I ran my Velos 762 on a 556 a bunch over two days at the East Coast Night Shoot last weekend. I’m very impressed. I’ve converted it and the rest of my SiCo cans to Rearden.
Did the same on my 762 Velos…excellent can and is literally the same length as my surefire 762 mini when paired with rearden..it’s like they were made for each other
I went with the Velos 762 and got a 5.56 endcap with internal flash hider which makes it more versatile and it works so well on all my 5.56 and 300 Blackout ARs.
Just got my second can and it only took 3 days. Got my first can last month and it took 4 days. Think I wanna buy another this weekend. It’s very addictive.
I'm at 6 in the last year. Keep going man. The more people like you and I the better chance we have at making them considered 'in common use' and the higher chance we have of getting them OFF the NFA restrictions one day.
@ I plan to get one more this year. The real issue now is stock and availability. The pickings are slim and in my experience buying one online and outside of Silencer Shop will cost me at least an extra c note+ in transfer fees. God how cool it would be if you could just walk into a shop and pick one out, pay for it and leave with it. Or buy a new firearm and pick out a new can for it on the spot. Hopefully someday!
Just wanted to stop by and thank you for the unimaginable amount of work that must have gone into supressfest this year. I got to go on the second day. That was by far one of the most radical things I’ve ever been to. My only complaints are 1) LMT leaving early so I didn’t get to see their booth/I don’t know if they got mad or something but their prize was garbage. I was praying someone would have the chance to win a MARS upper or a can or something. Instead a KeyMo mount? Common LMT y’all are my fav company, don’t do us dirty like that. 2) you didn’t draw my number for the dead air prize 3) I support my family on my income alone. I have a wife and 10 month old son. My dream has been a sandman s for 5 years and I have everything ready for it but no can yet. After going it’s all I can think about. It’s so bad! You guys put on a hell of an event! Excellent job!
I love both my 762 and 556 Velos cans, haven't tried the k model yet. They both sound very nice on my 10.3" 5.56 but the 762 lives on my LMT DMR since it's so gassy. Absolute gamechanger and they shit on huxworks performance
My only complaint about the Velos LBP and LBP 556k are that there is no such thing as a Charlie Atlas XL to create enough space for mounting on my P&W 14.5 with a long plan b muzzle device. The LBP 556k works great on my 16 inch and short guns that have normal plan b devices when using the Charlie Atlas though.
Good review. I have the VelosK and on a 11.5” gun it shoots massive fireballs every 3 to 4 rounds. Im curious to what ammo you are using during this review in the MK18. It was so bad on my 11.5” it now lives on my 16” gun. On the 16” it behaves well and is actually a lot quieter.
On the topic of blast baffle erosion - does using a brake rather a flash hider actually help? Is it really a 'sacrificial baffle'? I like to run flash hiders on all my 5.56 guns - especially the shorter ones - but have considered switching out to a jmac 360 hub brake on my 11.5 I basically only shoot suppressed just to save some life on my expensive can i run on it. I just really hate losing the flash suppression should I ever run it without the can. Edit: also - should I even be concerned given that the cans I use on that upper are made entirely out of inconel?
when are you going to introduce the world to the jaguar suppressors ? I actually ordered one from them as soon as I got home and I think Capitol will be carrying them
😮Damn, that MK18 in the intro has some carrier velocity, the jump reminds me of a direct blowback PCC. It seems this can added quite a bit of carrier velocity to both rifles, like roughly 4:00 to 2:30 on the 16" and 3:00 to 1:00 on the MK18. To be fair, looks like it doesn't blow nearly as much gas back at the user for the amount of added carrier velocity. Very interesting nonetheless. FYI, The weight and length that SiCo provided are w/o the mount I believe. They just don't note that next to the spec for 🤫some reason. A Velos LBP 556 is actually 18.74 oz and 6.75", for example.
I use my velos k on a 11.5 urgi with super 42 & H3 buffer and I'm getting perfect ejection, I spoke to SiCo about the fireballs because I was getting them with M193 they just told me it'll take time for it to disappear since the can is still really new
Me and my friend had a awesome time. Looking forward to next year.
Thank you from my family

Exactly why I haven’t ordered a Velos. Want to but probably getting an SRBS full size or compact.

How is the gas blowback on your 16”? I have a non adjustable gas block on a 16”, been on the fence with the Velos K.
After all these years, your hairline remains consistently intact!
Looking into getting one of these for my 14.5” RIS III build
I gotta make it 2025. I haven’t been yet!!! Thanks for all you do
Are you going to do a review on the dead air Lazarus?
Would love to see this vs the SRBS Compact!

Any plans to review the kac prt cans or the cat wb?
How is the flash?

They came to Suppressed Fest and man did they sound great! Thanks for reminding me to get a video going!
@nfareview yea I was super impressed
you like this or the b&t srbs more?

11:39 That was some big fireball.

I’m curious how the same 556 rifles will do with the 762 VELOS LBP.
@@philp411 currently reviewing it 🤘
Be cool if it sounded like the saker k with same back pressure as this
Metering 149 at the ear or muzzle?
Morando no Brasil.essas armas são apenas sonhos 😢
So does belt fed = full auto 🤔
Im curious how the muzzle flash is at night.
I have a VelosK and ran it on my 11.5” and it shoots fireballs. It now lives on my 16”
@@Rick-tp7hlAre you using a flashhider mount or muzzlebrake?
Direct thread
Compare it to huxwrx 556k
Better
Hmmmm…..for that price and sound, I might purchase the Fat Cat instead.
No CAT reviews?

I must be the only one who doesnt care about suppressors 😂 i bought one and realized what a waste of money theyre.
$1100 K can lol
This can really sucks compared to flow TI
Yeah I think huxwrx is definitely the top dog.
The flow ti is also nearly 2 inches longer
@@TheSugarWeasel93
Not the flow 556k
@calebclark6739 yeah and the 556k has a metric shit load of frp and really the Velos k probably isn't to bad next to it.
