Omg this cake is so fluffy and delicious!!!!! I didn't think I would find an eggless cake as the last one I tried was soooo stodgy and dense. ❤ thank u so much MK you one of my go to channels when I'm thinking of cake!!! I did use Greek yoghurt as I didn't have anything else and it came out perfect! Is there a reason u put not Greek yoghurt on the ingredients? As I will try with regular yoghurt next time!
So so happy to hear you enjoyed the recipe :D and the reason for stating that is that Greek yoghurt has a different fat percentage than regular yoghurt so can sometimes throw off the balance of the cake. Most of the time it should be okay but I just put that note there as a precaution :)

Mine was a little dense at the bottom...I didn't use the two cake tins, I put in one cake tin. The top of the cake was great and bottom was cooked, just a little dense. What does this mean? Not cooked enough or mixed incorrectly?
Hi there :D Thanks so much for trying the recipe! Unfortunately you can't put all the batter into one cake tin otherwise it won't rise properly which is what seems to have happened in your case :) you can place it in one tin if it's a larger cake tin, otherwise it'll be best to half the recipe if you only want to make one 8 inch cake :) hope that helps!

This in fact is the best eggless Vanilla cake. It turned out super moist and soft. Also as she suggests, use the gram measurements instead of cup. It makes a LOT of difference! Thank you for the recipe ❤
I would really like to see your version of egg-less chocolate cake. I've tasted someone else's egg-less choc cake and it tasted much better than the eggy one.. Also I notice you bake a lot of your cakes with the fan assisting. Some bakers say that the fan is a cake's nemesis!
I've never tried an eggless chocolate cake but definitely something I want to try soon :D and haha so yes there is definitely truth to that, but it's fine to use a fan assisted setting as long as you know how to adjust the temp. So with fan assisted you HAVE to drop the temp which is why I bake my cakes at 160 and not the conventional 180 :) but a fan assisted oven at 180 would be far too hot for a cake! Maybe I'll do a video on it soon :)

Also, i had to bake for over an hour at 160 degrees in fan mode as i baked the entire portion in one pan. Is that right? Hi MK… I made the 8” cake and is now my all time favourite…now if I wanted to make a 14” cake would I double the recipe?
I don’t have a microwave and heated the combo on double pot method.
