Hello and welcome back for another #furnitureflip, today I am am restoring an old dining table and chairs by giving it a high end , #RestorationHardware inspired transformation.
I love sharing with others the different techniques that I have learned throughout my furniture flipping journey, so in this video I will take you through step by step as I complete this project. This furniture transformation was a bit time consuming but I think it turned out beautiful in the end. And even if you aren’t in the business of flipping furniture for a profit like I am, this is definitely something you can do to give some of your personal furniture a quick refresh, on a budget 😀
I have tried so many things along the way and I’ve come to find that the best way (for me at least) to achieve a smooth paint finish is to use a pneumatic spray gun, ( linked below)… But you can always use a brush or a roller in place of a spray gun. I am still seeking to find the perfect paint but I believe I am getting very close, for now I have been using Home Depot’s cabinet enamel.

I’m doing my table project in my crocs too, just a tip for next time I like to connect a shop vac to my sander so I don’t have to dump it out multiple times! Your table turned out awesome! The legs are very intricate on the table I am redoing
There are no better shoes for furniture flipping 😀 Thank you for the tip! ❤️

Like to strip a table 'n chair set for breakfast nook with a bench. Job well done!!
Thank you!
was this a solid wood top or veneer? also why not use stripper on base? easier?
If I’m remembering correctly it was solid wood.

How big is the table. You did a great jo!
Hmm, this was a really long time ago so I don’t remember exactly but it was a standard size table :)
Beauty from neglect hi do u thin the paint
I have tried in the past and it didn’t work for me. I use latex paint now and it is not required.
What was the finish of the paint? Matte or satin?
Hmm… this was a while ago but I’m thinking satin, that’s typically my go to. :)
💕
Thanks

I thank you
How do you price your item
It all depends on how much I put in on supplies mostly. I don’t have an exact equation I just like to make some profit. Pretty distressed here on RUclips has a video sharing a formula though :)
