Thanks for saving the tortoise Tolya!
My husband also does the same thing with turtles and snakes.
Ooh I love that arched wall window. It’s insane anyone would plaster over it
Yes, it's so cute! I'm still wondering why they did that🤷🏻♀️
I was wondering the same thing. It's so charming!
@@VictoriaTerekhina it’ll make a nice reading area. Or put it a large curved window, it’ll bring in plenty of light into the room.
@@VictoriaTerekhina I think they might have favoured doing that instead of the whole outside wall, and risked the window in the process. Because of the hole in the outside wall you can see on the bottom left.
Probably to keep it warmer inside
Tell Tolya to wear protective glasses and a mask, please! Great job! :)
Yes & always wear mask
we keep telling them but they don't listen, it's concerning 😕
And hearing protection, unless you want to hear a beep in your ears for the rest of your life!
@@jj-if6it - Because young men never stop and think about consequences. They believe they're infallible and laugh and brush off everyone's advice and warnings. Years from now when they're dealing with chronic respiratory issues they certainly won't be laughing and will kick themselves for being so negligent and flippant with their health.

Vika!!!!! Wow, this is amazing to see the process of Tolya (almost single handedly) renovating your home. I know that all of you are participating in this fantastic adventure, but I have to admit that Tolya's efforts have been inspiring. Keep going, it is looking great!!!!!
My favorite part is Toyla saving the tortoise.
The house is really starting to progress!
I just love how Tolya is keeping a curious and humorous outlook on this project. The next time I get overwhelmed with a project I’ll be trying to be more like Tolya.
Me too!
So nice to help the turtle!😊You are a good man.
Excellent work, Tolya and Paul. Watch your health with all that dust .
I'm so worried that he isn't wearing a mask!
@@silentraindropsfell agreed. so many people keep recommending for him to. It's quite dangerous.
They seem such sensible people wonder why they don't listen to advice surprised the people in the shop didn't advise him on wearing things to protect himself strange
Thank you Tolya for helping the tortoise 🐢
I am so loving watching this process of your dream home coming together. This was a brilliant idea to record it for RUclips. Also, your children will love watching it in years to come to see how hard Tolya and your friend worked. You are going to have great neighbors! Sending 💓💓💓 to you all.
Hi Vika, poor Tolya. You are working so hard for your ladies. You are a very good character. Thanks to your friend helping out as well. Guess after you finished you wil be experts and may be hired form others for help. Crossing my fingers for you that everything will be finished once very well. CU
I pray for these hard-working men! It is very interesting to watch this transformation
Very sweet of the neighbor to give something to eat 🥧
My daughter and I are self-taught remodeling flippers here in the U S. So I have the highest admiration for your husband. I would be happier if he wore a mask. When those walls come down goodness only knows what is in all the dust.
Your floors and that UNCOVERED arch are STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! Such hard workers to provide you all with a nice home. I’m LOVING this journey!!! 🏠
Well done, Tolya and friend! You are working so hard! It’s quite amazing to watch. I look forward to seeing the house as work progresses. I hope you and the girls are well, Vika. ❤️
Congratulations to Tolya and Paul for their Titan work! Frankly, it's impressive to see what Tolya manages to do when he didn't know anything about it before. Tolya should consider creating his own construction and DIY You Tube channel because he could really teach very good lessons to others!
This is so interesting, I could watch for hours! I'd feel pretty overwhelmed renovating this with no clue where to start. Tolya is doing an amazing job and I am glad he has some friend to help every now and then! The neighbours seem to be very nice too. ☺
For someone who always lived a city life Tolya’s becoming really good at this. That house and the yard can become your little piece of heaven, it has so much potential to be an amazing home for you and your girls, they’d have so much fun outside…and Tolya would most likely be very proud of his accomplishment.
Me, already landscaping the yard into a cottage garden in my head 😂
A house full of surprises… and two men full of energy. And a neighbor with a heart… This almost lost house: I couldn’t imagine it could be saved, thanks God you’ve a bigger imagination! And the tortoise 🐢 was saved, too. Interesting country! Love, Monika❣
I love that floor in the main room..
Your husband is amazing doing all this renovation without any previous experience. It's going to be a gorgeous house and home !
The piggy at the end ❤❤ cooling down in the mud!
Watching from America. I love yall
The floors are beautiful! Thanks for sharing, Vika. Toyla is doing such a wonderful job.
So kind of the neighbors to give some food. Such hospitality! Glad you have kind neighbors, Vika! The house is really coming along.
Really enjoying watching the house renovations, I can’t wait to see then end result. I just wish Toyla would wear a mask whilst doing some of the work though. His poor lungs!
I look forward to these episodes so much. Such progress has been made. Tolya's is so inspiring he just keeps going. I am so looking forward to the end result. Thank you for sharing this journey with us all : )
Wow! This isn't just renovating. Toyla and Paul are basically demolishing and rebuilding your new house! I'm absolutely amazed at the hard work they're putting in. I feel tired just watching them, lol. God bless you all and give you good health. Please wear face masks and goggles the whole time while you're working Toyla and Paul, for your health and safety.
Keep up the good work, you never let your fans down with great entertainment 😎
Great progress! Love that arched doorway, its beautiful! Thanks for the update!
Thanks,Tolya, for being so kind to the tortious!🤗
Men are wonderful: prove me wrong. 😀 God continue to bless you and your lovely family. 💛
Your husband & friend are AMAZING 🤩 🎉❤
Toyla should be careful, as the dust is terrible! Anyway you are doing a great work and the house will be amazing surrounded by a wonderful nature; the right place to live quietly and happy. Take care and thank you very much for sharing.
I'm amazed at Tolya's tenacity. Good job! It's also a blessing to have Paul helping out.
Great job everyone! I can’t wait to see the finished project!💕
Always help a tortoise cross the road. Same here in the states. I am amazed at the work that is being done. It will be so very wonderful to share the end results. Your Tolya is a you tube hero.
Yay! New Video!! Hope everything is fantastic with you, Vika! I missed you when you were away! The girls are growing up so fast!! Much Love from Great Lakes US!! ❤️🧡💛
Paul you are such a good friend, thank you for all the help.
I was literally watching the other videos about the renovation while having dinner yesterday and now I'm having dinner watching this video. I love your channel, may God bless you and your family! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great job! God bless you and your family. Regards from Panamá in Central America.
Wow Tolya, & Vika, what a beautiful stone floor and that wood door goes well with your colors too. And then the men uncovered that gorgeous arch! Liked how Tolya, aided that turtle… so kind! Your house is going to be so beautiful when completed. Is Paul, a relative or friend? I can only imagine your genuine excitement as you see your home transforming before your eyes. A lot of investment of hard work, sacrifice, and time, but in the end you will have saved a house from being demolished and be able to enjoy your very own home! You both are young people with little girls who work hard to attain things. Congratulations to both sets of your parents as they instilled good work ethic values in you! So many young people have been brought up with poor values and lack of discipline and love. So many young, able bodied people refuse to work and cause hardship on their families 😢. You two, are good examples as responsible adults, and I just want your parents to be recognized for all their hard work raising families! By the way, Vika, was wondering when showing remodeling in a room, could you please let viewers know which room in house we are watching work being done? I really am loving your house and was wondering about the room with wooden door and stone floor, would that be living room? What room is the arch in? How many rooms, including kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom, dining room, laundry room, etc. will your house have? It sure looks like a large house. Sorry, so many questions… I watch house remodels on TV and love them. Vika, you produce great videos and thank you for sharing. Hugs to both little girls. You both take care. Am praying for your family. God bless! Sending hugs to all. Your American friend , CarrieJo/North Carolina USA 😊❤
I am still in complete awe over them doing this. Their heads must hit the pillows like rocks at bedtime. PS - thank you for saving sweet little turtle ❤️
I loved that you stopped to save the turtle because here in Australia I do the same too
This dream just keeps on getting better and better and, I'm in total awe.I wonder why that archway had been plastered up? That room looks very special now with the light coming through, It almost felt other-worldly or from some ancient time. Looking forward to the next episode.
What a huge effort! The turtle interlude is precious
So much work to plaster the walls! When they were installing those vertical strips I thought they might be to attach sheets of drywall to. 🙂Totally different process from renovations in Canada, where almost all houses are wood frame. Great work!
I too thought they were going to put on plasterboard. They certainly build homes differently there than where I live in Florida and the house was built with concrete blocks but then the inside was studded just like a wood built house and plasterboard walls put in.
Hello from Germany! I can't wait to see what the house looks like when it's finished!🤗
I really enjoyed this mini series for the house project. I hope all is going well with it and I hope that we can see an update soon. :) Much love from Chicago.
Oh my! It’s so much work! How do you have all that strength Tolya? You have good friends that help you. That is such a blessing. I’m amazed at your progress. I can’t wait to see the house all finished.
A difference from British standard construction seems to be that whereas in Britain wires would be placed in trunking, in Georgia the wires are covered in plaster. The advantage of the British system is that the wires can be replaced. You just tie a new wire onto the old wire and then pull the old wire to pull the new wire through the trunking.
Yes, it’s a good system but my husband couldn’t even find a cable trunking here in Georgia😅 so he just does it as other people do it here
Toyla, "We found a turtle!" Haha it would have come home with me and turned into my special garden yard turtle. My Uncle has a turtle that visits him every day. He lives right next to the woods. He feeds it berries. After this project Toyla and Paul could start a home renovation company. So much fun to watch!
Gotta leave that turtle free so we get more turtle generations. But I'm all for providing a safe space for local wildlife to safely access water and shade. It's so special when a wild animal feels safe in your garden.
@@XSemperIdem5Agree with you if only more people did
I have a tortoise just like that one as a pet! His name is Bernard and he came with my husband when we got together. 😅 Im so glad you saved that other one, Tolya!
Oh my goodness the archway is fabulous! Watching the work being done on your future home is very exciting. I can see that the house has got such potential. I know when it is finished, it will be beautiful. You and Tolya are bring that house back to life!
Everything is coming along nicely. Your lucky your husband is such a great handyman. He is doing a great job!! The house will be beautiful when it is all finished. Cant wait to see the end result❤
Renovating your house by yourself, wow, what a great trade for Tolya to acquire by himself, so admirable! Please keep posting, I love seeing the progress as it comes along🥰
Very nice work! Tolya and his friend are to be commended!
These are HUGE jobs that your husband and his friend are doing. So impressive!
Amazing work from the guys - plus kind neighbours and a cute tortoise & pig!
The big floppy ears of the pig - so cute 😊🐷
Good sign getting some finishing stuff. Wow now it's getting exciting.
Wow! So awesome to see the progress! Tolya and his friend are so hardworking! 🤩
Please wear a mask when you renovate!!! Harmful dust can be bad for your health. Especially with OLD homes.
WOW the boys are doing a great job on the house!
What a contrast between the vintage house and the modern DIY store.
Well done Tolya and his friend! What a fantastic effort. Looking forward part 5. I'm sure it will be an amazing home for your lovely family 👨👩👧👧🐱
i love the orange and black floor at 2:40. very unusual! will you be keeping it?
We try to keep expenses at the minimum so far so we plan to keep it. It's just tiles but they are pretty cute☺️
Those two guys ROCK!
Fantastic job - can't wait to see it finished! Paul is certainly a great friend! Thank you Tolya for saving the tortoise.
Well done Tolya, friend and neighbors. The renovation and food look marvelous! Thanks for sharing, Vika. You must be very proud. 💖
Watching them go from improving one room to demolishing another really stresses me out! They are working so hard.
💪😊
I love the multi coloured floor...hope you keep that!
they're not afraid of spiders that's for sure. My first thought when Tolya was ripping the tough wooden planks off the floor "there must be tons of 😱spiders" not "there must be a dead cat" although that would have been awful. What finished me was the cobwebs behind the arched wall, I would have put everything down and I would have run away😁 . The pig at the end made me laugh and the turtle on the road too cute thank you for helping him. Work is progressing...thanks for the vidéo
Amazing! After all the demolition, it must be so rewarding to begin to rebuild some areas! And the arch is such a unique feature.
Fair play to them they are working very hard to make that house into a great home for you’s. Please make Tolya wear a mask. ❤️❤️
Wow! That is so much work..... I'm so proud of you
So much hard work! And thank you for helping the tortoise! ❤🐢
I'm obsessed, thank you for taking the extra time to film it!!!
I know Tolya is soo hardworking but my suggestion would be to also get a few more experts to help you with this to make it quick and also avoid any mistakes that can happen with beginners.. house where you are going to live is such an important place and I love the fact that you are renovating which makes it so so so special but it should also be safe n for long term. So my suggestion.. please don’t take it otherwise, Vika
It's quite hard to find experts who would go all the way to our village and stay there to work. He was trying to find people at first but couldn't find anybody so that’s why he’s doing everything himself. But our friends with professional construction experience were checking the house and consulting him about all the renos and he is keeping in touch with them☺️ Thank God there are people in the village who can change the roof and make the fence so at least these he won't have to do.
@@VictoriaTerekhina That is great to hear!
@@VictoriaTerekhinaok… if you are getting consultation, that is good..
@@VictoriaTerekhina Please read the comment by @teekatze8577... You're taking big risks by demolishing load-bearing walls like that!
And that’s real renovation work! Gosh- they work so hard! I am so glad he’s got a friend to help.
Wonderful neighbour!
Wow! Tolya is really making progress! So nice of his friend to help. I can picture the girls running around and playing in the big backyard when they’re older.
I am so enjoying watching the transformation of your house. I would not have a clue of what to do. Tolya is making a great effort. Thanks for sharing the progress with us. Stay well. Praying for the four of you. God bless. ❤️❤️
Wonderful to see you have support! It would be even better if you explained what they are doing and why did they make the choices they did (materials etc). Hope you can move in soon!
Basically they are bodging it up...yes it will do for now,bit give it 2 years maybe and that "cement is going to fall off!
They have ruined all that perfectly good flooring, yes some was rotten but alot wasn't as you could hear the squeak of the nails pulling through the wood...if they didn't want to use it,they could have sold it as reclaimed timber! They really haven't got much of a clue, although the friend that is helping is slightly better as atleast he was wearing a mask while stripping the ceilings..that old concrete will 100% have lead in it and asbestos!
One good thing was the 🐢 was put to safety.
@@janeevans4758 That's a shame if you are right. I hope they have some knowledgeable support.
@@justavideodiary He sure is a hard worker, but the quality of the work is just not good. They're cutting corners where they can without addressing the real problems like the leaky roof or the issues with the foundations.
I still can't get over how he randomly removed parts of the load-bearing walls without consulting an architect first and without adding any supports. You can't just do that! The structural integrity of the house looked already compromised with some of the walls caving and sagging, but then he made it even worse. Just to put in some cheap single-pane windows that are held in by nothing but tons of spray foam. (Having done this without the proper permits will likely also prevent them from being able to sell the house in the future.)
And keep in mind, this is a house that was build cheaply and quickly over 40 years ago in a region that is prone to earthquakes. Having someone check the foundation should have been the very first thing to do. This house is likely not safe to even be in.
Also the fact that he doesn't take personal protection like wearing a mask, safety goggles and steel-toed boots seriously despite people pointing this out again and again under each video. I wouldn't be surprised if he already has mild lung damage from all the dust and mould he has inhaled so far.
@@teekatze8577 I have experience in this sector, and I totally agree with you. They are taking big risks!
@@janeevans4758 I'd be worried about things like walls falling over and electric shocks. It's so dangerous
I love the sun shining through the arched doorway! Reminds me of a Church.
That hardware store could be Australia, USA, or anywhere. Somethings are the same, wherever you go! I was curious how far Tolya has to travel to access hardware & building supplies??
I was going to ask if Tolya had experience, as this is all so incredible! What an amazing job he is doing! Xxx
Good job on saving the turtle ! His heart is really good . Not many people are like this .When I see snails on the road I do the same . Agata and Adeline will grow up being good adults too , with such a dad !
Vika, could you please add a warning for the flickering lights in the home improvement store? Maybe add a time stamp for when it is over. The flourecent tubes gave me an instant headache. 😵💫
Other than that: I just love to follow how the work is progressing. I am so impressed. 😊 Even more knowing that Tolya doesn't have an education as a tradesman.
So fascinating and satisfying watching this process. What lovey floor and arch. Such hard workers and tortoise saver!❤
Insane work but so worth it. You are going to have a dream house and Tolya will have gotten very strong muscles when it’s finished 😂
Wonderful work Tolya and Paul!
Thank God for your friend! Job is much easier with him helping you guys.
Wow!!! Wonderful work, and God bless you all!!!! Good job!!😊😊
Id love a piece of that hatzapuri. Nice neighbours❤
I feel Tolya should wear a mask more often. I worked in construction and the air can get very dusty during the demolition phases of the job.
It is beautiful to see Tolya working so hard to make a home for his family! And I loved how he stopped to help the turtle! Everyone gets so excited for "turtle season" where I'm from
The house is going to be grand!🙂 Thanks for sharing your stories of times difficult, happy, and in between. God bless.
So much hard work! Wow! These young men will work hard to get the job done. Thank you kind neighbors for delicious food to give them strength! 😀💖🌟🏠
I love your vloggs and will always support them .. such a beautiful family ❤❤❤
I'm just glad he has help.
Wow. I have never been more happy to live in an area where we build with lumber and drywall. Gosh the effort involved in this renovation is very impressive!
