While the Galaxy Fold is a phone that unfolds into a mini-Tablet. Then you have the processor, the battery, the storage; all far superior on the Galaxy Fold. No comparison here.
Yes facts I want something small that won't bother me the razr is ment to be use as a phone while the Galaxy is more of a device mobile gamers will use to play claw
Great vid from Jessica as always, for me they are just a bit gimmicky at the moment and the design doesn't seem mature enough yet, I get that manufacturers are wanting to rush these into the market but until someone can figure out a hinge mechanism that is dust proof (so stuff don't get underneath the screen and inside the hinges affecting the operation), whilst at the same time being able to fold out nice and flat I can't see it gaining much momentum. O and the prices are just bonkers!
Remember guys say you wouldn't spend more than a $100 bucks on any phone. These people want to know if you are willing to buy it for that price. Its like when you are interested in a car. You don't tell the dealer before you in love with the specific car because than they wont give you a deal. These people are sponsored by phone companies. See the bigger picture.
The Fold all day! I would never pay $1500 for any smartphone with low end specs like the Razr. Portability is a moot point, any device smaller than the smallest laptop or tablet is very portable! Yes I get it, it folds just like the Og Razr which I happened to own back in the day, you can even say it looks cool, but if you're just buying the Razr for those two things you seriously need to take a good hard look at yourself because at the end of the day it's not gonna make other people think you're cool and make them like you. Motorola is banking on these two things and nostalgia to sell the Razr and pricing it so high. If Motorola had priced it at no higher than $800 that would be reasonable for the folding technology and specs. Plus I hate the fact that at launch it will only be available to one carrier, I can't stand it when companies have exclusivity deals with another company, it doesn't help their sales it only hurts it, not every one is going to jump ship to another carrier especially if they're happy with the one they are already with just to buy said device. And yes I said low end not mid range specs, because if you want to talk mid range phones take a look at the Xiaomi's, Asus and One Plus of the world's with way better specs and more up to date versions of Android. Plus, no smartphone priced at $1500 dollars should be made with plastic on the exterior! By the time this phone gets released in 2020, other than that folding design the rest of the phone will be almost 2 years outdated.
The specs are pitiful for a phone at that price. It's already outdated before it even launches. The price is way too high for what you are getting. It's a Verizon exclusive which you didn't mention at all I don't believe. These reasons make it DOA for alot of people. I have the Galaxy Fold and it's awesome. No issues with it at all. People have been carrying around phones for years with no problems. So the Razr solves a problem that doesn't really exist. Of course you like the Razr. You've been pretty negative on the Fold in every mention of it. Oh well to each his own.

I think the concept of the Razr is more suiting to the general public than having a portable tablet in your pocket. With that said, I do not feel the feature is worth the $400+ price over the standard premium phone. I own a S10 now which is perfect for me (not too big). I cannot see paying almost twice as much just to fold a phone that already fits great in my pocket snd has top of the line specs.
wonderful Motorola Razr vs Samsung Galaxy Fold comparison and review. I think the Motorola Razr is a folding clam shell smartphone while the Galaxy Fold is a folding tablet. The Motorola Razr desisgn is very imaginative and will increase motorola sale.
Not getting the buzz around this thing. I upgraded to the Galaxy Fold a few weeks ago from a Note 10+. The device is mind blowing in every way, and has proven very durable. See the drop test here on RUclips. I'll add that for $500 more than the RAZR, you're getting a fully usable exterior OLED screen, and an interior folding screen that's massive compared to the Moto. The specs are also vastly superior to the RAZR. 6 cameras, 512GB storage, 12GB ram, Samsung DEX, much faster processor, and super-easy to type on, particularly with the screen open. I'll add that the Kindle app on this OLED folding screen is incredible. So my Kindle Oasis is no longer necessary. It replaces a tablet as well, so you won't need that either. It also comes with Samsung's very well reviewed Galaxy buds. So the $500 difference to get a much smaller phone with sub-par specs? Ok. The RAZR, though cool, seems like a gimmick. You can use any of a dozen quality 6-6.8" screens from Samsung, LG, and others.

2500 battery is bummer for $1500 phone else Moto Razar looks good
I wouldn't mind buying it now for $1,000 without the 1 year free replacement screen warranty for $299.
That $1,499 price tag though 😖 ouch
@@beezrow also at this price they should have provided flagship specs like top end processor
Lol and the snapdragon 710 and the single camera. Mid range specs at $1500 is insane
Was able to score a Fold for $1400 on eBay and I’m absolutely obsessed.
Motorola is The ❤️
I like the way the razor is symmetrical when closed. That's about it
Why compare these two phones??? You're comparing a Rolls to a Volkswagen. Two different devices... Not in the same category.
There is NO comparison here to be made, other than the fact that they both have OLED screens. The folding aspect is not comparable. The Razor is a big watch that unfolds into a phone. While the Galaxy Fold is a phone that unfolds into a mini-Tablet.
Then you have the processor, the battery, the storage; all far superior on the Galaxy Fold.
No comparison here.
Watching this on my Galaxy A10e while I save up for the Galaxy Fold before 2019 is over!
“2 batteries = less efficient than 1 large one of equivalent capacity”. Says who? What evidence to support your claim?
Someone should do a “using the original v1 in 2019”
Love the rzr design. Its so nostalgic but lacks in tech for the price point.
Galaxy fold comes loaded but is a huge phone.
Galaxy Fold makes waaaay more sense.
There is no point in folding a 6inch screen which can already fit into the pocket as is.
Fashion isn't about sense. The Razr just looks way better.
The difference is pretty clear and the galaxy is more useful.
I think the razr is far more practical however. It depends on what you want in a phone. I want something compact.
O and the prices are just bonkers!
well there's nothing like real world testing!
The size is in my pocket
The price is not in my pocket.
One is a tablet/phone hybrid and the other is just a phone.
As someone who remembers a time when phones have a small form factor, I'll take the Razr over the Galaxy Fold. If I want a tablet, I'll use a tablet.
I am more interested in the Microsoft foldable Android phone.
Awesome review 🙌🏾 thank you!
Yes this is future in present . but we use this in future😂 (bcoz of the price)
I'll go for razr...its looks so sexy and so cool..and also more practical
How is that practice? An already portable phone but folded in half
Sexy? I bet u would do robots...
Gives the razor an edge... ✌️
*Edge for what? For horrible design and low specs?*

Edge - I cut my throat open while shaving with - razor..
@@bonnyminz8700 damn...
The foldable Samsung is just a more portable tablet, while the Motorola is a phone phone. I will take the Motorola over the Samsung
I vote for the Galaxy Fold🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Nah you can't do anything with it
@@bargullileanis2851 Being able to pocket an entire tablet sounds like something to me though
@@bargullileanis2851 ok boomer
@@GarabDragenji if you are willing to use it it's okay but I think it's still like a prototype just Samsung wanted to push it so it become the first who gave a flodable phone but the razr is a well finished product you fell confident doing anything with it

Fold is a lot more useful.
Razr has no crease.
*looks at thumbnail*
How long are this lady's arms?
RaccoonBrigade lol
She's very hot if she would occasionally show off that body more often
You know what they say about ladies with long arms😁
Longer than mkbhd
10:19 is the moral of the story.
Regards to your reviews of the Razr and the Fold, I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy Fold not just because I have the item, it's because it gives you more options, as worth of $1,500 I don't think it's worth it, to purchase a $2000 phone as of the Samsung Galaxy Fold it's worth the price and more useful.
Motorola got everything right, and on their first try too.
They didn't got the price right
Yes, they nailed it so hard that launch has been delayed, most likely long enough for Samsung's second foldable (Bloom) to beat it to market. Hello moto...goodbye moto...
@@davidalexander9248 don't even make sense
My first foldable phone was Nokia Communicator 9300 and to this day I still like it, not as a main but like a little gadget and something that brings back memories
Who would let a 2000 dollar phone partially hang out their pocket? That should've been a con
I would prefer Motorola but its price is too high
So the folds price isn't?
I'll be lining up for pre-order on the Razr. Never thought 10 years ago when I put my old Razr away in the drawer that it would have a future sibling. I wanted the Fold so bad until....it was released and I could see it would be a monster to carry in your pocket. I have a S8+ & it's too big too. In 2021, I'll get the MS Surface Duo, but for now, it's hello Moto! See you early 2020.
Strange I find the S8+ too small
Im currently using a Note 10+ and its fits perfectly in my bigfoot hands
I might give up the iPhone 7 plus for a Razr as Motorola loved my original Razr
2:37 Wear more practical pants and carrying phones is a breeze :) Super tight jeans are irritating imo, too restrictive!
Rennie Ash But skinny jeans just looks better and more trendy tho sometimes i wear bootcut skinny jeans also kinda like the ones drake would wear in drake and josh from the 2000s with a pare if slip on vans
iDonte Perfect depends who thinks it looks better. Who are you trying to impress anyway? I’d rather more comfortable pants with pockets than tight jeans . I think other pants can look great too. In fact sometimes skinny jeans makes people look funny and not in proportion because they also have big jackets on :)
Rennie Ash For me it’s not that I’m trying to impress anyone I’m just really into fashion especially 2000s and 80s fashion My dream is to be a male model when i get older I won a model search competition last year but i stoped to focus more on my school work but now that I’m about to graduate next year I’m hoping I can get signed to Kate Moss modelling agency
iDonte Perfect I guess that makes sense :)
Watching This On My LG G8X Dual Screen While Texting On My Galaxy Fold! 👌🏾
I watch tech videos without ever having any plan to buy either product.
I actually love the razr. I'd buy it if I had the money.
How about Razr vs the new 16 inch MacBookPro?
Anyone else notice Aly & A.J. at 2:09?
Talk about nostalgia!!
I'll buy one when they fold the price in half 🙌🙌
Why don't you do the folding test? Samsung Galaxy folds are foreign companies, but Motorola is its own company? that's the reason?
4:09 Woah. hold on now. The ENTIRE screen lifts up? WTF
Well the Razr is back. Finally a phone of the past but a feel of the future. Something refreshing other than iPhones
Samsung's design makes more sense in a note perspective had they included a S Pen. The razr makes more sense in a conventional phone perspective... But no way am I paying 1500 for a SD 710
I wish samsung thought of using the Razr's design, they would have done it better (spec wise) 😭. But still, IMO the Razr still has a better overall look, design, and it seems far more practical for normal everyday use.
@@zzdesolatezz agreed but for 1500, I'll say underspeced and won't even consider
How can you compare two phones in terms of features not considering the fact that one has almost only 1/3 of the room in x,y, and z?
this comparison is irrelevant.
Huawei Mate X vs Galaxy Fold.
Thats what we are waiting for.
Dronzrock how is it irrelevant?
Your wrong buddy it's more like Huawei vs Motorola Supra 7 which can actually compete and it's only 150$ while this stupid razr is 1500
@@Tom-xy9gb both phones are meant to be used in different ways. One as a tablet sized phone and the other as a normal phone that is super compact. Razr is a pure phone where as Galaxy fold can even be considered as a new category in the tech world.
It will be mine. Razor was my all time favorite phone.
Guys finally I managed to buy my razr
The 2004 version
you dog i c what u did there
😂😂
I absolutely love small phones and have missed the flip phone design since the iphone first came out and changed everything. When I first saw folding screen technology, the razr is exactly what popped in my mind, and I'm so so glad it became a reality. It's just a shame I'm way too poor to get one lol
cLamshell fold from samsung with better design n specs is coming too
I waited. A couple of years to get the note4 and paid $700 and I still have it,being on disability and fixed income Samsung has lost me at $2000 unless I don't pay my rent or buy food for a month😥.
I think Motorola wanted to play safe for the first iteration and the next gen will go all out, which they have too coz nostalgia will wear off.
Huh?
Play safe with mid specs and high end price? What is safe about it? XD
Watching on my Moto g5+ use to have the Moto G1 it was my favorite a fell in a lake with it and it didn't break.
I think I prefer the galaxy fold to benefit from having both a phone and tablet
Coming from an Apple fan.... I’ve had the razor and my first smart phone was a Samsung, also love Samsung.... stuck with Apple since 2010, but the razor was by far my favorite phone ever made. I will get one, they nailed it.
Razor is a phone I would never buy because of the : SOC , camera and screen.
Now all we need is for blackberry to make a come back 🙌
wonderful Motorola Razr vs Samsung Galaxy Fold comparison and review. I think the Motorola Razr is a folding clam shell smartphone while the Galaxy Fold is a folding tablet. The Motorola Razr desisgn is very imaginative and will increase motorola sale.
Galaxy fold is value for money moto is overpriced but cool
Idk about value for money...
$2200 is value for money???
