CEE B yoooo i had a 2011 17” and just purchased a 2021 16” M1 16gb ram 1TB U think ill be good?
Yeah your 2021 mac will be good
I have a MBP 2012 is slowing down but I recently got the 2020 M1 16gb 1tb and have absolutely no issues with the beta. The M1 is magical, even with the beta (not even optimized version yet).
@@i.t.attheu1014 Thanks for the info good to know i made the right choice
I just gave up a $500 gig. When I download 3.0 none of my music showed up and all my songs have a locked on them saying read only
I dont see the new update 3.0.0 on the serato website, the latest version is 2.6.0, any explanation for that. I live in Canada
Hav 2016 pro i5 1tb hhd run frist beta version freeze after 6 hrs using serato play use second beta version get ah 8 hrs no freeze wit serato play
I have a 2015 MacBook pro with i7 16 go ram with monterey and I have the sames problems glitches and audio dropouts when stems is engaged during the analisis of the track
Thanks for this! Is it running correctly without using stems for simply basic functions? Same computer as you and not sure if I want to upgrade to Big Sur or Monterey from High Sierra. Just bought a new controller that needs the latest version of serato and don't care about using stems. Does it run smoothly with the basic functions or does the fan still go crazy? Thanks for any advice!
@@DJMichaelKhoury yes without stems with monterey it runs smoothly it's like sierra but as soon as I engage stems I have audio dropouts
how do i setup my mac book to record my mix using serato
Macbook pro 2015. IOS catalina. 8gb ram, 120gb, i5
Does it work fine?
I have a late 2011 MB Pro with a 2.2 GHz i7 and 16 GB of Ram, I don't DJ much anymore so I'd like to try Serato 3.0 out, if it't laggy i'm not too concerned s I'll be just fooling around in my home studio. If I do decide to do a gig I've made a copy of the older version of Serato DJ for any potential gigs. You think this would work?
I know your comment is old, but I don’t think you can install Serato 3.0 on a 2011 MBP. You running High Sierra?
Great vid
Thanks bro
I’m using a MacBook Pro 13” 2020 i5 16GB Ram
How is it doing for you @briancadogan for you?
2015
What's Up DJ CEE B, I appreciate your knowledge and I thank you for posting these videos featuring the 3.0.0. I'm running the Beta on a mid-2014 MacBook Pro Mojave 10.14.6. 2.5 ghz intel core i7 16GB 1600MHZ DDR3. Serato will crash sometime if "I'm getting Jiggy Wit IT" ,practicing playing with all 4 decks using the stems. I will say that it just crashes when I load a song from 1 deck to the other during the mix.Another DJ friend of mines suggested that it might be a memory issue, but I have plenty memory.Other than that, I haven't had any other issues while using the Roland DJ 808. I also used it with my portable Hecules Starlight. Now this carries another issue which is a sound delay. Sound is about a second off from what you see on screen or say after you hit a cue. This doesn't happens all the time, it starts off that way but it will eventually catch up and be on cue after a little while of playing.
Mr. CEE B kindly thanks for your help but i think i have a problem regarding this new software.
all process of downloading and installing were successful but unfortunately whenever I try to open the software it showing me 👉(WARNING-POTENTIALLY UNSTABLE) and it says that am not supposed to use a performance or any live scenario.
What to do for that.
Thanks 🙏
That is the same exact thing Phase dj said when it was Beta
I have a 2017 MacBook Air . I don’t suppose il use stems on it due to the load . I have an Asus windows laptop. I’m under the impression that it will handle stems with a I5 processors that will go up to 3.14 ghz . Will see what happens.
@thireshannaicker4078 Did you download the serato 3.0 stems on your mackbook 2017? If so how is 2017 doing with the serato 3.0?
@@richarddavis6982 hi Richard. Not as yet.,didn’t really have the time to update it. But il keep you posted. One thing I used quite often was dj pro on my iPad Air 4 . It’s very convenient to move with and delivers flawless performance.
I thought virtual dj had stems first sea rato is like apple when Samsung comes out with new futures
Looks like I won’t be updating my 2015 MacBook
I tried this using Serato stems on my 2015 mbp and it sounded like it was about to take flight
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
not a fan of the new wayforms
Now I know why Serato is acting weird and my computer fans are always kicking in on my 2015 MacBook…🤔
At least some of you guys can load and play tunes; I can't even get my songs loaded and analyzed.
I've got over 35k songs.
I have a Dell 64 bit computer with an Intel i7-6700 CPU @3.4 GHz, 4 cores with 16 GB memory, 1.5 TB regular storage and a 2TB external hard drive, and I can't even get all my songs stored and analyzed in Serato 3.0.
I'm not exactly sure what to do in order to solve this problem.
Pls help a brother out DJ Cee B.
Im using a MacBook Air 2015 and it has all of those problems. I'm thinking about getting a 2017 MacBook Pro 512 GB. the new MacBooks are really expensive lol. Do you think it would work better with Stems and Serato? bc it said 2017 or later please let me know. Thank you.
Mac book Air 2013 😢
😎
Intel chips are rubbish. Come over to the m1 m2 chips.
Virtual 8
I played serato dj pro 3.0 on a Comodore 64 without problems!😜
2012
by a pc your mac is too old. Acer Predator Helios 300 is a better deal. memory and hard drive upgradable you are also able to control the fan speed.
yeah thats not going to work.Serato and its new features will probably work best on the new m1,m2,on wards but at least 2019 and later machines might be ok but below that maybe not
I have early in 2011 MacBook Pro.12 Gb ram,1Tb graphics intel Hd 3000 512mb
