theyre good if youre a good player, but thats the same with most weapons. but theyre still probably the worst light weapon. the alt click especially needs changing. you should be able to charge and release on command
I think lewis gun also has better and clear iron sights than M60. And less recoil makes it more accurate and long range weapon than anything. I have beamed player's from far away using Lewis gun than AKM and Fcar.
@@3692Haloyou’re probably focusing too hard on horizontal recoil and not enough on vertical recoil, the Lewis gun has much less horizontal recoil than other weapons and makes up for it with much more vertical recoil if that helps
in regards to the sa12, if you are close enough, when it needs to pump do a melee instead, it does the pump and deals damage during that melee attack without having to do the animation for the pump
the problem with snipers is always 'hitting your shots' but with hitscan in this game its a great option at all ranges + really good paired with movement and corner peaks
I really dislike sniping in this game for the most part, not so much mechanically but it feels pretty pointless and spiteful when your main goal isn't to frag out. also deeply unfun to play against
main problem with the sniper is that it only one shots lights, which use cloak alot, which counters the sniper. mediums don't get oneshot, and good mediums won't let u hit them twice. Also u need to play away from the objective even tho your role as light on defend is to interupt steals with stun gun. The gun just doesn't make sense.
@@SherryDC I find the main use is as a heavy killer when paired with cloak. Since they're slower its often easier to headshot them and catch them off guard for an easy team finish
I agree with your choices and reasons why! I also want to add that the huge mag size for the M60 is great for close-mid range when there's a lot of chaos, and multiple teams fighting. I've had 5 kills in a row with it without reloading, and the other guns don't really accomplish that.

@@Thawhid i wish CS T's had a second, viable option, like CTs with suppressed/unS. both sides have a third viable "eco" rifle and everyone has 3-4 viable pistols. so with my "added" T side rifle, that brings us 10 guns, 4 of which you ONLY use on pistol rounds. so, realistically 6 guns, but really only 4 Rifles(M4/M4s(nearly identical in use, AK and my dream Ak alt). i forgot the awp but whatever. millions of players have been perfectly happy competing in "aim duels" rather than "wep build/attachment" duels. imo The Finals already feels like its in an amazing spot in terms of build/playstyle variability. i just dont want to lose the purity that comes with skill battles that was lost with 3 MILLION GUNS AND ATTACHMENTS... CALL OF DUTY!

One pretty useful tip for the SA1216 is when you shoot 3 times and you have 1 bullet left before it pumps, you can actually just hit the reload button, instantly switch your gun out and back and you'll have 4 bullets ready to be shot again. It's really really nice.
Also a tip for the SA1216, it has no increased headshot damage, so aim it at the body, you'll do the same damage if not more because you will have more area to hit with your pellets.

Played a round with sniper, and the last objective was in a flying buliding. It got raken down, and the objective was basically in the open. We had the objective, but both my teammates died. I set up on a nearby building, and watched the other 3 teams fight over the objective, and everytime a player started defusing, i took my time, aimed at their heads, came out of cloaked, and bang😂 got 4 kills and won rhe match, solo against 3 squads. So sniper has it's uses, but definetly not the best in normal circumstances
As a light main I use either dashing or active invisibility with sword and honestly if you get the sword mechanics down you can easily team wipe just about anyone. I consistently win games and haven’t struggled in tourneys yet
It's not really a pump, it's a crazy revolving magazine lol Each tube holds 4 shells and you're rotating to the next tube every 4 shots. I've honestly never seen this gun before but damn, cool design. Edit: found what it's based on - SRM1216 if anyone is interested
Some of these weapons have terrible spikes in their recoil, pulling hard to the left or right, such as the FCAR after about 5 shots. Makes the nicer sight seem pointless! Are there any tricks to help track moving targets with harsh recoil like that? Sometimes the FCAR just feels like its worse than the AKM in every way... My skill issue.
So kind of weird that you want the recoil to come back down if you're not used to controlling recoil, by burst firing, but at the same time the recoil improves drastically at the end of the mag lol
Best guns: Heavy : SA1216, Lewis Gun Medium: akm best choice, second fcar but arguable Light: close range(V9S or XP-54) (SH1900 and cloak) Long range: SR-84 with grapple ability , LH1 underrated
i feel like for light the lh1 is the best all around option. good at all ranges, solid ttk, nice iron sights, mag size can be a little small but for light if youre fighting more than one person you’re probably dead anyways. going invis and being able to delete someone before they even turn around is incredibly easy with this weapon considering recoil isnt much of an issue as well
Yeah but the nerf in fire rate made it so much worse bro. It’s harder to use now for sure. I think the mp5 is definitely the best gun now bc in the beta the best gun was def the dmr

Throwing knives are actually pretty good. They allow the mobility and strafe potential as melee weapons but still can poke at range. It takes time getting used to the windup and the projectile speed but once you do its really powerful.
they really aren't compared to the other options, sure u can pop of with them but u need to be to close to the enemy to still be less consistent than the double barrel or pistol. They are fun but not good, at least if the opponents know how to shoot back
@acegikm2274 right click is fully accurate in midair unlike left click. You can also sprint and slide during the wind up. It's still not great but it has its moments
Great video. Agreed with everything except the M11. If the XP-54 is like the FCAR as you say, then the M11 is most certainly like the AKM. Guns of these choice combined with invis are mostly meant to be close range, which you would then likely hip fire. So recoil and accuracy don't matter as much. Thus M11 has a higher fire rate and more ammo, which means more potential to get a kill. I always get a kill with the full mag of the M11, but with XP it's a hit or miss sometimes. So for Light (being the class most complicated to choose a weapon) I really think there are only three options: the V9S (only if you're skilled enough), the M11, or the SH1900
I would say the best part about this game is by far the creativity of the user. The hammer is the perfect example of this it is almost only pure ultilty based alowing the heavy to do stuff other class just cant like destoying the roof to drop the objective or destroying floor to make it harder to steal the bank while still destroying people or suprising people with the heavy charge.
I was using the throwing knives but they're too inconsistent with their damage. Sometimes two throws at close range kills a medium....other times, two throws at point blank range still leaves them a little health, enough to turn around and kill you before you can throw a 3rd time.
I’m a light Main and my build goes something along the lines of the V9S with cloak, flash, breach and stun and basically the way I play is I flash cloak behind them stun them and melt them works almost every time and for the breach I either use it to flank through walls or stick it to the cash out and bomb anyone trynna steal last second try it out
Happy to see you play The Finals. I tried it out earlier today and I’m hooked. I started playing apex on console in August and played mobile before that and love Apex but it’s in a horrible state rn. The Finals just feels so fresh and dynamic with it’s gameplay.
The heavy shotgun is what I use, but I never roll with the shield. Charge is too much fun for me, it can close distances well, deal good damage, and I use it all the time instead of going through doors especially when I know where the enemy on the other side of the wall is. I also use mines to cover my weak areas in a room and use them as an alarm system for enemies.
When I’m feeling spicy I usually go for the revolver. She may only have 6 shots but oh boy does she deliver on headshot damage and satisfaction even with hip-fire once you tame her of course. All I’m missing is a cowboys hat
Wait why is m11 not good? It has better ttk than xp-54 so it makes it great for close range. IMO for an aggressive playstyle is arguably better. Idk why u said it has low dmg profile?
Bro, the pistol I just unlocked it I’ve been using it. This is the most OP thing. If you have a good trigger finger it fries it can kill heavies faster than the Mac 11.

Tried playing with xp-54. Always does enough damage to almost kill and then I have to reload which gets me killed. I’m not on pc so my aim isn’t as good

coming from 3k hours in counterstrike, my friend introduced me to the finals yesterday, and i really struggle with getting kills. Not because the aim isnt there obviously, but somehow, especially with the ak everyone says is so good, i struggle at literally any distance, it just feels wobbly and not really that crisp as i am used to from cs. Also the time it takes to kill someone feels somewhat "unsatisfying"... I really want to give the game a good chance because my friend likes it so much but yesterday evening wasnt really that much fun for me, and i cant even really say why i struggle, because the aim and movement is there. Any tips?
@@k2carveitup It’s my guess simply because I haven’t seen it mid game yet, I also experienced glitches with the healing beam on medium when swapping too quickly to the gun, also in the firing range. Don’t take my word for it necessarily, if I see it mid game I’ll come back and let you know to stay away for now

As a typical heavy enjoyer, hammer is ze best. Cashout is at the top of the building? Destroy the damn building. Now it's hell to defend because of rubble. Best paired up with charge for more environmental damage.
The flamethrower is the best weapon and I can tell from my last 24 hours of playing that it has utility and overtime damage that can really melt multiple people at once. It destroys gas and goo as well It's my personal best weapon for the heavy.
might be good for you but in general its a bad weapon, lights will stun gun you and destroy you. You need the heavy pump or lewis to defend against stun gun, flamethrower just doesnt have the range for that.
The Lewis gun is the best in the entire game if you are actually good at this game. Might have 47 rounds in it but that’s all you need for a full team wipe on all heavy’s. That’s all you need to know. I have consistent 30+ kill gameplays even in regular bank-it modes with only that gun
Im a heavy player, and i only use the hammer i already have all the prestiges with the hammer and in some maps as Las vegas its a nightmare play it a hammer cuz lights and mediums literally disapear me in a mid or long distance for that the tackle perk it's the best cuz u can scape or do a long distance shorter to kill them
Considering your enemies will be moving around and dodging your shots then the SCAR's magazine is a joke, it could be buffed to a minimum of 25, ideally 30.
Personally I'd rather see it get a damage buff and firerate reduction than a mag size increase, same TTK just more ammo efficient. I think it'd start feeling a little too similar to the AKM with a thirty round magazine

You solved your own problem in your message lol. At long range fire in a quick 5 round burst. To keep the recoil under control.
Funny thing is fcar kind of gets near zero vertical recoil with only a little bit of sideways around the last 1/3 of the mag

the right click is essentially useless, which they could fix by letting you hold it and let go when you want to throw them

lh1 still have a great ttk, all bodyshots on a medium was 0.9 secs, now is 1 sec, and it can 2 taps lights

Yeah, I tried to play Apex after not playing for a few years, and now it feels like a looting simulator. This game has a lot more combat.

why does everyone disregard the 1 shot potential of the dagger? paired with cloak it can wipe a team incredibly fast.

Not because the aim isnt there obviously, but somehow, especially with the ak everyone says is so good, i struggle at literally any distance, it just feels wobbly and not really that crisp as i am used to from cs. Also the time it takes to kill someone feels somewhat "unsatisfying"... I really want to give the game a good chance because my friend likes it so much but yesterday evening wasnt really that much fun for me, and i cant even really say why i struggle, because the aim and movement is there. Any tips?
The gun being way off center is a firing range bug I got too
This is only for the firing range? I've been meaning to buy the mesh shield but because of this glitch I couldn't fix, I haven't yet
@@k2carveitup It’s my guess simply because I haven’t seen it mid game yet, I also experienced glitches with the healing beam on medium when swapping too quickly to the gun, also in the firing range. Don’t take my word for it necessarily, if I see it mid game I’ll come back and let you know to stay away for now

I have had the same glitch where the gun disappears. I can only get it to come back by switching classes

As a typical heavy enjoyer, hammer is ze best. Cashout is at the top of the building? Destroy the damn building. Now it's hell to defend because of rubble.
Best paired up with charge for more environmental damage.
The flamethrower is the best weapon and I can tell from my last 24 hours of playing that it has utility and overtime damage that can really melt multiple people at once. It destroys gas and goo as well It's my personal best weapon for the heavy.
might be good for you but in general its a bad weapon, lights will stun gun you and destroy you. You need the heavy pump or lewis to defend against stun gun, flamethrower just doesnt have the range for that.

imo Scar should deal more damage instead of more rounds. It has same damage output with AK but in real life Scar uses more powerful caliber.

The Lewis gun is the best in the entire game if you are actually good at this game. Might have 47 rounds in it but that’s all you need for a full team wipe on all heavy’s. That’s all you need to know. I have consistent 30+ kill gameplays even in regular bank-it modes with only that gun

the bug you encountered is "true first person" it happens sometimes, for me it happened when i emoted in the firing range/practice range

Im a heavy player, and i only use the hammer i already have all the prestiges with the hammer and in some maps as Las vegas its a nightmare play it a hammer cuz lights and mediums literally disapear me in a mid or long distance for that the tackle perk it's the best cuz u can scape or do a long distance shorter to kill them

The sniper is literally one of the best guns in the game if you can flick and quick scope
I run with the mini shot gun it makes getting clips for my channel the most fun
Don’t aim for the head with shotguns aim for the torso headshot damage doesn’t exist for shotguns
Considering your enemies will be moving around and dodging your shots then the SCAR's magazine is a joke, it could be buffed to a minimum of 25, ideally 30.
Personally I'd rather see it get a damage buff and firerate reduction than a mag size increase, same TTK just more ammo efficient. I think it'd start feeling a little too similar to the AKM with a thirty round magazine

People that shrug off the sledgehammer aren't using it properly and haven't met a heavy using it right yet

Shotguns dont hav headshot multiplier. U need to go for chest shots to hit all the pellets rather than going for headshots

Really need more weapons to be added within the next 3-6 months. These guns are gonna become exhausting.
