Holy crap! This thing is so awesome! Accurate, too! I love seeing working models of the cars I hold near and dear to my heart. Keep up the amazing work! I'll pay your shop a visit later!
Edit: This hot rod model has unlimited range: as long as you have an unlimited length of tubing and an unlimited source of air pressure and unlimited strength in the components to withstand such pressure. Am I missing anything else?
Just ordered the 4 cylinder and 1 cylinder switch less. Really excited great designs and look forward to building. As I said previous I have already build the old 1 cylinder version.
Another insanely cool MOC! Pneumatic engines always look, function, and sound great, but the air suspension/adjustable ride height was also a super nifty feature. It's crazy how you can make your 5speed + R gearbox so small, it looks to be almost half the size of the one found in Lego's 1/8 scale supercars! I gawked at the disk brakes, never seen those done like that before in a Lego model. Not to mention how epic the turbo is - I love how it spins, makes noise, and is even powered off of the exhaust air, super realistic build. Super talented builder, love it! All the pneumatic engine models I've seen all need a separate air tank though - would it be possible to build something like a pickup truck with an enclosed trailer, and inside the trailer you could house a smaller air tank, and have motor driving pistons to always keep that pressurized? Basically like a mini mobile air compressor in the model so it's fully remote
Wouldn't power be better delivered on a crossplane crankshaft? Meaning 90 degree separation between each of the crankshaft throws. In this instance, considering the two-stroke style "firing order." Because of separation from each pistons "firing".
This is amazing. Love the look and the video. One thing you could have done is put the air tank onto a Lego trailer connected to the car or something like that but overall awesome build
Very cool. What if you built a little trailer( like the ones you usually see these old cars towing) with an air tank you can fill up so it doesn’t have to be connected to the air tank. Or maybe even a small air compressor that’s battery powered 🤷🏻
The Complete Engine Kit comes with all the parts and Instructions to build the engine, just like a normal lego set. If you would like to purchase a engine pre-built, please send me a email on my store.
Very nice hot rod and engine. I just had one question, what does the turbo do as in ‘spinning off’ the exhaust. Does it increase the lego engine’s efficiency or something else?
You should try to make a pulling truck and sled! I've tried it on my channel but I 3d print parts, these piston engines would be awesome to see doing work like this!
very nice! How about adding a trailer with a 300 bar paintball tank with regulator? Then it could drive by itself without needing to have a air hose attached.
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop I mean that would solve the Problem of running Behind the car with an airhose. But then again 300 bars of pressure is no joke.
Ein Auto mit Luftdruck antreiben ist nicht so neu. Peugeot verfolgte dieses Konzept schon vor 10 Jahren in einen umgebauten 2008😊 es war aber mehr so eine Hilfe zum anfahren 👍
Do you guys happen to offer any full kits including chassis? I saw engines and transmissions, but I'm not sure I'm competent enough to build my own chassis around them!
I have a question That turbo is really work? I mean sure that's spinning, but i doesn't have idea about that's will help to wheel power That's looks paradox
Do you think you could take the chassis and make a mini V8, for a rat rod? I got to thinking about the adjustable suspension. It's technically on "bags"
What type of Air Powered Video should I do next? Plane, Boat, Motorcycle... Comment your Ideas Below! 😄
definetly a boat, i have seen cars and other ROAD vehicles, never a boat. i think it will be a huge challenge for you.
Dunno about vehicle but you should experiment with dry ice instead of compressed air, for longer running time
Tank... do a tank... might need a smaller engine to power the steering tho
If you can make a FLYING aircraft, that would be historic.
Great ideas
I have never seen anyone so skilled with Lego that is simply amazing

You’re finally back! Your builds are insane
This is another level of building legos
Hello! From Russia, you can order modified Lego pneumatics from you???
Yes
Dude... wow... that looks and sounds so good.
one of the coolest things I've seen on youtube, along with PeterSripol building and flying his own electric airplane
This hot rod model has unlimited range: as long as you have an unlimited length of tubing.
Eventually the drag of the tubing would weigh down the car enough to stop it

paintball tank
@@SpacedHawk thats what you were missing :D
Yes but only if he pays his electric bill to keep his compressor running
Ok the semi-functional turbo is just 👌

Thank you for being such a passionate and creative LEGO Technic builder. Your work brings joy to people all over the world.
Thank you

Thanks, I have made a 8x8 truck with an on board air tank you can watch it here: ruclips.net/video/_6mQteVavfA/видео.html
Can the lego pumps with technic holes on both ends be used with a Lego motor to maintain a constant pressure to avoid having bottles on it?
If anybody knows od like to know the name of the song in 0:14

its been like 10 month since you uploaded, now I know that im getting the engine in you shop. also thanks for uploading keep on it.
thought you were gone
How you managed to have enough time to figure out how to build this is beyond me, but i thank you for your service
HE ADDED A WORKING TURBO Amazing work my man
this is the coolest thing i’ve ever seen ngl
Yessir this channel is not dead❤
Your videos are always so entertaining and informative!
Glad you like them!
Amazing project❤
What if you connect those parts that you used to compress air to the engine in a way that pumps it for you you get infenite air
It's mind-blowing that Lego Technic actually makes these parts (differential, and disc brakes with printed detail!)
This. Man needs to get hired by Lego because this so freaking cool
For starters this is and awesome build but I challenge you to make a full sized go kart with lego
Nice to see your back🎉 I made your Lego motorcycle 2 years ago😊
Awesome work, love a car with a pneumatic engine. By the way, have you done any more work on the Ripsaw V8?
I think he did
Why does the car look like 1940s race car.
3:13 Literally a Honda Civic engine for no reason
Great to see you uploading again!
good to see you back bro!!

Would love to see a 5-cyl LPE kit. I'd buy several as stocking stuffers 😂
Great to see your post 👍👍
This is awesome
Great project :) this car would make a ton of sense with an automatic gearbox.
this genuinely impresses me
you should try to make a actual working turbo, i think it will work because it will compress the air even more

Hi There New LEGO Subscriber Green Gecko Lego Technic Workshop I'm Here For You
so lucky you guys have the parts and things and get to build cool stuff
this car is just awesome could you make this car in your shop too?
snowrunner music at the start
U a real one 😔🤘
my man 💪
The songs name is backwoods BBQ
Wow! You did a Great job!
Thanks!
The engine looks huge on the frame 😮
Hell yeah, amazing creation! good to see u back
correct way to play with lego
FIRST! love your motors by the way!
Thank you!
This is awesome! I'd love to see something like this go into production
You can buy the Inline 4 Engine, 5 Speed Gearbox and all the motors and pneumatics seen in this video on my Store: www.greengeckoworkshop.com
OMG Awesome car.. could you make a rebrickable post for the engine and the whole car I'd love to build it and the engine!
would’ve loved to see a brake test from max speed 😢 still very nice video tho!
So I was looking at that huge engine the turbo one and do you and do you have to put that all together or does it come put together?
The Complete Engine Kit comes with all the parts and Instructions to build the engine, just like a normal lego set. If you would like to purchase a engine pre-built, please send me a email on my store.
welcome back. looking forward to more
You da TRUTH ❤❤❤
Fantastic build love the engine, are you adding this to rebrickable? I just build your 1 cylinder
Yes i will be
Try use air tank from rc planes.... Smaller size is available too.
So u can have indoard power-supply(air) for ur lpe
Your builds are amazing, probably just as good when you started
Thanks!
That is really cool! Keep up the work!
Thanks! Will do!
I really want a mk3 inline 6.. the inline 6 with this turbo and crank would be unbeatable.. do you have any plans for something like that?
Yes, I will be making a New MK3 Inline 6 based on the Inline 4 Engine.
A Lego turbo is crazy
Cool/ how to ensure the supply of air under pressure inside the layout itself, taking into account the balance between weight and power.
Honestly sounds like my A4s 2.0T
It even sounds like an actual engine with the legos rubbing together. Love the car especially since I’m a big fan of cars and legos
so if you made a big enough engine could you use the exhaust to spin a small generator and use it as an alternator?
I love the clicking sound
normal person see a normal air engine but i see a potencial for infinite energy
You shoud make v14 with big cylinder and v 24 with smoll ones
the fact the 1 cylinder sounds like the thumping of one
Good work man your a legend
Glad you picked a ford out of anything
why is there no airpump onboard driven by the batteries?
The engine sounds just like Skoda 120 engine!
Very nice hot rod and engine. I just had one question, what does the turbo do as in ‘spinning off’ the exhaust. Does it increase the lego engine’s efficiency or something else?
The Turbo spins very fast and makes a Turbo Spooling Sound.
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop ohhhh ok thank you!

Alright. We have reached peak humanity. A tiny turbo. Out of Lego. And it works.

Yes that would work
@@GreenGeckoLegoTechnicWorkshop I mean that would solve the Problem of running Behind the car with an airhose. But then again 300 bars of pressure is no joke.
Can you make a compressor out of Lego and power this car with it?
Yes I could do
the turbine could indeed be turned into additional power. Connect it as a belt supercharger!
Cool, but I have a suggestion.
Can you add a little gas tank but for this case, it's an air tank and you can refill it every once in a while
Yes I could of, if there was enough room in this hot rod. I will include a air tank in the car next time.
Did you put the lobs for the camshaft at 120°from one another? Just wondering if that was the differences between angles.
mabuy you can connect the turbo to a chain and to the drive chaft fo extra poer
I support your store. I think it’s a great idea and I’d buy something from it
Why didn't u build a big air tank inside so u don't need to keep it linked to a pump
Ein Auto mit Luftdruck antreiben ist nicht so neu. Peugeot verfolgte dieses Konzept schon vor 10 Jahren in einen umgebauten 2008😊 es war aber mehr so eine Hilfe zum anfahren 👍
Does the air come out from the exhaust?
It comes out of the engine exhaust.
Awesome build.
Do you guys happen to offer any full kits including chassis? I saw engines and transmissions, but I'm not sure I'm competent enough to build my own chassis around them!
Hi, we only have the Engine Kits and Gearbox at the moment. Thanks
I have a question
That turbo is really work?
I mean sure that's spinning, but i doesn't have idea about that's will help to wheel power
That's looks paradox
It just spins to look and sound cool, it doesn't actually power anything
@@haflingerfan5800 thx
@@haflingerfan5800oh that’s disappointing
Cant you make somethkng like a pump to maintain pressure and air for the engine so there isnt a long tube
You should be put th four speed automatic transmission in it😊
Do you think you could take the chassis and make a mini V8, for a rat rod? I got to thinking about the adjustable suspension. It's technically on "bags"
Yes I have already made a V8 hotrod. check out my other videos
Can you try to make a rotary engine with piston
Next you should make it tow its own pressured air supply in a bottle or something like that.
great! 😄👍 Would you like to build a car with an airride-kit ?
What? No burn out? 🤣. This was a nice build! Good work 👍
Super travail. Toujours un plaisir de voir de très belles choses en lego.
