The funny thing is victini's victory star ability makes his attacks more accurate however he misses focus miss

Against a fighting type, Technoblade, the legend himself, uses the not very effective Shadowball instead of a super effective Psychic
DomHyrule Ghost was normal effectiveness there, but yeah he should've done psychic.
Psychic was normal effectiveness too because Cobalion is Fighting Steel and Steel resists Psychic. Psychic would have been stronger though because it has more base power and because of same type attack bonus

ok one sec lemme explain to you why cuz im a pokemon nerd
in gen 1, there are only 2 bug attacking moves.
those 2 are: Pin Missile and Twinneedle
Both are weak multihits, meaning they are inconsistent
Also, Twninnedle is the signature move of Beedrill.
Mewtwo was at +2, meaning it would probobaly outspeed and OHKO Pinsir as pinsir's SpDef is low
Also Pinsir doesnt even learn a bug move in gen 1 lol

I want to genuinely praise Techno for making the right call to preserve Hydreigon for dealing with Shedinja.
This is both hard to watch and extremely entertaining, as a person who memorises type advantages/disadvantage, and certain moves/abilities. Still I enjoyed every minute of it.

Tentacool isn't fast, Pikachu is just super slow
@@treebeard3610 Pikachu has a 90 as his base speed stat, which is worse than fast sweepers like Gengar. Tentacool isn't as fast, but I think the Pikachu set he was using was a ZU set, so it didn't max speed, but tentacool did max speed.
@just kidding my name is not Steve pikachu's speed stat is litterally tied with normal Lucario's 90. SO YOUR TELLING ME LUCARIO IS A BULKY MON?
Pikachu is just bad. Unless you can get nasty plot, surf, fake out and discharge he's kinda just bad. He's not good for sweeping, most of the time

Fun fact: shedinja is actually a 1 shot pokemon because it has 1 health but it has moves that can make it dodge that’s why it’s health didn’t go down when hydregion used dark pulse it has wonder guard too which is pretty good

Crit chances in gen 1 is based on the Pokémon’s base speed stat.That is why there are so many crits in the first battle.
