We have to show victory lane again. Cut off as he pulled in, to me that’s unacceptable. It’s historically an iconic part of the sport. Somebody has to speak up about this.
I will say, because they are stopped out on the front stretch, they get to celebrate with the fans for you get to be up close with them. If they go to victory lane, the fans in the stands can't get that close. They can only squint or listen. Here, with the stoppage on the front stretch, they can get up close and personal. And those tickets near the start finish line, will sell more because with the pretty good chance of getting on TV being there, more people will want to sit at the proverbial "50 yard line" for Nascar.
I miss the “hat man “ the spraying of the bottles! The full team on cameras!! It’s a team sport and doing a one on one on the front straight takes away from the team aspect!
I think Kurt Busch is about the most criminally underrated driver of all time. He's shown he can win in about any car and any track, and at 44 he's shown he can still wheel it.
I hated him in (LOL) 2004 or so but ever since he left Penske he's been a Legend and its just been a legendary season after another ever since, such a solid run. Im rooting for the 23 and the Haas cars these days but i gotta say it 45 > 4
Really happy for Kurt to get this win with this team. He's been around a long time and has REALLY matured as a person, driver and even ambassador for the sport/cup series. One of my favorite guys to pull for these days and I would've never said that 10 years ago or even longer. He stayed humble after that tumultuous mid-point of his career, but when SHR picked him up and gave him a real shot again, I've been following him every step of the way. Kyle Larson is my dude, would've loved to see him win but this is the next best thing.

The low profile tires are the only bad thing about it. And it’s REALLY bad unfortunately. Either Goodyear needs to learn how to make a durable low profile racing tire or they need to go back to the old ones. If that gets fixed the racing would be even BETTER than it already is.
Why do they only show the wrecks an cautions in the highlights? Yes, people tune in to see the wrecks, but on “highlights” you’d think they’d show some good battles that occurred during the race instead of caution after caution.
Truex seems to have a fast car this season but hasn’t been able to piece it together to get a win yet this season. Seems every week when he starts gaining then a caution comes out or something happens to his car. Very happy to see a top 10 finish today
Byron. Chastising won twice at COTA after a dirty move and at Talledega after actually hitting Larson. Byron Dominated both Atlanta and Martinsville, he is leading the most laps, beating Chastain in points, and is a top 10 driver every week, but with a bit of bad luck he is always knocked down a few pegs.
For people blaming GoodYear tires stop being a moron… Before this generation of cars they used more lug nuts and wheels didn’t come off as much only if the lugs weren’t tightened correctly. We are only using 1 lug nut and teams could be under tightening it or the 1 lug nut is an issue all together. This is gonna happen with any tire so save your time and shut up.

Guntherthegoat17, evidently you don't know much about NASCAR. Such finishes have been happening many times since NASCAR's first race in 1949. Logano wasn't the first. Byron was all over the track while trying to block Logano's much faster car. Byron could've finished 2nd but ended up 13th instead.
These cars with the left rear tires blowing are starting to drive just like the cars in Iracing(without bad tires), when driving off of the corners, they can be super loose and spin fast
Even though I'm not a fan of Denny Hamlin, and it took a while for me to like Kurt Busch (probably around the time he left Roush I've more or less began to tolerate him), I've been a fan of the 45 for a long time and was looking forward to Adam Petty died (since I still remember when Adam Petty died), and glad to finally see it in Victory Lane for the first time since May 30, 1964 when it was driven by LeeRoy Yarbrough at Greenville. Going into this season I'm glad to see the 45 get it's first Top 5 since 2007 (with Kyle Petty driving), so congrats to 23XI, Kurt Busch, and the 45 legacy.
