i believe the DVD includes footage from the two tracks recorded with the LSO at Barking town hall in East London. I remember that venue very well, it was then called the Assembly Hall and was an annex of the town hall, this venue was used for all sorts of things when i was a kid for school concerts or borough concerts but it was also known for it's acoustics & was a favoured recording venue for the likes of Bernard Herman. The footage brings back a lot of memories of both the hall & it's green room which i frequented many a time from the early to the mid 70's being a part of the borough band. For my sins 50 years later i still live in Barking.
I listened to both LPs tonight. Excellent, A+
Not much more I can say. They’re both fantastic sounding records
Really nice looking box set
i love that the vinyl appears to come in an onion protective sleeve

Have you watched the dvds yet? If yes? Is the audio distorted? Is the cd sound quality better then the cd (HDCD)?
