The inspiration behind this video:
Throughout the many live-action Superman movies and TV shows that have come over the last few decades, there have been various approaches to Lex and Clark Kent's dynamic. With Superman having Hoult and Corenswet play the respective characters, as the actors are close in age in real life, the DC Universe may be taking the long run with Lex and his hatred for the Man of Steel. Given the long history they have in the comics, the Lex and Superman rivalry could be fleshed out to last for several years in the new franchise.
With Gunn's DC Universe, this could also be the first movie franchise to finally have Lex perhaps even take Superman on physically. From his famous Lexosuit to the DC arcs where he even has powers, the DC Universe can tackle Superman and Lex's war, both philosophically but also in a way that brings new stakes for their relationship in the world of live-action. If Lex even ends up being one of the main antagonists of the DC Universe, the Superman movie can perfectly seed the idea for him to get a larger role in future films and TV shows.

Dear everyone upset over Henry Cavil, he played a good Superman, but it wasn't the best. Christopher Reeves will always be the greatest and to conpare to that well brings greatness. Yes his Superman was sad and grimacing all the time, superman is meant to be the Captain America level joy and hope of DC, if not more

I don't really understand how someone can snatch such a strong role frm someone who is an absolute perfect choice to play that role and despite knowing that no one can ever match Henry cavil's resemblance of superman.
