Neal is on fire at the moment. Top class stuff. You're biting on his heels as well these days, John. Great course. Also looking much trimmer John. The juicing is paying off!
Thank you for your kindness my friend. Neal actually said when I met him that he needs to lose a bit of timber himself otherwise I might end up smaller than him lol
Great piece. Very intrigued about some of the backstory behind how they built the greens....they seemed to play fast but fair which is hard for a synthetic install
Thank you very much David. The wind was howling out there too but I can fix much of that on the audio so it wasn’t always noticeable to viewers how tricky the conditions were.
I will say that’s it’s often the weather that plays tricks on you out there at Gwelanmor because the beautiful Potreath Cove is just down the road so it’s a bit of a wind tunnel effect at times.
The greens are very very tricky tk work out Simon depending on the way the artificial grass has been brushed I believe. Super fast sometimes and super slow the other direction lol
Good to see you back playing together lads , you do bounce off each other very well which makes a great watch . Is Neal still doing the 4 by 40 as not been able to watch regularly of late
Hi there Craig. We will endeavour to do an update with Neal very soon about this series. Life has got in the way a lot in recent months and of course the serious weather issues we are having haven’t helped either but we will continue the series when we are able to do so.
thanks to Gwel an Moor for their hospitality. a fantastic course that you need to experience. most of us may not get to ever play Pebble Beach or Royal Troon, but you can get close to them with holes and the inspiration behind them.
I think I would struggle to break par on that course if you started me on the edge of each green lol, also that 17th from Sawgrass, so difficult to get it to stop on the green.
Played here today after watching your video, really nice little course but greens are shocking, weeds, goose shit and generally shocking to play on, won’t be going back.
That’s very interesting Michael. The videos we did at Gwelanmor were some time ago and I have asked a couple of times about going back but not had a chance to do an update. I may be wrong but I think they have had an ownership change. But I will certainly find out for myself now. I know that the course was closed for quite some time in the winter for, so they say, revocations… hmm
As always we had great fun playing golf here at Gwelanmor and look forward to coming back soon
Well done boys, that was very enjoyable👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Those artificial greens looked very hard to play on but still good fun.
Honestly my friend it’s a unique place and something I always people should at least try once in their golfing life x
Nice to see that little course again. The roll on that 8th green will break many a players heart....or putter 🤪⛳
Honestly we don’t know if it was the wind, the plastic green or a slightly slopped area or a combination of both but it was funny x
Thanks for reminding me how those greens are, playing there Sunday so good timing 👍👍
It’s always fun and always unpredictable lol
Great to see Neal back on the channel again.
He is a good man but very busy now so it’s good to fit around him when I can for filming.

@@BIGOGGIEGOLF I did notice! Great stuff as always and love whenever I see a post from Big Oggie World.

What a super vlog. Very enjoyable.
You both played well on a very quirky course.
Thank you very much David. The wind was howling out there too but I can fix much of that on the audio so it wasn’t always noticeable to viewers how tricky the conditions were.
Well done guys, I remember when Alfie played here and struggled with the greens for putting.
Oh they are certainly a challenge at times my friend x
Now that was great fun to watch and in seriously windy conditions too. Well done lads.

Love the idea of Gwelanmore and would def like to try it out! But those greens are a tad fast 😂

Looks like a great place to play fun golf ❤
It’s a tough track and always a challenge but yes some relaxing golf and having fun with a good friend is what life is all about.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and they have done a grand job of recreating the classic holes in a unique way.

Hi there Mark, it’s a very tough place to play golf but if you just enjoy it for the unusual experience then it’s well worth the effort.
Great stuff, lads.
Thank you my friend x

Yay first today lol. Wow playing on plastic greens must be fun at times.
It’s a lot of fun and just a little bit different. Everyone should give it a go when in the area. It’s a very unusual experience
I’ve heard that they have a great hotel / holiday complex as well. Would be good to see this as well as they’re other facilities x
I am speaking to them to see if we can go and do a Review
The St Andrews hole 🙃
