@@daedaetinez6406 I drove truck for years I always honk for the kids. School buses always have kids doing it. I use to take my kid 20 some plus years ago. She was maybe 4 or 5 years old and every weekend I would drive from central oklahoma to little rock AR. So her momma worked on the weekends so I took my kid. she use to point at my rope for the horn then put her hands over her ears until I blew it. Wow was she cute. I even taught her how to do it to other trucks from the seat of mine. Almost all of them would do it then hit me up on the radio and tell me it made their day. But my favorite time I ever had someone give me the signal I was going across lake Eufaula on the I 40 bridge, it runs along the side the water for a few miles but once a dude on water skies gave me the signal and a thumbs up when I did it.

I like how all the man is humble and realizes that God has put him where he it's currently at. even if you don't believe in God, I've never heard anybody to be humble and just listen before you open your mouth. and that man is a representation of that

My uncle got his dream truck, a fully loaded Lonestar International just before he was diagnosed with cancer in his nose, His nose was removed but the cancer had spread to his eye and brain then with that he was given 9 months to live. I was given his Lonestar International in his will which i rent out to a great friend of the family and my uncles best friend and he uses it for his company and also takes the best care of it.
When i see things like this it really does make me wonder what my uncle would have done thus far with his truck, probably would have loved that i own my machine shop and could make him stuff for it too.
This rig is gorgeous, The work that went into it is insane, The frame work AND adding another axle to accomodate the sleeper is blowing my mind and to be working on it for TWELVE YEARS. ON THE ROAD. Absolute madman, thank you for sharing 😂😂

I'm 23, I just bought my first truck. The last company I worked for was all about embracing new equipment with new technology...unfortunately it's been a huge downfall for them. They went the way of DEF and DPF and even went as far as to "invest" in trucks with compressed natural gas. That being said, every truck they had me in didn't last more than a month at most cause of issues with one of those 3 things. So that was a huge consideration when buying my first truck. I ended up going with an 07 international with a c15 cat in it. No after treatment on it. So I definitely appreciate what the gentleman in the video was saying, it's nice to have something you can fix yourself.
