"It was impossible to avert partition in decades of 1940s, prior to this decade failure of congress to win trust of minorities which was a pan Indian party plays important role. I think at taht time minority has more participation according to their population there was rare any committee where they were absent. I agree with theory of British and USA combination , they have started enmity between two relegion for their purpose , incident of 1905 , 1919, 1935 all has widen enormity between community , But one more thing was this was not started by British only it was comming from Mughal era
