I haven’t tried this with oil yet but if you do try to go by weight. use only 80% of the weight that’s in the recipe otherwise it will be too oily if you use the full amount.

This is cool but what's the point of making an eggless cake? Butter and milk are still used so it's not vegan and I would think a scenario where you REALLY need a cake but are only missing eggs is rare.

Have you thought about replacing the greek yogurt with powdered milk for the protein part?
Yep...square or rectangle cakes are so hard to get sharp corners on with non-crusting buttercream.

You can but sugar is not just for sweetness, its also for texture. It may make it a little drier but you should try! :)

There is a mistake in the recipe on the web site.
In the wet ingredients it says to add salt and then later in the dry.

if someone is allergic eggs this would be a good recipe for a cake that they could eat
there are people that are called "vegetarians"
as someone with an egg allergy, this is kind of offensive. We can't eat most baked goods that are found bakeries.
