I bought all these Ortlieb Panniers so you don't have to!
In this video I review and explain:
- QL1 vs QL2.1 rack attachments;
- City vs Back-roller closure systems and differences;
- Classic vs Plus fabric - which one I prefer;
- Sports-roller (25l vs 40l);
- Ortlieb Handlebar Bag and mounting system (lockable and standard).
Why I chose the panniers for my cycle tour.
Very helpful. Thanks
Thanks for the time and effort you have put into making this very informative video, well done!
Thanks for this, very helpful!
Useful video. Thanks Chris
Thanks Nathan, feeling the love :D
Thank you so much for this incredibly helpful comparison! Now I feel confident about which set to order 😊
You’re very welcome! What are you going for?
@AdventureSolos the city is so much cheaper. The classic looks better by having a less plastic, glossy look and has a better locking mechanism so it can hold taller or more items, buy that in itself doesn't make it worth twice as much. So I'm going to get the city. Thank you so much for this video because I was clueless before watching
very useful! Thank you!
I've always went with the 'Bike Packer Classic' for my rear panniers. Do you have an opinion on them?🤙🏼
Thanks for this
also.. what's the Back-Roller Core???
There's no such thing as "too big" in a front handlebar bag... :) Accessibility = Enjoyment
At 11.19 ruclips.net/video/mssB5rwt5OY/видео.htmlsi=En3Q3jQ34D6nriUL&t=679, these's an image of the inside of a pannier. It's festooned with bolt heads. They'd make a real mess of any laptop. Do all the panniers have these bolt heads, and if so, is there a standard way to minimise damage?
As well as my laptop, I'd be wary of putting any lightweight gear eg a Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer jacket. That too would get shredded by bolt heads.
Easily removable = Easily Stealable
