@@ovhgermany9958 my daily rider is a 1998 rm250. My secondary bike is a 2016 rmz250. They generally make the same power but the rmz doesn't have to be on the pipe. Midrange is actually the only time the rm pulls the rmz. Even the best 2t at the time struggled to make 40hp at the wheel. Today the tpi bikes make consistent 45hp but.the real champ is the gas gas 300 tpi. They make 50hp but on any mx track a new 250 4t will drag it. It's because the 4t revs way higher and the power spread out like that just gives them the ability to "hook up". Recreation use I pick 2t all day. Race day besides single track woods is now a 4t game. Simple as that.

Yeah lets put a CLAPPED OUT kx 250 runnin like shi with a guy who cant holeshot and wearin no helmet against a brand new crf 250 4t and the rider of the honda knows how to ride if yhe kx ran good with a better rider then the kx would win.
