  • Welcome to The Scale Modelling Cafe and another sprue tour type review, well, not sprues as such, more like "scaffolding" tour! Anyway, its utterly amazing!

That 1945 Burma scheme with the Panther is the coolest [and I am from Canada]

Seen that, with the Barracuda Studios stuff on order this should be really detailed

Looks really great. Those cages are a pain for reviewers though! Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on this "all out" model.

Stunning bit of design and printing you have there Jamie. Can't wait to see it come together. After coming-apart of course!

Cannot wait to see this build! Magnificent set plus a Tamiya Spit - cannot fail to be a masterpiece.

Can’t wait to see you build this! I’d love to buy this conversion set, when it eventually comes back into stock 😅

It will be after Xmas mate, got a few projects to clear first and I need to get a bunch of Barracuda Studios bits first

Looks good, from a quick glance it seems the conversion could be a right royal , but with the comprehensive instructions , be a piece of cake.
Having used a 3d printed conversation set(the revell Lancaster grand slam) I wouldn't hesitate to use another 3d printed item.
I was also impressed with the packaging of the set and you for managing to get it back in the box without breaking the scaffold

Hi Jamie. Have you seen on Aeroscale that he's also done some cockpit part sets for the MkXIV. He's clearly very passionate about what he's doing judging by the quality of it.

Yes mate, I have the alarm set for when it goes live on sale! I'll be getting a load of Barracuda Studios bits too!

Looks fab Jamie. Do you think you will keep the Mk.VIII tail from the kit?

No mate, I bin everything after a project

@@thescalemodellingcafe Sorry Jamie, what I meant was use the kit tail rather than the Laminar Flow conversion part.

You have to use the conversion part mate, the XIV had a bigger fin.
