  • If you're not sure how to lift and support the truck for this job please watch part 1 first as there will be no suspension to catch
the truck in case of a jack failure.

Long live the backyard mechanic! Love the videos. Nice watching how it's done without the fancy shop. Reminds me of how I pursue a project. Thanks again Gordon 👍.

That's a clever use of 2 used break drums...jack stands...will have to remember that!

Is that safe? I'm just thinking of how easily I've broken stuck drums in 2 peices.

I gotta handed to you! Great job considering that you're all by yourself doing a very complicated and dangerous job! I dont think i can pull a job like that by myself! Being asthmatic and with heart problems, i would need another pair of hands to help me! Great job Sir!😎👍

I have to do the same exact work to my fld 120 I was told that the u bolts have to be cut off

Yeah the boys at the Mack garage told me they have to cut the U bolts off because when the springs were installed and when they tighten the U bolts the threads stretch and mayhem could ensue if reused. But I'm sure they also liked charging me $350 a side for the new U bolts but that's for the rear springs the U bolts are quite a bit larger back there.

@@57bagre looks like a little paradise to me. I only own one property in the city (1 acre). Looking for me and the wifes forever home in the country. If all else fails we will build here in the city just cant have live stock or shooting range in the city.
