I very much like the T1SV2 flashlight. The magnetic end is a great idea...
That smaller size and reduced weight is nice for a lot of situations. This summer I have been using flashlights while hiking and backpacking instead of headlamps because it gets the bugs away from the face.

I have the t1s v1. Very nice light. I like the USB-C charging over the t1.
I like the ramping on the T1, and also prefer USB-C but avoid buying anything that requires me to use Micro-USB. I am trying to standardize on USB C.

Only thing I would change on the T1s series is the med mode. I would like to see 120 lumens instead if the 94 lumens. But definitely a great light. But I also find myself grabbing for the OG T1. That's one of my favorite lights of all time. And I love the ramping mode on it also.

Besides the new great colors and knurling on the t1sv2 .... is there a led or reflector or tint difference when compared to the t1sv1? Or is it just an aesthetic upgrade?

I really like those magnetic bases, and the USB-C charging means I’ve got laptop cords all over that can keep it topped off.

I miss my original T1. It quit working sometime back. Need to pick up the T1s v2
I bought a TC15 as a give for my dad 2 years ago and the quality was superb.Can't recommend these flashlights enough
I can see the lanyard loop on the end of the Phoenix being a bit of a minus, but, since these are geared toward EDC, I think, for myself at least, it'd make me more likely to remember to carry if it's hooked to my keyring.

It's good to have small EDC budget light which are so bright. Could be really useful in some situations.

Would pack all my pockets with these.
The T1S (v1) is my EDC, and it is perfect for a pocket light. (I just bought 4 as gifts for some relatives - I'm a believer.) Previously I used the T1, which is also a great light, but unlike the reviewer I prefer the faster step access of the T1S over the slower but more precise ramp of the T1 - nice to have a choice. If I understand correctly the T1S v2 differs from the T1S v1 by the machining and color anodizing and is otherwise the same. Either version is a truly great pocket (or purse) light.
They did seem to fix the one little quirk from the original T1s (and their other preset mode lights.) So another words if you're in the medium mode, for more than just a few seconds, and you want to step up to high. On previous versions it would cycle you all the way back down to low before you could cycle up. On the new T1s V2 version it will step directly up to high from medium mode, without having to go all the way back down to low. It's a very minor thing. But in my opinion a major improvement. Because that was always something that kind of irritated Thrunite fans .
The only thing I worry about with those short t1 and T2 is heat in your hand.
