Awesome video! When did you go? I’m planning a trip for late March and hoping I can miss the rain. Last year I went to Kauai in early February and got dumped on the entire time. Still an amazing place!
We went in September!! Winter is definitely the rainiest time, spring is probably the second rainiest time!

Did this as a day hike, lots of fun, spent a little over an hour at the beach.
Dang! That's amazing! I cannot even imagine doing the full 22 miles in one day!
@@seekingthenow The guy is full of shit. You are lucky to make it to the Valley in a day., Not possible to hike 18 mile round trip in daylight. So, if he did it, he did it over 24 hours.

Lots of the valleys in Hawaii has fruits from the first Polynesians that brought fruits with them to the islands as well as pigs. Hence up mauka from you is a heiau not a hippy ville. Great video tho
