    Im breaking down the numbers and stats of the guns to make the best Tierlist possible and predict the Competitive Meta for the upcoming launch of The Finals, providing you with valuable insight so you can stay ahead of your enemies and start dominating higher ranks with those S Tier Guns.
    The best weapon might even be the easiest to use so regardless of skill and aim you can climb higher and higher to compete with the best players on the Leaderboard.
    Ill explain some of the hidden stats of weapons, TTK ( Time to kill), Damage numbers allowing you to make informed decisions about which ones suits your playstyle and can give you the upper hand.

    Flamethrower also makes the enemy shots harder to hit you because of the flames so in reality at least from my experience you win a lot of 1v1s.

      you'll never win a 1v1 if you both start shooting at the same time. but because you dont need to aim and can hipfire + focus on movement, i'd argue that it's C tier. easily countered though by forcing the heavy out into an open space. but in an enclosed area, it jumps to A+ or S tier.

      Was also going to mention this. Assuming you are positioning well (keeping to enclosed areas) it’s actually very hard for any class besides heavy to win that fight. This is mostly due to the blinding effect of being shot by said flamethrower. I can confirm that top 100 players can and do use the flamethrower. I’d argue the shotgun does it’s job better, but it’s definitely not D tier

    IMO the heavy shotgun should be in S tier because of the map design as well as heavy utilities. Firstly, except seoul, it's easy to force indoor fights (with some exceptions to some points). And the double shield that every competent heavy uses make closing the gap even easier. I use almost exclusively the shotgun and there has never been a time when i wished I was running a more long range weapon.

    Hammer bros incoming: The cool thing is I think the hammer and such niche weapons have a place in most people gameplay because they can disrupt the meta and totally change the battlefield. They can create total chaos which can be quite undervalued. You aren’t there to win a 1v1, you’re there to disrupt the enemy and help your team win a 3v3. Plus the insane burst if you are defending a close quarters spot cannot be overlooked. One shorting people is powerful.
    Overall I’ve found the hammer to be quite map dependent, with it sucking on skyscrapers where you can’t level an entire building with the enemy team trapped inside it.

      Can CONFIRM! Ended up in a team with a Heavy who would CONSTANTLY use his barge/sledge once we had the objective. Nobody could get anywhere near the thing as the building was just mayhem falling down around you 😂.

    In defense of the hammer, it's also great for destruction, allowing you to choose more combat oriented equipment and abilities, takes no skill or aim and looks cool. Probably still d-tier tho

      Exactly what i was thinking. I made some fun plays of just sitting under the Cashout and destroying the floor below my enemies dropping them right infront of me.

      ​@@swaleesIf it killed quicker I think it could move into niche tier.
      Honestly I am not sure why it does not do more damage compared to it's slow animation.
      The one thing I would buff on it is slightly better damage on primary shot and slightly quicker animation.
      Almost or actual one hit kill lights on secondary shot.
      I try to main Hammer but I don't play ranked as I need to get a team.

    Riot shield is a useful niche weapon. I'm a little sad to see it placed so low, because something that wasn't taken into account is synergy with utility and playstyle. I run what I call the "Combat Medic" loadout. I have riot shield, medgun, defib, landmines, and recon grenade. At first it seems like a limited loadout, maybe even kinda bad, but when I play with good team-mates, I can coordinate our team through difficult pushes and focus on reviving and healing.
    My thought originally was that if I could keep my team-mates alive and shooting they would make up for my lack of kills, so the survivability the riot shield is giving you is benefitting the team, but I soon realized that I was getting just as many if not more kills with the riot shield than with any other gun, not to mention the numerous revives and constant healing. I have never seen anyone using riot shield in-game, only on youtube, and I really hate when a youtuber (not specifically Swalees) uses it for two matches and then calls it trash because they don't know how to use it.
    Also, running riot shield is undeniably more fun than running AK or some other meta. Every kill I get feels rewarding, as strategy or teamwork is usually involved with getting one. You can't go invisible, you can't shoot them, you just have to find a way to close the gap and beat them with a stick. It's a "If I can't shoot you, you can't shoot me" situation, that most people don't know how to play against.
    It is the weirdest hill I'm willing to die on, but riot shield is a useful tool, and if you are playing for the team, you will experience some fantastic moments and really throw people off who don't expect you. I absolutely recommend hopping in a vc with a couple buddies and trying it out. Really fun, good for teamplay, solid B tier for tourneys.
    P.S. Good things DO NOT happen if you run three riot shields. It is an effective team lobotomy in which your entire team scream like monkeys and run around trying to beat people with sticks.

      I can see your build working as a combat medic focussing on teamplay. The shield gives the best survivability for the medic for sure.
      I would love to see 3 people with riotshields dropping from the roof with C4 screaming "FBI OPEN UP"

      I agree. Though I never played the riot shield like you. I play with friends so we can coordinate well. My kind, "niche" (I don't know if it's niche or just bad or just crazy XD) of playstyle is the "where are you looking at?" basically,Riot shield, def, turret, gas, and jump pad: the street is as follows; secure loot, strategically plant turret, gas the room. Jump pas under annoying gaps. And def for mates. 100% player will focus on evading gaz or shooting the turret or landed after a jump right in a mate trap.Fun guaranteed. +1 if your entire team plays turret. Basically, the players don't know where to focus their fire to. Sure, you can hit my turret. But now 1) I gave your position to my team. 2) (The fog) I'm coming while you are distracted 3) you realise that and focus on me 4) now you get shot by the turret. 5) Repeat loop until you get kicked in the ass by the turrets or by my STICK.

      A lot of these stay focused tireless are only good for just that, stats.
      Once you take your own game sense and accuracy you could easily push a D tier into A tier.
      The stats are nice to know and can help inform your decisions but don’t follow it like law.
      If you see success with the riot shield you should use it bro

    I think the sniper should be S tier or at least A tier.
    - It's potential to cloak and pick off incoming teams shouldn't be understated.
    - You can also help your team by picking off enemies running away or make a 1v1 a 2v1 because of your range.
    - You can scout with the zoomed scope to see farther than anyone else to gain valuable map knowledge.
    - At close range you can accurately no scope with it turning it into a shotgun.
    - It is a great flanking and pestering weapon.
    - Combine it with the stun gun and you can easily 1v1 anything.
    It just has a very high skill gap and requires and evasive sneaky play style.

    SA1218 is the best gun in the game as you can set up scenarios where the enemy team has to push for short-range fights
    My squad is all diamond where we play 2x medium with AK for long range while the heavy shields. We swap to protecting the tank with heal and cover fire while the tank is main DPS short range with the SA1218.
    Super well rouned and hard to kill comp with defibs, shield and heal. Let us take vertical from above and below with tanks rpg and C4.
    With zip line and a jump pad for each medium we have a lot of mobilety and always helps our tank to contest high ground and move quickly around the map.

      That is exactly what i had in mind as the Meta comp atm. I would say double med or double Heavy depending on how you play.
      But yes the shotgun melts as soon as enemies come close and with the shield you can swap between long range sustain and close range burst dmg with your team.
      double defib and heal definetly gives much needed survivability.

    While sledgehammer is meant to be a niche, fun pick - I feel like it wouldn't really hurt if it were a solid alternative to RPG so heavy had a more variable kit. Have it be a utility that has 3 or more charges that regenerate either over time or upon damage taken/received.

      Well in my opinion there is. I run hammer or shotgun with dome shield, C4 and mines. Works like a charm. I think the rpg is powerfull, but heavily overrated. I get way more kills, and consistent kills at that withh just mines AND C4 instead of one or the other with rpg

    Hey man this video is super well researched and edited. I would definitely watch a similar style video on the class balance/meta. I feel light is slightly weak at the moment. Definitely the most fun but it’s hard to compete against the heavy’s hp or mediums healing. Would love to see your thoughts!

      @@Blaze-yi5bv I believe cloak deserves to be underpowered. It is extremely frustrating to play against and it feels like some people only choose cloak because they can't get kills without every advantage possible. If cloak was more powerful people would start using it as a crutch, and people would probably just start running recon anyway. I've played a fair amount of cloak and dagger or shotgun, and I think that it's fun to play, but difficult too. It's not a particularly useful kit for just anybody. I can also draw comparisons to TF2 spy gameplay, as I've played quite a bit of spy. In both games the playstyle is hard, inconsistent, and more complicated than a normal class, but excels in the right hands, and I think that's the way it should be.

      you're not supposed to take fights head-on as light, that's the reason they have the fastest TTK guns - you get in on a flank, get a pick, then (hopefully) leave before someone looks at you funny and you die. rinse and repeat. light also has (imo, and i'm NOT a professional player lol) the best utility kit in the game, namely the stun gun and glitch grenade. glitch grenades completely shut down specialisations like the healing beam, heavy's shield(s), turrets etc for several seconds, as well as prevent people from using gadgets at all - very useful if there's a RPG-spamming heavy on the other team. the stun gun is borderline broken, it lowers your sensitivity dramatically (think COD stun grenades), as well as slowing movement and preventing you from aiming down sights, as well as all the effects of the glitch grenade. the cooldown is also absurdly quick. used properly it's a free kill (or guaranteed escape) when you land a shot. so yea i think light definitely has a place in the meta, as glitch grenades are a perfect counter to the H/M/M comp everyone's running rn, you just have to play as a flanker or run harrassment. only change id make is buff light HP to 175 so RPG's cant one shot, but then again im just a salty light main lol.

      True the medium class is in a weird spot with the best Util in the game but suffering in 1v1s because of their weapons.
      I agree compared to all other guns the AKM doesnt shine.
      But AKM is still the strongest gun for the medium class and since it is the most played class in Diamond (typical 2 med 1 Heavy) I put it in S Tier.

    2 medium nade launchers is super broken. It can be inconsistent at times but when it hits it hurts. Pair it up with a turret and a jump pad u can spam all day while being hard to aim. Ultimate defence when cashing out. 2 shots light 3 shots medium 4 shots heavy.

      Right, i was kind of disappointed that there was no data for the nade launchers at all. I think it's the best defence gun in close quarters when you're paired with the shield of a heavy and a hard hitting light.

    I think you left out an important part of the Flamethrower, it counters gas without needing to find a barrel or burning util. As well as the Heavy GL, if you use your util to set up an angle, you can easily deny the objective without peeking with ricochet shot. Otherwise, solid video.

    I’ve been playing this game like crazy (currently top 1000 but last beta top 250) and I’d say this is a pretty good list! My only things I’d change to different spots are the shotgun (S) and flamethrower (A). The shotgun is limited by range but with so many shield effects and the requirement to get close to a cash box means that the range aspect is almost never relevant. I just use cover in buildings or stay off rooftops in those scenarios where they have range, or simply use mesh shield and walk forward. I’d argue it is the best heavy weapon, with Lewis gun being quite close even if it serves a bit of a different role. Flamethrower is a bit of a weird one. It’s DPS is poor, but because of all the things I just mentioned about range not being as big of a problem you can just make it very hard to beat you. Its real strengths are its ability to remove gas (makes it much easier to steal), and the fact that you are effectively blind while being shot by it. While it’s time to kill isn’t rapid it wins simply because you can’t see the target anymore. This can be used in top 100 ranked and my team nearly beat lezduit, mouzer and Nate with that flamethrower. It’s definitely not the best heavy weapon, but it really does excel in the ranked tournament modes. Otherwise super good list! While I’ve seen all of these weapons in ranked before, it’s often due to trolling or simply ignorance. The good ones mentioned are genuinely good choices.

      Yes some guns can be changed depending on how your team plays around it. And yes i would put the shotgun in S tier now. Think i just needed more time to learn it.

    Flamethrower in an indoor cashout station coupled with dome and aps turret is literally unkillable. I had 2 teams run in to us and perish a horrible firey death with my friends constantly beaming me, it's insane dps and the enemy can't see jack. I run it with the force field, dome shield, goo grenades and an rpg. In the open I support my friends with the shield to close the distance between us and the enemies. When we get close enough we unload everything. We played 9 ranked tournaments, and won 5. All of the others we just got unlucky. Flamey is the GOAT for me.

      I always underestimate the Vision block of the Thrower and its consistent Damage. Need to run it with the shield to help the team when you cant shoot.

    An extra "pro" to flamethrower and grenade launcher is that they bypass riot shields and mesh shields. Not too significant, but can be used for counterplay

    I honestly think that saber is much better than riot shield and should be but in c, maybe even b tier. It is one of my favorite weapons, and while i did struggle against three stacks, you can still absolutely destroy people with dashes, you just kind of have to look out for lights and mediums and get close to them with dashes to then use secondary attack and do another dash to make them miss their shots to then strike again with heavy attack, this will kill both mediums and lights and the outplay potential with dashes is insane if you know how to really use them well. Sometimes a tazer gun is necessary to secure a kill tho. The two problems i had the most with are cashouts on moving platforms, and heavies because you stand absolutely no chance against a flamethrower and it is really hard to dodge most of lewis and m60 bullets by dashing when they have such big magazines. Not to mention heavies overall monstrous amounts of health

      I guess the saber could be a bit higher. But as you said it struggles against heavy builds what is the most prominent class in High rank atm and people playing close together.

    as a Owervatch Support Main i have to say that i would put the shield in the Niche tiere. Example: if you team up with two friends who now what you are playing you can heal them stay behind and if sombody gets an angle of atack on you you put your shield down and give a quick call out to you Friend so they can protect you so 70% of the match is me providing a constant source of heal for them

    Great Video,
    Strongly agree with most.
    One thing i like to point out is that most heavy players will bring the utility to force most Teams in close range fights (e.g. Bubble Shield, shield ability, destruction of the environment around the cashout Stations, ...) and we currently see way too few people using Glitch Grenades to properly answer this. Making the shotgun an S Tier Level in my view.
    Also i had someone in my team with Sword getting Top 400 (Diamond) position on CB2 leaderboard. But this weapon will greatly depend on how your Team works and communicates with each other.

    You definitely need to reuse the medium and light shotgun. The sub 3 shot potential with crazy movement makes them insane picks. They do so much damage if you can hit your shots. 144 on the 1887 and 130 on the db with a clean body shot. Just pick off the team one by one by flanking or playing off of your heavy's shield.

      The light shotgun is just really bad compared to other SGs, you can’t really teamfight with it and you need to be in literally knife range for it to be able to 2 shot. The medium one however is pretty good because it has decent range and good spread, and with good movement it can be really good

    Idk about that flame thrower cause most fights take place indoors your accounting for it as a weapon not really how it preforms because it’s night and day when fighting with it indoors. Burn lasts insanely long, IF EVEN ONE GOOP GRENADE IS ON THE OBJ. The entire building is coming down and your burning to death if your even near the building.

      I have definetly seen more of the Flamethrower lately. Indoor it is a beast and it also impairs the vision if you aim at the head.
      It can compete with weapons on S Tier in certain situations but if the cashout is on elevated platforms its hard to get value.

    I feel the LH1, V9S and AKM could all be slightly nerfed, like a small magazine size reduction.And I don't really know how to feel about the Heavy shotgun but it could also probably be nerfed.

      I do think the Light guns deserve their high dmg output because of the low HP of that class.
      The shotgun on heavy definetly needs a nerf in my opinion since there is no real downside to that gun other than the range.

      Hear me out here, LH1 we could wait a bit. But I can agree on more recoil as a start.
      V9S, I would try to knock it to be a one-person assassination gun. Mostly when, like the light class is intended for, you can ambush a unaware enemy for a pick. Try to take someone head-on? Just use the damn battle rifle already, otherwise you'll likely lose.

      Halved the mag capacity to a reasonable IRL standard of 12 shots. (Or if you want to match the Laugo Alien, its IRL counterpart, more; Around 17 shots). Then make it so only one heavy kill can be obtained with a full bodyshot mag dump. Keeps it easy to use, but that ease of use limits its ability to kill several people without constant headshots.

    This is a great video, well done. My only disagreement is on the flamethrower. If you’ve got a med healer on your squad running with you, it’s nearly unstoppable if you’re playing objectives. Idk how it’ll stack up upon release and there is a more competitive scene, but i had 20+ kills in 4 straight games abusing the flamethrower. And felt like an a-hole doing lmao

    at the start of the playtest i was just sitting on a crane with a sniper and killing half of the lobby with it at over a cashout. but people have got more aware now and i cant just sit their and not get shot. so i have it in my reserve slot in case i get a good opportunity with a line of sight to cashout at a distance. but for most fights xp-54 is good for me. although 1 tapping lights with a headshot is also quite good

    I like that you included the ttk of each weapon.
    And i might consider switching from medium to light class at launch.
    I've been using the medium shotgun, but it was so inconsistent in the beta and it doesn't have a very high dmg output. For my playstyle i think the lh-11 marksman would suit very well.

    Very good list. Can tell you put in a lot of time into this tier list, and this is very much in line with my thinking. Revolver helped me go on a 6-tournament win streak on my last day in grinding for Diamond in Closed Beta 1, so it's the most solid in the A tier. M11 IMO should be in B tier for the horrid range and accuracy in comparison to the XP-54, despite its better reload speed and magazine size, and is vastly inferior to the V9S.

    Knife and sword need to swap. Knife is almost trolling with how short range it is but the sword is actually usable. Other than that good tier list. It's a pretty objective one.

      I think after playing abit more knife and sword are pretty similar but its the burst dmg that makes the knife strong while consistent hits make the sword strong.

    if you think the saber is bad against an organized 3 stack you aren't playing it right. if you run into a 3 stack all you have to do is dismantle them and take them down. there are so many tools at your disposal to separate and destroy. you can also double dash with the secondary fire giving you insane distance, along with the hurtbox of the saber staying out for the entire animation. If you are fast enough you can hit every enemy on the team with one secondary fire. it is also much more reliable than the knife.

    Only thing I disagree with is the double barrel since it’s TTK can potentially 2 shot all classes, and one shot lights very consistently and 2 shot mediums from a good 10 meters out. Issue is range and the low health pool of light, but I feel an oversight made is that the grapple and dash can be used to close the distance. Especially for a class like heavy where you can dash around them and easily get a 3 shot or possibly a 2 if you’re aim is good enough.
    Grapple makes landing shots very very consistent since you can control your movement so well.
    Another oversight is the “range” argument seems a bit odd since this game is severely close range. You aren’t fighting at more than 10-15 meters at 95% of the objectives, whether it be a cash out or a vault. The range isn’t an issue for both medium and light classes, since you can very consistently 2 tap them.
    If the range is an issue, you can expend grapple or 1-2 dashes to close the distance, use goo grenades, or use positioning and lights speed to just move around the map to a better position and secure an easy 1-2 tap. It’s the same reason I found the sniper bad that I found the shotgun good. Range isn’t ever an issue since you’re always fighting at point blank range.
    It’s why the flamethrower is deemed “over powered” even though it’s not really all that. It’s just a close ranged weapon and most objectives you’re not fighting from 20-30 meters out, and if you are 30 meters out, a single grapple or a bounce pad can close the distance in a matter of seconds.

    I'm not trying to be rude here at all, just realistic, but you're way off base with what you said about the XP-54 being better on controller because the recoil is so manageable. Idk what game you're playing, but the XP-54 has exponentially worse recoil than any gun in the game except for the LH1. It's one of the least "manageable" guns I've ever seen in any game comparative to its damage and range. I've played exclusively ever on console, and like have played MANYmany fps games lol. I could not believe what I was hearing when you said that😂

    super well done teirlist and I like the research. It definitely validated some of the feelings I was getting from playing. Its always cool to see stuff like this. I had a bunch of fun with some of the lower ranked weapons just messing around but I can definitely see that they fall of in ranked. understandably people become a lot more focused on winning then messing around. I hope they nerf the magazine size of the light pistol because pared with dash its basically an everything counter but it can be super fun to use. Thanks for the vid.

    I definitely think light's shotgun is an A tier. It can one shot light, two shot medium and heavy in cqb. If you combine it with good movement, cloak and taser it can definitely wipe out an entire team. Of course its a risky weapon to use and you have to position yourself well but whilst playing light you can't win fair fights in my opinion so shotgun suits the light very well.

    Sledge deserves higher imo, cus its not always about dps, the sledge can be used to get a vault down to a lower level for more cover without wasting a grenade, damaging yourself and your teammates

    I think the most underrated and slept on weapon in this tier list and should be much much higher is the heavy grenade launcher, at least B tier. It's strength isn't shown on damage graphs and charts and is definitely the most punishing weapon when played improperly, because often times grenades will bounce in your face and damage you when first learning the weapon as well as having an extremely weak hole in it's kit where close range encounters mean you die, but the weapon has insane power and a niche that no other weapon in the game has: it can kill someone you cannot visibly look at. I cannot tell you how many lights I have killed by retreating up a staircase and using the bounce to hit directly beneath me and kill them for trying to pursue. It has perfect accuracy from the hip fire, meaning you don't have to waste time and movement speed in engagements and can just kite and retreat and booby trap their entire path towards you. It is extremely strong when played in the right hands and I think someone who has taken the time to master the projectile, the bounce and the timing it will dominate tournaments just as much as any S tier weapon. It just takes a different brain and playstyle from anything else in the game. It is my favorite weapon and I have clutched tournament wins with it a few times.

    I've been playing V9S cloak since +vanish since the last open beta and absolutely loving it. For me it feels like a seriously fast paced kill on all classes in close ranges, and a real good damager on medium ranges as the occational headshot tends to land. If point blank you just hipfire and everything will hit the opponent. Then simply cloaking to reload or disengage before it gets too heated is amazing. I came for fast paced combat and that loadout is exactly what i wanted

    When the time to kill is that close between ak and the pistol for example, it doesn’t really make a difference that much unless the ak guy has the slowest reactions and can’t react in time

      yes but if you miss one shot on the Revo its 1/6th of your damage potential gone. and it instantly shoots to over 2 seconds.

    What do you mean "they'll play longer range"? That's not possible when 90% of the cash outs are in buildings and you are defending. Even if you are attacking you just run up the stairs and force close range. It's the most broken of broken weapon and honestly I'd say it's even viable at mid range. It's insane, and im talking from experience.
    Only that 10% of the time when the cash out is outside in an open field (for example, the map modifier for when the church is broken down) then it's really bad but like I said it's very rare for cash outs to be out like that. Most of this game is played at close range or it could easily be manipulated to be close range with decent game sense. If they don't nerf that gun next beta/full release there's going to be some issues. We'll see what happens though

    Imma make a bold statement and say that the light DB deserves niche tier. with good movement with a grapple you can get in and pick off a single person like with the dagger and just absolutely disappear a moment later. I've used it to clutch up multiple times too when stopping steal zipping across the cashout and blasting them from above as I pass over them. Really hard to use in a full frontal fight but it can literally two tap a heavy. a niche pick nonetheless.

    In this game I think long to mid range is more niche than close range. So many fights end up being close range that I feel in-transit fights that benefit the ak are more niche than fights that would benefit a shotgun

    I think double barrel is honestly meta when used right. It can make crazy plays sometimes. Pistol is the most consistent though for all situations.

    I've been really trying to make the medium nade launcher work but man it's minimum damage sometimes is so insanely low I think if they made the minimum damage like 20-30% higher and or made it 5-6 shots instead of 4 it would be an easy A tier. It feels so good to 3 shot a medium class but ahhhh when you have to use 4 shots on them it feels so bad. And the reload when it's completely empty..... hope they buff next beta or full release

    Ok, after using mele exclusively for almost 25 hours this beta I think the sword has more potential than the knife in top tier play. I use dash instead of cloak because cloak is pretty easy to spot so good players will just see you. The reason I think sword is better is, knife is useless if people are aware that you have a knife. The counter is just to turn around after all. It takes insane skill to consistently get backstabs too, not even considering how sketchy the crit hit zone is.
    Sword on the other hand can one shot lights from any angle (technically), 2 shot mediums and… well you just don’t try to kill a heavy without a taser and even then it’s iffy. But knife can’t even one shot heavy’s anyway so it doesn’t matter. I find sword to be way more consistent and can be played as a hit and run character always threatening that un exchanged 140 damage. I do think it is an absurd high skill roll to play and it would be much easier to just have a gun, but I love mele and will keep grinding it and experimenting with it. Hope others do too!!

      @@swalees Im still developing the play style and its by no means tried and tested. Still experimenting with different strats and builds. I have found some interesting tech for both sword and knife to make them more viable. I also haven't played any ranked at all with mele. Im still learning which fights are winable and which should be avoided. But ya I'd be down to share what I've learned with everyone somehow wether I make a vid myself or something else. Idk why I love mele so much, I think its just really challenging and satisfying when it goes well but I plan on maining mele in full release.

    Imo the grenade launcher for heavy is A at least , impacting an opponent blows right away and it’s amazing for staying away from the cash out and just unloading from afar and does a lot of AoE as well to any teams hoarding around it , I’ve had a real good time using it and no one knows how to handle it

    You made a point I feel in the game, medium has the worst guns. Really none of the guns shine on medium, just useable. The heavy and the light class both have multiple guns and gadgets that are very solid. As soon as they buff mediums guns a bit more I think mediums will become the meta because the kit on medium is so flexible. Makes me want to play light or heavy though but since I'm to casual for ranked I enjoy the recon senses and that level of info is hard to give up. Won tons of games by having better position due to that info.

    One thing that I feel like the DPS idea misses is you’re probably spending 66% of the time not fighting a heavy. So heavy weapons having a lower dps than light/medium is compensated by them having considerably more health.
    It doesn’t matter if the m60 has a 2 seconds ttk because if you’re fighting a light that means it’s going to be UNDER 1 due to the health difference. It’s the reason the light class has the “strongest” weapons because they are Sooo much squishier.

    Subscribed! Thanks for sharing the data. I do think the heavy shotgun is OP which in fact it is. I believe most guns could be nerfed/buffed, but maybe all of them are well-balanced right now even in high rank? Melee weapons do fall behind, so I would buff them substantially like increased running speed, and more damage for the secondary attack with a knife if a backstab attempt was failed because right now the damage output is the same as a primary attack.
    Would love to see a tier list for specialization and gadgets, especially the latter!

      Tierlist for Gadgets will be coming.
      Shotgun is defo OP ive been running it more and more the past few days
      More sprint speed on Melee would be a really interesting balance change. Atleast for heavy and Med since they have no Movement options.

    in my opinion, all the weapons in the game are well balanced and do not require any special changes. There will always be a gun with less time to kill or with a larger magazine. Here you should focus more on your personal playing style and what you like best. I'm sure you can win with any weapon, the main thing is to play with it correctly and according to the situation

      Heavy shotgun definitely needs a nerf. Some guns need a slight buff. But i would say that overall, the balance is good.

    The medium nade Launcher got me into the finals (not on competitive), but we lost because we were one teammate short
