That "Elvis country" Album is arguably the greatest country album of all time Make the world go away is a massive highlight but the whole album is just extraordinary
I 100% AGREE, I HAVE IT ON CD, BEST COUNTRY, SOUL, BLUESY ALBUM EVER, ELVIS THE MOST VERSATILE VOCALIST IN HISTORY, ELVIS WAS A VOCAL ARTIST HANDS DOWN, STAY SAFE, AUSTRALIA, 🇦🇺👍💯🆗
And they say. Elvis wasn't Country. Elvis could be whatever he wanted to be. He could Be country ,Blues ,Gospel,Soulful sweet and Rock the house down . He done it all he was the King of Music.❤
Elvis could get away with SO MUCH vocally. If we tried singing like that we'd sound amateurish, but with Elvis' tone FORGET IT --- he sounds SO ELITE. Un-reproducible.
Hi John, i like your reaction to this song, i think that you will other songs from the Elvis country album, maybe try "Faded Love", "It's Your Baby, You Rock it and "Snowbird", i would to see your reaction to these songs, keep up the good work.
Thank you for this lovely reaction to the song I requested.😊 I'm happy that I was right with my prediction that you would like this one. It was so nice to see ypu smiling and enjoying the song all the time. I share this feeling with you, it's one of my favourite Elvis songs because it always lifts me up when I am down, I can't keep my feet still, as soon as the song starts playing! Elvis really has the right song for every mood! And I love when he was jamming an playing around. I'm shure, the other one I requested from the same recording session, "I got my mojo workin' " you will like too, it's as energetic an playfull as this one!
Thank you for requesting it, just what I need to get moving doing my exercises as I have pelvic fractures muscle loss, alls good. I have Love Letters from Elvis and it has mojo workin like the other songs better and what John just played , Washed my hands in muddy water love it.
Love it when Elvis sounds like he's having fun with a song and his fellow muscians ... I can just picture him bopping along with the rhythm ! TCB forever !
Love Elvis never sang a bad song. His voice is a treasure, one of a kind. Please consider reacting to Impossible Dream, Somebody bigger than you and me, Reach out to Jesus. Please more Elvis. Just cannot get enough. Gods greatest musical voice. Thank you John.
John you just keep getting cuter. Ha. Thanks for always being an advocate for Elvis. this is part of the American studios group I believe, by the way, have you done "If you Talk in Your Sleep", it's very funny. I like that you are reacting to some of the lesser known songs. I own them all but love to see young people react to them. Now 80 I've been with him since the 50's. You are a great reactor. be Blessed.
Doesn't matter what genre he goes to in his music, he is always Elvis. The compassion and emotions from his music feels him up and, therefore, it spills over to the lovers of his music, both the older generation and the new. You did a great song and you enjoyed it and you made the audience enjoy your words. Thanks so much!
Elvis era perfeito em tudo, na voz, no olhar, nos movimentos, tinha presença de palco, era soberbo...se existe uma perfeição na música, essa perfeição é ELVIS PRESLEY ❤
@@johngibsonmusic John can you do some reaction for some Marty Robbins' self penned classics such as the trilogy of "El Paso, "Feleena" and "El Paso City", along with some of my favorites such as "The woman in my bed", "Worried", "Blessed Jesus if I fall", "The Chair", "Girl From Spanish Town", "House with everything but love", "It takes faith", "Man Walks Among Us", "The City", "My Native Land", "Eyes", "Until We Meet Again, "Falling Out of Love", "Not So Long Ago", "Never Look Back", "Mean Mama Blues', "A little spot of heaven", "The way I love you best", "Completely Out of Love", "Gene Autry my Idol", "Fly butterfly fly", "If there's still another mountain", "Oh, Regina", "Big Iron", "Carmen", "She's just a drifter". Also Townes Van Zandt would be cool as well.
I'm very glad to know you like Elvis'music very much, John! He is the greatest, the master of all times! It's splendid that young musicians follow his steps, thank you for your reacts, greetings from Argentina ❤
Elvis Country and From Elvis in Memphis, both from the same early 70’s timeframe, are in constant play in my head and house. Two of my Top 5 records of all time. Those deep low yeahs just get me every time 😊
Welcome back John and an appreciative and knowledgeable reaction as per usual. I know nothing about music per se re the finer points but the whole band is top notch, and Ronnie Tutt in full flight is something to behold. I could be wrong but I believe this was an unedited jam session
I've forced this on a lot of people who made the mistake of getting in my car. I always crank the volume up right before he jumps up an octave to that "tried to do like my daddy told me!" So good. PS was so glad to see this wasn't the version with the overdubbed horns which almost ruin the song (for me anyway).
Incredible what he could do jamming and having fun. Such a fun song and the musicians behind are incredible. You truly loved that song I could see it on your face. Also I caught one of your live streams from Germany week ago was great show, you too are a great talent keep on playing.
This is my favorite Elvis album. They stripped all the noise out and all his songs on this puts his voice right up front. It’s only him and the guys he was recording with. This was known as the marathon recordings. The songs I believe went to 3 albums. This went to his Country Album. So glad to see you back. You’re looking great and I hope you’re well and your music career is booming. If you tour the US on the East Coast, let us know. Would love to see you play. 😁❤️🎸🎸🕺🏻🕺🏻🎤🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
Hi John good to see you again, I'm sure you're a good guitarist as well. 👍. Yes the track was slightly shortened on the album version. Padre by Elvis is worth listening to in your own time. Thanks
Hi John. Thank you for reacting to that special song!! For me it is a perfect example how Elvis was doing at this time in 1970.. pure fun, in the studio but combined with hard work... for sure Elvis was at his peak... and this "Nashville Monster session", in which he recorded 39 Master takes for the next 3 upcoming Albums shows that his fun had a impact on his "productivity".. and all that besides the new live-shows, first in Vegas and in the Fall of 1970 for a Tour, his first since a long, long time... this Nashville Box shows how Elvis really was.. l love it Thank you, John
I love this song, it takes you to a happy place, singing here with Elvis, foot a tapping 😊 You can hear he is having fun singing this wonderful song ❤ Grace from Canada
Hey Johnny~glad you're back!!!! I can't say I've ever heard this song before. Wow~ what a treat!!!! 👍😊❤ EP really has a wide catalog. After all these years and still learning new music from him, through you! 😉 Thank You!!! Btw: I've been on a constant loop listening to "Love Station" the acoustic version. It is one of your many best's and it always brings a good vibe mood! Love it Thank You!!!! 👍 *KIT* 💘😊
Hi john nice to see u back loveing the song elvis really having fun with this really a good catchy song got me dancing 🎶 loved it great choice thanks john much love and god bless from Barbara uk ❤🏴💃🕺🎧🎤🎸👏👏👏👏👑♥️👍👍👍👍♥️❤️🎶🎶🎶👍💯💯👏👏
John, its absolute pleasure watching your reactions. I know as a musician, you are listening to everything and how it fits, a great arrangement is like a complex puzzle that, when its done simply, is pure alchemy. That's why no one can contrive greatness. I love how you enjoy listening and taking in each part.
I love this song especially by the one and only Elvis, I also love Tomorrow is a Long Time. I have been looking doe your video reactions for months now. I lost my husband in 2022 , and after I finally watched the ELVIS movie I became obssessed with ELVIS music so turned to his videos everyday ro learn how to sing again. Then I found you and your reaction videos and became obssesed with you. It's nice to see there are many people that really GET Elvis and his music. You seem so genuine in your reactions . When it's a serious song you stay serious but when it's a funny song or Elvis really gets going it.s fun to see the smile on your face. Keep on reacting I enjoy it a lot.
Ahhh, there was a harmonica player in the mix, too. No question, James Burton is his usual stellar self on the fills, but JB leaves plenty of room for the harmonicist (Charlie McCoy? I dunno, but you could look it up.), and the harmonicist wastes no time charging in - and charging in again and again. Dude deserves props for his contributions throughout this barreling freight of a performance.

"Because it's wrong", and "the Master's Call."
I would have liked the song much more if Elvis had kept the chorus at the end to no more repetition than three times; he also didin't have to make the final remarks. Don't get me wrong, I like the majority of Elvis Presley's recorded work and love singing his songs at karaoke.

Elvis country is one of my favorite albums. This song is so groovy and listen all the great musicians behind Elvis. I can not sit still.❤❤❤
Elvis could sing and create new notes. Change from one note to another a lot higher or lower in a split seconds. Loved it.
YOU SO. RIGHT ABOUT THAT❤
Elvis mi emoziona forte. Non riesco più ad ascoltare altri cantanti. La sua voce mi ha stregato. Ciao
