Should NASCAR race here more often?
Yes 100%
I say so, this is probably the best road course for stock cars in the country with the exception of Watkins Glen
Without a doubt
@@MrJohansen Watkins Glen is without a doubt the best road course on the schedule in my opinion
Yes
I do enjoy Nascar ovals, but man when I see these type of road course racing, its truly something else, love it. Nascar should do a lot more road courses in the season.
Chase Elliott: Hippity Hoppity Another brand new Road Course is my property
Spoilers
I approve
Honestly some people try to say he’s lucky because there’s more road courses than what Jeff had, but chase has to learn all the new tracks. Jeff had a lot of time to know how to dominate two tracks. Chase has to do multiple and that takes skill
Chase Elliott is the next Jeff Gordon
Lmao you get that josh dub video 😂 or no he said bippity boppity woman are property
5:10 "OH GOD NO, THAT'S A TEAMMATE!"
Congrats to Chase Elliott, raced good and smart. Especially from starting in the back, He earned it!
Don't spoil the winner in your comments
Happy to say i was there for my first nascar race and also first time at RA. It was insane in thunder valley
Go for IMSA weekend in August. Alot more fan activities, driver/fan interaction, and better racing
@@justjon9180 planning on it :). If not this year then when LMDh is introduced
@@nickford13 Bring a backpack. I usually end up going home with about 5 free t-shirts and other giveaway freebies. Sunday is gridwalk with a driver autograph session before the race
Yes monster race congrats Chase elliott
Would have liked to see more highlights.
Check out the extended highlights
The next gen cars are gonna be awesome to watch on these road courses...
Also, WTF Bowman???
Brakes went out. He tried to avoid Larson, but I think it was too late to pull of into the run-off area.
It was just a racing incident he didn't do it on purpose.
Road America 🇺🇸 🤘
Chase has now won the first race at Daytona RC, COTA, and Road America. Indy up next on the list!
They raced on this track in the 1950s. Tim Flock won it. So Chase id technically the 2nd winner
@@123456789colton nope, don't ruin it for me lolol
@@dillonknudson3820 sorry man 😂😂😅
So…Kyle Larson gets fired for racist remarks….bubba Wallace becomes the talk of the town for the “greatest season ever”….Kyle Larson wins all the races, and bubba can’t get a top 15 without all the other cars in front of him wrecking…
Is this some kind of irony or is it deeper than that?
How long you been waiting to get that out? What does that have to do with Road America? Go back in your cave.
YEAH CHASE ELLIOTT WON THE RACE! THAT IS THE BEST ROAD COURSE RACE EVER!
I always call the shot road courses with chase elliott
Imagine if Larson was having good luck this year
?
Seriously. He's muscled his way through with terrible luck this year
?
That would be scary. He is not even having the best luck he could and is still second in points barely. Hamlin has not had the best luck with her though. Surprised he has still not won this year.
It’s fake
I got to say with a new car coming next year road courses are going to be that much more exciting
See how you save you're stuff and you win at the end
Would've loved to be there but was at the SRX race in Lucas Oil instead. Maybe next year.
What a race caution and chase illot first win of the season
So glad I was in person to see my favorite non retired driver win
I love elliot because he won the championship 4 and he is good in road courses
king of the road courses geez
Great looking course!
Absolutely 100% especially since I only make a point of watching NASCAR when on road courses.
YES!! Next year we'll see dramatic low fuel battles
I’d like to point out that the least funded and supported driver in the race and his nascar debut, Ryan Eversley, probably drove the best race of any RWR driver to date before mechanical troubles. Hope he gets redemption someday. Stand up dude and nicest guy you’ll ever meet.
I need to build a track in 🇨🇦
There’s already quite a few that the Pintys cup runs. Would be cool to see the cup series become a fully North American thing rather than just American
@@antoniocostantinoracing They need a Cup Series Mexico date and a Cup Series Canada date imo
NASCAR should go back to Montreal, this time with the Cup Series.
NO MATTER WHAT HAMLIN DOES HE CANT WIN A RACE MAYBE SOON OR TRY A CHEVY ...... GO GET EM CHASE NICE WIN
Worst decision nascar made was to get rid of JULY DAYTONA RACE 𝕨𝕥𝕗
I sort of agree, but this could make a great new tradition. This city really gets into NASCAR and racing. They have been big into Indy Car and sports car racing for years.
Get over it
Times change and NASCAR has to change.. The move to RA on July 4th is going to be one of the being races on the schedule. NASCAR is looking for a new audience in order to.grow. NASCAR is a business. Change or die.
King of the road! Jeff Gordon won 9 road courses, now Chase Elliott has won 7 road courses. I'm not sure if that's correct. (Reply if corrections needed)
Hey Dawsonville GA. LET THE SIREEN BLARE!!!!!!!!! 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
You are correct. Tony won 8. Chase has more races to do it, but he also has more tracks to do it at.
@@ethanweeter2732 thank man, I'll make sure to keep note of that. 👍😎🏁
Correct. Three more wins and he'll pass Gordon
@@kylethompson2109 yeah I hope so 😎
Anyone who thinks Chase Elliot is better then Jeff at road courses is under 18 years old, not a chance.
Hey I can see myself
How many fans were on track today?
100 000
Compared to anything else that goes there it was packed
Probably one less than Tour de France if signs are the measurement device
@@clutch10001 man that's alot
This track is way better than Cota the glen is the only place that’ll compare

I’m glad they finally came back to Wisconsin and I’ve NEVER seen Road America more ELECTRIC. Too bad that road racing doesn’t translate into good tv unless it’s raining. Obviously the state of Wisconsin is trilled NASCAR finally figured out where and how to draw a large audience. That same audience will show up at State Fair Park right smack in the middle of a heavily populated metropolitan area where track is tied into a State Fair that draws huge crowds and the track has a history that is matched only by Indianapolis. Buy the track from the fools that have control and….1. rake in the money….2. Promote history of racing…3. legitimize the other racing series that race their with YOURE CUP presence. .
Road America seems to be doing fine as an independently owned track.
@@ethanweeter2732 I’m talking about buying the MILWAUKEE MILE from the crooks who have mismanaged it and race during state fair in August. It’s 40 miles from Road America and it WILL SELL OUT. Road America’s obviously just fine
Why is fox showing nbc highlights?
Because only way to do so and NBC dose same when fox has the broadcast
My boy kyle busch got 3rd yessir🔥
When it was time for him in driver introductions all of turn 5 booed no joke
@@dairylandsportswi All of Turn 7 booed too
Imagine if he was in a Hendrick car lol it would be like the Xfinity series.
He is the hottest driver next to Larson maybe.
@@zumptt I don’t really think so. Gibbs was dominant in 2019 and he only won one like 5-6 races. He can dominate, but he loses a lot of races with his aggression. Just like Dale in that regard.
Other than jgr chip ganassi was the only other team to have more than one car in the top 10 Chase Elliott was the only hundred car and then Chase briscoe was the only shr the only Penske car was Matty d and then there was Tyler Reddick represent Richard childress and then both can ganassi and all four jgr cars
There were really only 2 cars maybe good enough to win most of that race and they both started from the rear.
Woohoooo my man
These are much more enjoyable so by all means run these road courses. Don't oversaturate them though, don't want them to get too stale or abandoned the Oval Fans, or what's left of them.
I sort of agree. 6-7 a year is a perfect number. Probably 6. Don’t want guys being hired just to run road courses.
Pole winner got 33rd and this highlight video shows 0% of how that happened. nice job fox.
@@eightyfournd8855 the youtube channel is nascar on "FOX" and the time you linked was cindric and not byron. nice try though mate. appreciate the comment.
Can’t y’all race on the 4th of July that didn’t matter what day of the week was
Nascar don't want to
Larson got shafted.
Who 'shafted" him?

Can we have every race be a road course?

Why in the world is NASCAR here on Independence Day?
Cuz they scheduled a race today, sounds self explanatory.
Why not? They ran the FIRECRACKER 400 at Daytona on the holiday weekend for years.
Probably the worst road race I’ve seen in 16 years, pretty much a tie with COTA
Road course racing is boring. It's like watching the grass grow

Lol and there goes chase right by where we were gonna meet him 😂😂
One of the best views I've ever seen of a pass for the lead is the front camera view from Elliot inches from Busch, looking at the rear underside of Busch's car as Elliot pulls out for the pass. Where's the replay of that pass !
There was uprising and downfalls but overall a Hendrick car won
They’re winning so much to the point where even I’m suspicious if they have something in the cars
@AISUYU Would that be considered breaking the rules, or just bending them?
If u ain't cheating u ain't winning..I'm sure 50 percent of the feild have atleast 1 small thing they cant have
@@bamsbro97 Then again Chad Kanus As always figured out a way to bend the rules to an extent to make those Hendrick cars what they are today
LOL Nah just too good
@@JJA1987 I mean I’m not saying they’re cheating even I’m a little suspicious at this point
Luckily my boy got a good finish
Hmmmmmm…… NASCAR on Fox, yet the NBC Peacock logo is in the top right corner of the screen, and the race was broadcast on NBC Network. Hmmmmmmmmmmm…..
This looked like a great race all around. Excited for them to return.
Super long straightaways virtually zero passing in the top 15, what was exciting?
30 year NASCAR fan. This track is a great addition to the season. And also a bucket list track to attend.
road Americaでカップシリーズが行われるのいつぶり?結構珍しいよね?
Because of what happened to Larson today, the winless Hamlin actually _keeps_ and _extends_ his overall points lead.
He is just always there when anyone else makes a mistake. Not gonna lie, it would be really cool seeing him win the regular season championship. Consistency and staying out of trouble (albeit pretty much all of Larson's troubles have come from bad luck this year) is paying off huge for Mr. Dominos Pizza.
Larson has had terrible luck. Where would he be if he htas that golden horseshoe.
Nice pizza burn man.
#9 is a beast on lefts&rights
Once again stage 1 and 2 gave me a hope then stage 3 takes it away
Chase is on the case!
Instead of calling this track and other road courses Johnsonville, they should call them Dawsonville or Chaseville.
The track is not called Johnsonville. Just an ad the pay for on a pedestrian bridge.

That's tough. As clean as Larson has raced Bowman and he drives in a nails Larson. I guess that's one way to beat Larson.
It was reported Alex said he had no brakes
Clearly had no brakes
I think nascar is fake now Bc Toyota’s dominated 2019 fords dominated 2020 now chevys are only winning that kinda weird
Hahaha
Toyota Chevy and Ford have their speed secrets and nascar eventually catches and it takes a bit to find the next big thing. Lately it was just the new body styles they came out with were just plain better in terms of speed
@@carelesswhisper369 well think about it
How does that make it "fake"? You make no sense.
@@ellisjames7192 it does make sense you don’t
At this point just give the Hendricks drivers the championship and send them home. Let the rest of the teams compete for competition. This is so boring. Why hasn't nascar changed the aero package like they did on toyota and ford if they won too much in a row?????
Bruh you want them to change the package mid season????????
@@rybar928 lmao
@@rybar928 A couple of years ago the Fords won everything so they changed it in friggin' April. Nascar wants parity ya know. LOL
I mean Hendricks been the best car for 15+ years this isnt new.
They waited until after last year to change aero on Ford actually. They just took away 11 counts of downforce, which I think meant under 100 Lbs of downforce maybe, could be wrong though.
