The Dodgers remind me of the 90s Atlanta Braves constantly winning the division and making the playoffs but falling short.

2018 they could have won too.
The Dodgers seemed more concerned with winning the division vs getting ready for post season in the last. This year they are pacing themselves much better and this is despite all the injuries.
@f430ferrari5 Even in 2017, the Dodgers did themselves in numerous times in games 3, 4, and 7 with pitching implosions, so cheating or not, the Astros would've likely won regardless. Not popular to say at all but it's the truth.

The bias against Shohei is ridiculous. The Dodgers have the 4th highest payroll. You know who’s number 1 and 2? The NYM & the NYY. So tell me why this is t a question for them? They haven’t won a WS recently🤔
The Dodgers have the highest payroll if you consider the $68 million/yr for Ohtani that was deferred.

In my opinion it's not just world series or bust/ it's they gotta win at least 2 titles to make it worth the money they spent. One title ain't enough/ I know for some it will be.
As a dodgers fan absolutely. For the last ten years we have been World Series relevant and have only 1 to show. Despite possible cheating for two others, we have made and had and too many reasons as to why. Not clutch. We have one of the best teams money can buy and to not have a ring feels like a bust. Most dodger fans won’t have this take
But the organization is invested in money and revenue. I do believe the Asian market dodgers want to tap and winning a ring is secons

I know the media dreams of Yankees vs Dodgers in WS but it ain’t gonna happen soon. Yankees have a horrible losing record since All-Star break and they count on 2 players. It could be Dodgers in WS but likely Orioles or Astros against them lol. 😂 Yes the dreaded Astros, they are 9-1 in past 10 games. And Tucker and Verlander will return from injury too. It’ll be interesting.
