Rethinking that YES, I would want to own that Birdy! Would indeed want to own it for lifelong riding! It IS beautiful.., on top of it being functional light weight!
Honestly no! My much former and lighter than 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton, with mudguards, has been modified down to 9 kilo and I had hoped to be able to reach even further down, using a titanium stem post, but enough was enough, so I stopped there (I like my bike to still look fully "Standard")! As a 100kilo man I could easily find less expensive ways to make us both weigh less! Finn. Denmark
Hmm... not sure about this. Would I pay $10K? Perhaps, but not $20K. I admire Birdys but this bike is over-engineered, which could be a good thing. This bike is also overly complicated. It kind of gives me a headache. For starters, I don't see a need for disc brakes on a 20" folding bike. It looks cool but weighs more than rim brakes.

Yes
I certainly would not pay. But its interesting to see a Birdy with that trifold system. How small does it fold?

Understand, but if both were owned, Birdy and Brompton would have separate usages to my mind.

Keep in mind that the Birdy titanium is the same weight as the aluminum Birdy.
Agree on rim brakes preference here. Never an athletic racing cyclist here.
