You really captured the solitude of solo camping. Well done. I will say your gear is massive and to a GS minimalist quite shocking! But it looks like you’ve achieved maximum comfort.
I figured my gear would surprise some people, but at 64 years, being able to stand up in my tent and getting a good night sleep is worth the extra 10 pounds.
you ride with lots of equipment and a spacious tent. A small technical question... Do you see a difference between your Schuberth full face, which is known to be very quiet, compared to the Shoei helmet?
I don't use any more equipment than most, I just use a comfortable sleeping pad and a larger tent. I can easily carry it on the bike. I find nothing noble about being uncomfortable and not sleeping well. I have only used the Schburth once, do it is too as soon to tell, but it does seem quietrr than the Shoei modular, but not as much as the RF1200.
I think his packing list is a bit more based on creature comforts thereby increasing the size of the load. Because it was substantial. But our needs are all different. As an example I have a sea to summit inflatable mattress rated 7 thermal index that only weighs a pound and is a quarter of the size. Rolls up to the size of a *quart* of milk. He looked super comfy because what he chose to bring. Your level of comfy may be much more minimal. I know mine is. But any way it goes there is nothing better than being out in Mother Nature as a means of true self care.
Well I had never heard of asmr style Craig .I had to look it up.I just learned what it meant .that was probably a hard video no talking not easy . maybe it’s a sign to me don’t talk so much just listen got it !🙂
Sometimes silence speaks louder than words
Great video
Good stuff. Peaceful and calm. A one nighter is a great way to reset!
Thanks.
That was very enjoyable, looked like a good time.
An Inspiration for all of us to get out. Well done!
What a great way to clear head and it was dry.
Safe travels.

Nice Chillaxing Video Sir! No BS and just R&R. Nice.
Ride SAFE and BE safe! 👍👍
Love the 'silent' films!
I have the same triple nickel shirt! Enjoyed the video, keep it up.
Similar to a Stirling Noren video, good work.
High praise, thank you!
I have a USB pump I believe like yours and can be used as a deflator pump as well
I liked that ! The silent philosopher ! I thought that you had a severe case of tentanitus ??
Interesting!
Now that’s enjoying retirement!

Thank you for this video, I now know for sure that camping is not for me, I will stick to motels & hotels. 😂

Which chair were you using on this trip?
It is the REI camp chair
Why did you not use the pump to deflate your sleeping pad?
Because it takes longer than just rolling it up and then I have to roll it anyway.
Squirrels used to be extremely aggressive there. Would sniff out food and chew through anything to get to it.
Luckily no squirrel problem for me.

I thought it illustrated what solo camping is all about. Hanging with yourself and being quiet.
Motorcycle sounds - 👍, Sounds of setting up camp - 👍, Sounds of nature - 👍, Annoying background music - 👎👎👎. 😁
@@LTVoyager What a shock...
I never understood why people have to throw equipment, smashing it onto the ground...
What did you say?
