I first heard Sylvia's mother when I was going through a divorce and related to the operator saying 40/ cents more till I had enough and left the phone.1ringing as I walked away, Now 40+ years later everyone has memories as to what brought us to where we are now,
My first Dr. Hook album was " A little bit more " on 8 track! Had a 4 speaker system in my '71 dodge charger! Seems a long time ago, but there music is timeless! Awesome interview!!
I so love this man. I swear, whenever he was out there there singing and doing his thing (ie entertaining!!), you always knew it was coming from every bit of who he was. Sure do miss that.
What a terrific interview! Dennis seemed so relaxed and very natural. It felt like we were getting insight into the real person behind the music, which as a fan, I appreciate. He relayed his stories in an upbeat, funny way. I enjoyed his sense of humor and wit very much. Seems like the kind of guy you could enjoy chatting and laughing with for hours.
It seems like he is talking to family and that's exactly what makes him so special to the fans and the fact that he's so adorable and talented just adds to the Love
Just following Dennis Locoriere as I always loved Dr. Hook. So great he's still in music! Could listen to him forever. Such a lively and nice man and wish him all the best. THANKS for the AWESOME music Dennis (then and now). God bless. Georgina
Dennis is Dennis, he is who you see. on stage with dr. hook, now by himself and during interviews. Dennis is the real thing and that is why we stay with him and those that follow us will too, far past the end.
This is the best interview I’ve seen with Dennis. He was like talking to a friend. He’s not egotistical or rude. He’s very much comes across as a guy who felt his way through life with a kind heart & fairness. Also very good looking with doesn’t hurt his image either 😂 ❤
I rediscovered Dennis a few months ago when the coronovirus and political matters seemed overwhelming. He is so very interesting and talented. All of his 70s music is great and his music after Dr Hook broke up as well. I just love him.
Hey Betty. I agree his songs have pulled us all through rough times and he still is. Gotta Love him. Check out the Utube Video of Dr Hook on Shel Silverstein boat. Awesome live versions of Carrie me Carrie, Silvia's Mother and one more song sung in the nude. Awesome Hilarious and Heartwarming🎸😘
I love him ! I don't know him personally but he's such an attractive man with a good heart from the interviews that I've seen and he is an amazing singer. I'm glad he decided to go on his own and and do what he wanted to do and relax and settle down . He's like a fine bottle of wine gets better with age! What a beautiful man
Huge fan in Ozzie land , dunno why after 40 years today I had wild colonial boy in my head......and found this interview......huge thanks .......wished I actually went and seen them here inAUSTRAYALA
Tune into Dr Hook and the Medicine Show on Shel Silverstein's boat. Rare footage of Carrie Me Carrie Silvia's Mother and a couple other crazy songs performed in the buff. Gotta see this ****. It is so heartwarming and funny. Stay well!
I LOVE Dennis' music but I wish he would also explore his other talents as well. If anybody should have a regular podcast/talk show it should be Dennis. He's interesting, FUNNY, insightful, articulate, charming, all of it. Maybe he thinks it would be to hard to get going but it seems like everybody and his brother has a podcast these days - there's no reason he can't do it. If he wants to of course.
🥀Beautiful interview I love learning about the ppl I listen to all the time. I love the way he tells his stories he knows how to keep his fans happy. 🥀✌🥀☝️
Dennis is right. A healthy father figure is REALLY important for kids, especially boys. "Dad energy" is real, and it's vastly different from "Mom energy". Kids needs BOTH.
I understand Geminis . I really do , and I love them so much . They are crazy, and inspirational . They truly are mercurial. Mercury's children . You cannot shut them the fuck up ! But if they are pure , nice gems ... You won't want to .
love this

Dennis is one fabulous man I've loved him all my life, his voice is unique. Dr Hook is the best group ever, i would have loved to have meet them .❤❤😊
I so love this man. I swear, whenever he was out there there singing and doing his thing (ie entertaining!!), you always knew it was coming from every bit of who he was. Sure do miss that.
Oh how I love Dennis's voice. I listen to him often. My favorite singer.
I’m glad Dennis stuck to his music. Blessed us all these years with great music and his fabulous personality.
SO HANDSOME, BEAUTIFUL EYES. LOVE ALL HIS MUSIC. SUCH A WONDERFUL LAUGH.
He’s my step grandad
He could rub my tired shoulders any time

This is without a doubt the most entertaining interview I’ve ever heard
Dennis is Dennis, he is who you see. on stage with dr. hook, now by himself and during interviews. Dennis is the real thing and that is why we stay with him and those that follow us will too, far past the end.
Do you know him?
Dr. Hook would have never made it big without Dennis’s great vocals. Ray was a great showman but Dennis brought the show home!
And now he lives a rather low key life in the UK
And together they made Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show. I love Dennis too but together they created great music. Stay Well☺️

loved them years again,
Charisma for days!! This doesn't even seem like an interview...more like hanging out having a conversation. Wish he did more of this
You never faded away here. You left us.
Hasent changed that much. Looks great for 71. Distinctive voice . No songs like this anymore.
He was 53 when this was made
What a truly beautiful man love to meet him absolutely fantastic singer ❤
Brilliant, could listen to Dennis all day!
So good! Love Dennis.
he gives a great interview!
I love him ! I don't know him personally but he's such an attractive man with a good heart from the interviews that I've seen and he is an amazing singer. I'm glad he decided to go on his own and and do what he wanted to do and relax and settle down . He's like a fine bottle of wine gets better with age! What a beautiful man
Dennis you were the person who carried that band , and I will say that without you singing all those songs who knows if there would have exist
Huge fan in Ozzie land , dunno why after 40 years today I had wild colonial boy in my head......and found this interview......huge thanks .......wished I actually went and seen them here inAUSTRAYALA
Wonderful listen
You're so cute, Dennis! What a great personality;. I love your sense of humor, always!!!
Dennis will always be my first love
You are right times have changed so much ! Rocks and sticks back in my day, dont know how to be a key board warrior lol
Beautiful man really I love Dr.Hook
Great interview, dennis, please tell me why yall walked away from America, ( me)
Good stuff! I’m stunned that the voice I thought was Ray Sawyers was Dennis!
Dennis I get that same “feeling” when I hear you sing Sylvia’s Mother and Girls can get it and When You’re In Love (WABW)
Tune into Dr Hook and the Medicine Show on Shel Silverstein's boat. Rare footage of Carrie Me Carrie Silvia's Mother and a couple other crazy songs performed in the buff. Gotta see this ****. It is so heartwarming and funny. Stay well!
Amo Dennis Locorriere ontem, hoje e sempre!
I love his voice.

I love a poignant narrative . JONI !!!♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
One of the best interviews I've listened to, seems Dennis is a very talented man.
🥀Beautiful interview I love learning about the ppl I listen to all the time. I love the way he tells his stories he knows how to keep his fans happy. 🥀✌🥀☝️
Happy Birthday Dennis!
Out of the dark is my favourite album by him,it's great.
You are awesome Dude
Never saw this. Loved it!
All I know about Dennis is he bought his buddy a real nice guitar. What a guy!
Sounds like you had a great life. I'm sure there were pain and tears.
damn great band lots off talented musicians makes me feel old
Ray was the persona and Dennis was the voice, of Dr. Hook. It was what it was.
Love u
Dennis Locorrier is Dr. Hook!
Or Captain Hook ARRRR!
AMEN!
Negative
Dennis lindoooo
I had a crush on him in the 70s but I see him now and am still in love with him. He's very handsome!!
Ok Dennis..we can get married now 😍🔥😍
So disappointed Dr. Hook never made the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Great singers and musicians.
Dennis is right. A healthy father figure is REALLY important for kids, especially boys. "Dad energy" is real, and it's vastly different from "Mom energy". Kids needs BOTH.
Fantástico!
❤
It's odd that every person ( for the most part ) that Dennis mentioned, is now deceased. Dennis is alive and well at the age of 75.
They were high alot on stag, but I watch them, funny,
I understand Geminis . I really do , and I love them so much . They are crazy, and inspirational . They truly are mercurial. Mercury's children . You cannot shut them the fuck up ! But if they are pure , nice gems ... You won't want to .
True about the Father figure influence as opposed to the mum thing .
He sounds like me ... Rod thingummy. Jeeze .
Dennis, you don't seem to age that much .
That guy who is interviewing you looks like Paul Merton .
How great was that ?
I am confused here it looks like Paul Merton in this interview but he sounds Scottish and I know that he is a Londoner
@Debbie Scott He looks very much like Paul Merton and he is from London Check out an old photo of him They are very alike
I didn't know he was in a wheelchair
It is not a wheel chair. It ia chrome accents.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm sorry I don't like this interviewer
