplay week, though we got a great warmup with Drunken Sailor. Now let's see what Home Free has for us. Oh! Well the song title is Playing With Fire so it only makes sense that there would be actual fire! The woman is mesmerizing with her actions! Wonder if any hair was singed in the making of this song. 😁 You had multiple instances of "claws of joy" in this one! Awesome reaction and analysis as always Jen. 😊
Jen the influencer.. has been influenced by us southerners😂
❤yall🎉
😂😁
This song is beautiful 🔥
Would love it if you react to their cover of Try Everything if you haven't already Jennifer 🙂
Thank you Jen. I love this song.
The "left in me" ad-lib is Austin.
Ooooo... Rob is so buttery smooth! Almost has that soft, breathy Chance-like quality to his voice in this song. But Rob has a different tone than anyone. I didn't realize that this was an original piece by the group (Austin's work I believe), but I am impressed with the lyrics and arrangement. The up-and-down's at the beginning of the chorus is so jazzy. I dig it so much. And Austin can really roll those R's over and seems to give those words just an extra "oomph" that makes this piece really stand out to me.
I believe that mystery "left in me" was Rob filling in between Austin's lines. Albeit a very low Rob. (Did not sound like Chance or Tim)
(As an aside: have you ever reacted to any of the late Jeff Buckley's work? He was a great talent taken way too soon, but put out a myriad of wonderful originals and covers in the early-mid 90's, particularly from his album "Grace". I would recommend songs like "Lover You Should've Come Over", "Last Goodbye", or his 1993 rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah".)
Tim said in an interview that if Austin is singing and they need someone to go high, it’s usually Tim. Might have been with Peter Barber interviewing Tim.
Yes. That’s where I heard it.
Thanks, Jen! This may be my second favorite from the album.
Home Free is on Fire! Lol
I like to play with fire. Of course, that comes with being a firefighter. Speaking of fire, you really need to check out and react to Voctave’s cover of “Somewhere” from West Side Story.
Oh yes! I will😁
Great job
great analysis as always,i was pretty sure you would have alot to say about this song. I think all but one song on that CD was written or cowritten by them.I hope you have as much fun at their concert as i did.
Toy Story aliens at 13:34 "The CLAW... of Pure Joy!"
I love Rob´s voice
❤️🔥🥵❤️🔥
I am thrilled that you react and analyze what I call the big three a cappella groups, Pentatonix, VoicePlay and Home Free. I would love for you to listen to Rise (a Katy Perry cover) by Superfruit with Mary Lambert, BrianJustin Crum and Mario Jose. Superfruit is a duo consisting of Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi from Pentatonix. You will not be disappointed. The first few times I watched and listened, I got teary. It is so beautiful and the story behind their performance is touching. Love your channel.❤️
Thanks for this reaction. Yes, I have listened to "I'm Not a Fan" - every single day - hows the album release coming along?
22nd Sep, save the date! Something is coming!
First Voiceplay and now Home Free broke you 😅 You always give such fun and informative analysis of the songs. I'm always learn something new. Thanks Jen 😊
Haha yup! Thank you😁
Yes you can say that this song is fire! One of my favorites from the album or maybe even my favorite. How Rob starts so beautifully very quietly and then just like with fire the flames go higher and higher, so the song went through Austin here as well. The incredible harmony was of course also present here, just like the super bassline and awesome beatboxing. Wonderful was also the video with that couple playing spectacularly with the fire. Home Free actually looks very simple, but it is still beautiful. The dark with the light of the fire. Top! Here Home Free shows again that they really can sing anything.
Smooth as a fresh jar of peanut butter
Jen, just watched this analysis again and I think this whole song and these guys were so hot and sexy the first several times I watched that I couldn't think straight.😂 YOU helped me see the pure mastery of vocals this go round. These gents ain't playin'!
Kudos to the fire dancers 🔥! And those boys shouldn't be allowed to play with fire without adult supervision!
Great R&A! But you did surprise me with that very southern "y'all!" No complaints; y'all is a perfectly good word. And you're one of the few reactors who actually paid more attention to the song instead of the fire dancers. 😊
Some familiar names as co-writers on this one - Jeffrey East, Andrew Tufano and the great Ernie Halter. I can't help wondering if Ernie is responsible for the sultry feel. i believe most of the song was written when Ernie came to Nashville (he usually stays with Austin) and they sat down to finish it off. It might well have been the day when Amberly was trying to do a live for Superfans, with Ernie submerged half the time under 100 pound of dog, the cats were going insane, and Austin kept remembering things he wanted to talk to Ernie about. I get the impression that life chez Brown is slightly chaotic at times.
Great reaction. This is one of my favourite Home Free songs, though the video leaves a lot to be desired. The shots of the band are completely random and have nothing to do with the song's rhythm and development. Plus the woman doing the dancing looks really sour!
That low "nothing me" was Austin going low.
The lower register "left in me" I believe was Chance.
I think that low "left in me" was Austin double tracked.
I think that low area was Austin.
15:44 that is Austin doing the low left in me
You are just adorable
I think that low "left in me" is actually Austin. Sounds like it to me, anyway.
It seems you enjoyed this one just a bit? 😁❤
Is it possible that when you do the reaction to Pretty Woman, that you show the Sing Off version, first? I think it is a nice compare and contrast.
Do the live skull and bones 😊
I meant hear
15:38 low Austin Brown :)
Austin comes from Georgia and you can it.
is it Amberlee?
Please listen to new song by Diana Ankudinova the day you... High notes is highly
Time for a cold shower?? 😊
YOU BREAK UP THE SONG SO MUCH YOU MAKE IT DISCONNECTED FOR US
