I love Dr. Hook but don't ever remember seeing this one, always liked that they didn't just come on to play their hits or promote their next record. They just played stuff they loved to play. thanks Midnight Special
I love Dr. Hook. I love how they are almost always stoned when they perform. And yes, anybody who has ever smoked weed will tell you they are baked in this performance, I’m by no means judging, it’s just a fact! Rock on boys!🎸🎶🎵💕
@@ROLtheWolf Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show, shortened to just Dr. Hook, formed in Union City, New Jersey in 1968. They signed with Capitol records in 1975 & they disbanded in 1985. They were NEVER billed as being from New Orleans! And believe me, they were stoned during this performance. Do your homework before you comment again.
@@ROLtheWolf Why? Because I pointed out what an idiot you are?? Or that I was more intelligent than you? It’s simple dude, you need to know the truth about what you are saying before commenting on something you know nothing about or just guessing on the subject. Somebody’s filling prescriptions behind the stage, love their songs, an entirely entertaining live band. 😂 🤣 My favorite song of theirs is 1979 “When You’re in Love With a Beautiful Woman”, the lyrics are so very true, especially with older bosses & sexual harassment on the job, gees.
Umm~ Sylvia’s Mother, Sharing the night together, When you’re in love with a beautiful woman, Only sixteen, Baby makes her blue jeans talk, Sexy Eyes. Not 1 hit wonders ol’ buddy.
@@kloozman A rather spooky fact, because the band was massively in Top 40 all the time around. So, legions of weird fans in the light of so harsh statistics.

I hope they have inlove with a beautiful woman and Sylvia’s mother in this archive of live performances. I keep my fingers crossed everyday 🤞🏻

Willie Dixon and Koko Taylor recorded the original (1967) and is well worth listening to.
B-A-K-E-D !!!
The doctor is in! 🎶
Dr.Hook at their very best please put on more Hook😂
Dr Hook opening for Canned Heat would have been an awesome ticket
I honestly think it might have been the other way around though
Happy birthday to you, Dennis.❤🎉
Never heard of this one. Love it!

You don’t find anyone doing anything like this anymore. Everything is boring now.
These guys are stoned out of there mind !
😆😆😂😂 They must have found some of that good medicine.😆😆
They always were! They were one hell of a live band tho!

I bet these guys were straight edge. 😂
Party all the way to the bank!!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thinly disguised cover of St James Infirmary after there was a run on the dispensary perhaps ? 🤔
Eric Carmen died. Bummer.
Andre' the no-so Giant on drums
He does look like him, I was thinking the same thing!
Dr Alcoweed
Weed, alcohol, and heroin.
Stoned, as always 😂
NOW I know where I saw this guy before. The first time is when I initially screened, “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.” That’s it.
ACID at it's finest
These guys always confused me.
They each sound like the other one should, based on their appearance.
Sort of like a prototype for the Butthole Surfers. Teetering on the brink of collapse.
This video is a cautionary tale of the dangers of Muriatic Acid. On your pool and on your brain. Oh, did I write “Muriatic”? My bad.
One hit wonders.

You obviously did NOT live far enough out on the edge, just sayin.

Well I’m not sure that was entertaining..? I’m sure they were supposed to be funny but…NOT
Only funny if you were as high as they were. The only people I knew that liked Dr Hook were fucking weird
"Sexy Eyes" is entertaining.
