    It’s unbelievable, however, I’m still grieving from Jacky’s death.. i watched her daily, like she was family. I’m just saddened, especially since the cause of death is not spoken of, or who was with her. She just vanished!!! 😢😢 I’m watching you, because of her.❤

    Ive watched Jacky for years, I loved her. Soon as I heard she passed I cried myself to sleep and it just shocked me because we never know how much someone impacts our life with out even knowing them. I couldn’t accept the fact that she was gone specially for her babies. I definitely found you Brie because of her and the fact that you’re an Aries like me 🤍. Love your content and your mom!

    5:16 grieving is forever! My only biological uncle passed away March 2013 & my family still breaks down talking about him. His oldest daughter got married Nov. 2022, her brothers did the daddy/daughter dance with her and no one could control the tears cause his memory is so strong with us. It hurts like hell that he’s not here. I’m tearing up just typing this but grief is forever. I just like to live in the positive memories & not his last moments cause fortunately enough my entire family was surrounding him when he took his last breath.

    Soon as I seen the Barbie movie snd people dressed up I thought of Jacky immediately. It mad me so very sad . She would’ve went all out for the girls (her babies) . Also seeing her sons one yr bday party tore me up . I feel such a pain for you all (her friends and family) seems sorrel.

    That feeling of a loved one being here and then the next moment they’re gone forever is the toughest pill to swallow. After my dad passed…I had to stop myself from calling him to tell him things or ask questions so many times. It’s been 9 years and the grief still hits in waves. This was a great episode. So many people think that their grief needs look like others and that’s just not true

    This has been my favorite episode so far. August 6th will be the two year anniversary of my brother passing from a car accident. This was right on time! You are extremely blessed to have a mother you can talk to about these topics. So many gems in this episode. 💎

    Losing someone really makes you realize things are beyond your control. It makes you learn what trusting God, having faith really means. I loved hearing how Jacky brought you and Karlous back together. 🩷 Rest in Peace to both your uncle and Jacky. May their memory be a blessing to you and all that knew them. 🙏

    I love this episode. I literally was just telling someone the other day that after someone dies, it doesn’t get easier, you just learn to live without them. My brother died 5 years ago and I still cry about it to this day. I wish I could pick up the phone & call him 💔

    My experience…. I think when you lose someone unexpectedly, the hurt is different than when someone is older or sick for an extended period of time. Like when they’re older or sick, ur mind processes that eventually they will die. You don’t want them to, because ur gonna miss them and you love them. Versus when someone unexpectedly dies, ur mind is trying to figure out why or how or if it was something you could’ve done to help them or change the outcome… RIP to all loved ones 😢

    The quote from my favorite TV show always sticks with me: "We don't move on. We hold that place in our hearts, close it off, lock the door, visit from time to time, but we don't move on. Even after we say goodbye." Losing my mama three years ago was devastating; it happened suddenly and shocked everyone who knew her. Returning to work after her funeral was tough, as working while depressed is challenging. What gives me solace is knowing that those who leave this world live on through the ones they leave behind. I honor her and others who have passed by living the best life I can. I appreciate this discussion and am truly sorry for your losses as well.

    I’ll keep this light…This is a very hard topic for me right now but I’ve learned the value of time and relationships l love so much more than I could ever hate and I’m now quicker to pray for others….you and your mom made so many valid points about grieving it definitely hurts but I still trust GOD 🥹 I have learned that depression turned around can also mean I pressed on 🫤 but the hurt is so powerful.

    I remember my Grandfather and Cousin passing away two weeks apart from eachother in 2020. I felt numb and couldnt answer the question how are you for months. I felt like i was in a movie. What helped me was therapy, reminding myself to celebrate and remember them my own way, writing, and talking about them and sharing funny memories. I still text my cousins number and send him messages on facebook messenger for some reason its helped me. I also remind myself that he's watching over me. I will also say that when Jacky passed although i never knew her personally i felt numb. I loved her videos and how passionate, hardworking and resilient she was.

    I found myself being angry at God for 20 minutes. In them minutes I wanted to tapped out of my faith. I wanted to leave god side. Then I realize I can’t be mad at him and that humbled me. And I apologize to God & Just told him my feelings.

  • @Mrs.PeachezGrows
    @Mrs.PeachezGrows Год назад

    I understand why you would be mad at God for taking your loved ones. That wouldn’t be loving at all. But we all know that God is love. I’ve never found peace in the thought that God takes our loved one. James chapter 1 is a great scripture in the Bible.
    James 1:13 particularly talks about how God does not try people with evil things. He is actually sad when we are sad. Just imagine how God felt with hundreds of thousands of his people mourning Jacky’s death simultaneously.
    It states at Ecclesiastes 9:11 that unexpected events befall us all. During my darkest time, it comforted me to know that God did not cause my pain. It’s actually the exact opposite. He is the God of comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.
    I also like to read about Job. Satan tested him. God comforted and restored him. 🙏🏽
