I'm tossing up between a couple of different budget driver transfers. Albon to Magnussen or Bottas to Hulkenberg? I'm leaning towards Albon to Magnussen because of Williams' DNF history at Suzuka.
Hi Rob, great video! If you could only choose one Haas driver between Magnussen or Hulkenberg, who would you go for? Is one or the other better for points/value building? I’d love to hear your thoughts, thank you!
I think both are equally good for building budget. I personally prefer Magnussen as he isn’t as strong in qualifying as Hulk is, which usually translates to starting further back and opens the door for additional positions gained points
Appreciate the response! I’ve got a follow up question if that’s alright - currently got a cost cap of $2.6m, and can replace any of Ricciardo, Yuki, Albon, or Bottas for Magnussen.. who would you replace if it were you? Cheers!
I think that more effetctive way to you is get Zhou and Albon out and Bottas and yoki in. I think that its better to take cheaper sauber driver at moment because you cant rely them at moment. Yoki should be also safe and more potential to get budget grow.
To each their own. I don't think those two trades makes sense for my team this week or the weeks ahead, but go for it if you like the sound of Bottas and Tsunoda in Japan
If you want to build budget, then checo/sainz/Leclerc are the best candidates in the #1 driver. Max becomes a very attractive option for the sprints in China and Miami, so if you want him then, trading him out and back in a later is booking in two trades of a possible four in a two race span. Depends on your strategy for the next few races
I have a dilemma. I can get Max + Ferrari + RedBull but my budget picks would have to be both Saubers and Both Williams, or I can get a combination of Sainz + Alonso + RedBull + Ferrari + Albon + Kmag + Gasly. Dunno if I should risk it for points or go for the budget build. If the budget build has a disaster, this might be the last time I can get Max for the season.
I will assure you that if you are priced out of a VER RED FER lineup after Japan, that you'll still have opportunities in the season to get this lineup. really comes down to personal preference and strategy - some people want to get that triple up combination this week, others are willing to wait 1-2 more weeks to build budget

What about the team you mentioned before: sainz leclerc stroll - aston, ferrari and sainz stroll - rb and ferrari which team is it better for budget building ?
Yeah, last week was a garbage result for me but I found a way for Max and Ferrari + Red Bull so I hope possibly that I can get an increase in Nico and one or 2 of the Williams drivers.

Red Bull are expected to be quite good at Suzuka. Until we see practice, I like Perez (assuming no budget restrictions)

Worth mentioning there will be gusts up to 30mph too on Sunday. Difficult to drive in for sure with rain too

I think if you are worried about being priced out of the VER RED FER build, then I would make it a priority transfer this week

Should I go for a RBR-FER-MAX-MAG-BOT-SAR-ZHO for max points or should I go with FER-AMR-LEC-SAINZ-TSU-MAG-STR for max budget ?
