When RayTracing is so realistic it even burns your pc when you're standing next to lava in Minecraft. Yes my graphics card gets real hot during the making of my videos. I can cook an egg on it.
People keep misinterpreting incredible Graphics with RTX and it hurts my brain lol, they dont understand that RTX is mostly used to realistic lighting thats not baked in or faked like screen space ambient occlusion or lighting. Its frustating that noone really understands that and ray tracing has been out for a while now

Anyways what ray tracing really does is calculate rays of (typically) light and how they would interact with the world in real life. The textures have nothing to do with rtx, that has to be provided by the game creator or mods within the game. Ray tracing is simply lighting

Honestly, I love the in-development pack NAPP (Not Another Photorealistic Pack) which uses custom textures and POM to make the surfaces of the blocks 3D. It requires a shader to work, but it's amazing. The dev just added doors and trapdoors.
Pro tip :- If you want to stop any zombie from despawning but you don't have any nametag, you can give zombie anything which he can put in his hand like any one block, any tool, etc things in Minecraft .
It's even more cringe when you know a friend that brags about their "Minecraft Ray Tracing" when they just use a "realistic" texture(just a plain High Resolution texture) with some shaders that have shadows and screen space reflection. Thank god im the type of guy that use vanilla and sometimes enhanced default shaders xD

Rtx is on java via fan projects like SEUS, not official but does a good job at bringing it to java.
@Potato King it is real ray tracing but it's not necessarily RTX since you don't have to use NVIDIA RTX Graphics to run it.
