I take it that was an enamel you used on the Cyberman. Because the curing process works by bonding to the surface beneath and it simply isn't capable to bond with PVC that will always remain tacky. It might be possible to use an acrylic layer to seal the surface and then add a top layer of enamel, although I haven't experimented with that personally as I moved away from using enamels entirely years ago.
These are awesome, very well done! Do you paint straight onto the figure or should they be primed first? Do you recommend any particular paints? (Sorry for the questions, I’m hoping to start making custom figures myself)
