Props to McLaren on trying to make a midship GT car, and surprisingly succeeding.
Great cinematography too, which is not surprising since this is a Carfection vid.
This reminds me of the new mid engined corvette......🤔
The side air intakes, yeah. Was gonna say the same thing. I think I like the look of this more tho...
Both meh in the looks department.
Just fantastic. What a car. What a sound.
Gosh, your driving position is a bit... Driving Miss Daisy.
Sadly for McLaren, the new C8 Corvette will do everything this GT will do at a pittance of the cost. Actually better. How could two cars with such similar specification, and looks, be so far apart on cost?
No, really. Google C8 Corvette.
It should had a 2+2 to compete among others . They will fail with this car
Abdullah Almoqbali better for the people I guess, the price will go down inevitably like any mclaren and you cant deny that its better than any GT right now in almost everyway
2+2s are worthless a waste of dpsce nobody can sit back there
@@allensaunders449 kids can sit in a 2 plus 2. The Bentley rear seats are usable.
Al mac you’re never going to get that level of rear legroom in a mid-engine car
@@mercury6765 this doesn't even have rear seats.
I wonder how much time required for you guys to come up with those speeches. Beautiful audio and video. What else can you ask for?
Why do you look like your sitting on the steering wheel?
He hasn't got his glasses with him
It’s a beautiful looking motor sounds wow brilliant video
Looks like the F430 from the front. No rear seats for kids. Fail.
My God those shots 🙏give that drone operator a bonus
so basically its a mclaren for boring people
@@adrenalinejunkie3828 the Bentley is more luxurious and less noisy and seats 4. Totally different kind of car. This is closer to a sports car than a luxury GT.
Only good Mclarens atm are the 720S and 600LT. The Speedtail doesnt excite me and the rest of the line-up are dull.
@@HG504X Senna is the best of the bunch isn't it
So its a Mclaren then
Three things to say: 1) This was a very good video, bravo!
2) Why does the presenter sit so close to the steering wheel
3) Why 2 watches??
It would have been perfect with an atmospheric v12 or even v8, and it dont realy look like a gt
It does have a V8.
@@F1ll1nTh3Blanks yes but turbocharged
amine that is still a v8 , dumb fuck
@@karlsandin4515 when you will know more about cars, come talk to me
amine so you’re telling me a v8 with twin turbo chargers isn’t a v8, I’m a technician at Audi, I’m pretty sure I have a clue about the auto industry, but sure buddy, have a good night
Dunno about the car,
but the video was quite really good, especially the opening.
F812 SuperFast , way better, 12 cilinders NA
MrTittolone I assume you have driven both in order to proclaim one better then the other?
@@Jabber-ig3iw Enzo Ferrari use to say "The horse comes before the cart, and not the other way around" . Anyway what's the point to put engine in the back in a gran turismo car? I can't find any pros, but yes a lots of cons...
Not in the same price bracket. Two comeptlely different cars. But if I was offered the two, I'd take the 812 without any hesitation, better in almost every way.
He didn't mention the price, its only the bit more than the 570s. So well priced tbh.
McLaren just made 540C and then upsell it under 10 different names, its the same car
Goes to show how little you know, lol.... keep guessing
@@Nemoticon all v8, all twin turbo, all midengined 2 seaters, all look alike
It is beautiful to be sure, but (and I am biased here) I would much rather have an F90 M5C with $100k in the trunk. Without boundary-pushing supercar performance, you really are paying the premium for looks and exclusivity alone. Great review guys.
Not sure what it is, but I find this car to be ugly.
Ugly, no, the Senna, now thats ugly!
Oh look McLaren have built yet another body shell around the same powertrain.. :P
@@0megalul309 Have they though? Different engines. The Mac is literally the same engine for every model since the MP4 12C isn't it just tuned differently.
Where's Henry? Alex? Rory? Anybody, please return out rightful hosts.
Just checked autotrader and they're starting at about 230k brand new. That's a bargain if you ask me. Especially since McLaren is continuously improving they're products and building on their successes. I was expecting it to be in the 300's but it's actually quite less. Dragtimes posted a few races with a 610-4 huracan and they're neck and neck at the quarter mile but the GT is pulling hard on the lambo at that point.
wheres the hairy dude? Catchpole is his name I think, way better at presenting....
I was waiting for this one
Very poor...who is this guy?
Brilliant review.
He steers like my nan in her micra
Nice and classy review
Nooooo not him, anyone but him
Lol
This guy was here way before henry and contributed a lot to the channel.
Emilio8x maybe so but I just can’t deal with his voice (and I’m scottish)
@@mrmoran0077 What does you being scottish have to do with it?
TriHard Cx because in case you hadn’t noticed this fella appears to be attempting a scottish accent but christ knows where from... hopefully this illustrates the point I was trying to make 🙂 ruclips.net/video/rFN69OZwJTM/видео.html
