My wife and I are going in November. Renting a car in Athens, driving to Corinth, then to Meteora, then back to Athens. Did you use GPS? What about extra insurance? Thanks for a great video.
That is so exciting! We hope y'all have the best time! We did use our GPS and that helped greatly. There are few road signs in English but the majority are in Greek of course. So when you put in your GPS it does help as it tells you exactly where to go. We used ours every time we drove somewhere. We did not get extra insurance when we went but I think that would be a smart thing to have and just that extra piece of mind! Also if you have never driven there before once you are outside of the city it is pretty easy but inside the city people do not drive like we are use to in the states. So just be cautious of what's around you and where people are coming from and going and also of the scooters, they will come out of nowhere!
