I have the lariat first edition hybrid and boy does it drive better then my 2021 Camry hybrid!! Better gas MPG, more practical and roomy. Every morning I drive to work I get around 45 to 52 MPG. Just keep it at 45 to 50 MPH and you’ll be at electric the whole time as long as ure not going at an incline.
@@leafyveins4985 yes! Because the Camry is too low to the ground therefore u feel bumps and road imperfections! The Mavy, handles it way better. I really can’t get over the ride quality on the mavy. 10 out of 10 people that’s been a passenger in my Mavy, wants one. No matter what brand and type of vehicle they own. They fall for it even on a short drive!
Regarding the rough feeling suspension, check the tires. Many people reported over inflated tires from the factory and a much smoother ride after deflating them a little bit.
Really considering this. I love trucks but I don't need the regular max bed space, I don't want or need to drive some giant monster truck, I want something that handles well, and I want something that handles like a Colorado or my old S10. Great video. Great info, thank you!
@@themockalovebuild quality issues: panel rattles, dash rattles, engine knock issues, the tonneau cover was factory defected, and it’s just not safe on the highways in the midwest where traffic is running 80+mph it’s all over the place. My jeep has less rattles and that’s saying something. Would have been ok in places like nyc or La, but in the midwest it’s just not practical. Mine had the xlt lux package, the blind spot monitor didn't work, the leather steering wheel would creek and sound like it was breaking in my hands, the screen is junk, the power windows would struggle with 250mi. At 19k base it's a good deal at 30k optioned, it's going to be very disappointing.
Damn, that's a lot. Sorry to hear that. Great feedback. I thoroughly enjoyed it and everything worked well. But who knows what the reliability is like overtime. Thanks for the update 👌
@@rustbeltrobclassic2512 sorry to hear that, but Ure the only unsatisfied owner Im aware of. Mine feels and sound better than all 3 new Toyotas I have. It sounds like ure talking about my new Toyota Venza, witch is straight out of Japan!
Nicely done man! Steelies for the win.
Means a lot coming from the maestros ❤️
I just got my 23 Hybrid XL. I love it. It’s the most bang for the buck. The drivetrain is quiet and refined. Gas mileage is terrific

Exactly! Especially stop and go traffic. Often times it can do fully electric for a long time.
Does the Lariat handle the same?

Makes sense!

Appreciate the feedback! Santa Cruz would be another great option, which is a little smaller than the Maverick and has a far nicer interior
I wonder if the cruise control has changed, because now in 2023 the XL does come with cruise control.
Good job on the driving experience !
Appreciate it!
Great review. Thanks.
Finally, a Maverick I would buy, a truck for grown-ups. Why buy an economy truck if you're gonna load it down with crap?
Indeed! Why pay so much more for what is meant to be a value proposition 👌
is this your personal car or do you do var reviews?? I am new to this channel and still deciding if this would be a good option for me
Not my personal car. I review cars
thank you loved the review
Appreciate it ❤️
I did not understand
bad editing and commenting
I owned an XLT Hybrid for a month.. i hated it.. and got rid of it. It’s cheap, for a reason..
What went wrong?

It really proves that there is always that tiny minority of cars that are duds or small bad batches amongst the majority of solid vehicles
