i'll tell you but you just coulda gone and searched it up. it boosts both defense and special defense to pokemon that can stil evolve, which is why in pokemon vgc ( basically competitive) we like to use eviolite clefairy.

hearing techno say "rng is just another type of skill" is so funny because back in school i hung out with this asshat who was also a big techno fan. one day we got into a HUGE argument over a quiz for one of our classes. we had been 1uping each others scores for an entire study hall and it got to the point where we both had perfect answers and perfect timing so it came down to the powerup (which where completely rng) he kept getting things like "wrong answer eraser" and i was getting all the score doublers so i was winning every round and he got pissed and it was kinda funny. the teacher and our mutual friend ended up siding with me too lol
